Welcome to CHROMATIC -- an alien invasion AU roleplay set in the radical 1980s. In the current timeline the first alien spacecraft touched down on Earth approximately 14 days ago. Ever since then the planet has been plunged into total chaos. Livestock (and people) are being kidnapped via tractor beam, none of the world governments have a solution to combat this sudden invasion, and everyday citizens are left to fend for themselves.

✲ GUIDELINES
1. Please favorite the roleplay before making a reservation. Reservations last for 24 hours and you will not be notified when your reservation expires. To make a reservation please comment using the following format:

2. Mun and muse must both be 20+ years old (character's age can be changed from IRL but must remain above 20). We do not allow muses that are: deceased, involved in criminal activity/controversy, have requested not to be used in a roleplay setting, influencers/internet personalities with less than 1mil followers, or anyone involved in the adult entertainment industry.
You're allowed two characters from the start, and a third character with an upvote.
3. Inactivity is set to 30 days since we don't have any activity requirements. However, if you do receive an inactive symbol we will notify you to ask if you want to stay in the roleplay. If this message goes unanswered after 24 hours you will be removed from the roleplay and your character(s) deactivated.
4. We allow all points of view and writing styles. Rated M content is allowed within designated rated [M] rooms, walls and private messages. Use your own discretion for what should and shouldn't be posted in public. Any posts involving potentially triggering content MUST be tagged appropriately at the beginning of the post.
5. IC drama is welcome and encouraged. The totally tubular pxsswxrd to join us is "RUN!" OOC drama is strictly forbidden. If you are having issues with another mun and are unable to resolve the conflict, please create a group PM with the admin(s) for assistance. Failure to resolve the conflict may result in removal from the roleplay and potential blacklisting.
6. We allow both human and alien characters, though we do ask that if you join as an alien you clear the specifics of it with the admins first (ex. does your alien have powers? what is their original form like, or have they always looked similar to humans? what is their goal on Earth? etc.).
7. If you need to request a hiatus, wish to change your character's faceclaim, need a personal or public room added, etc. please tag an admin here for assistance.
IMPORTANT: If you plan on leaving the roleplay you must PRIVATE MESSAGE all admins; failure to do so may result in being blacklisted from future roleplays.
