absolutely no oc drama. this is a private roleplay, and a closed roleplay, at that. you have been personally permitted and accepted to take part in this writing opportunity. if you choose to give that up by bringing oc issues into this sphere, you will be blacklisted and removed from the roleplay.

i understand that not everyone will get along with one another from time to time; but i fully expect you all to treat each other with respect and work through your issues like mindful adults. oc pettiness and such will not be tolerated. i expect you all to be open and honest with your communication, especially about your writing needs and whatnot.

you are not to discuss other roleplays or rpr users openly in chat. be respectful of one another. do not bubble chat in the writers' café.

negative talk about one's own writing or other's writing preferences and styles will not be tolerated here. you are allowed to ask for constructive critique, however. there is a big difference between the two. friends support one another, so let's embody that by keeping criticisms at zero.

and nsfw threads will only be permitted in private rooms and walls. public rooms that are marked as 'm rated' are only for language and some ual themes (kissing, inneundos).

be mature and tasteful about realistic relational intimacy, both oc and ic. if certain pda actions are becoming uncomfortable for anyone in public rooms, you will be asked to move to private rooms as stated earlier in this rule.

ic deaths are not allowed. marriage and pregnancies must be discussed with me (realllllmino) and your partner before you go  through with it. however, let's not kiss kiss fall in love in 5 days. be as realistic as you can for twenty-year-old somethings living in a bustling city, navigating their love life, careers, friendships.

the discussion of end-games is discouraged; however, i understand that at a certain point, the topic will arise between couples. i highly encourage everyone to keep playing their metaphorical cards to as far as they can. even in the friends tv show, the characters did not endgame with those who they dated and married (until probably the very end).

finally, i want to emphasize that i appreciate constructive criticism and suggestions for anything regarding my maintenance or running of the roleplay from those who are active members. do reach out via pm! your voice matters.

inactivity is set to the leniency of 30 days; however, you are expected to post at least a few times once a week. this is a hard rule, and the consequence of abusing and violating this rule will result in you being kicked from the roleplay. (i do not want to do this, so follow this rule with the utmost care.)

the activity required of you shouldn't be too difficult to follow through with. you are allowed to send one-liners in group setting interactions. posting, liking, commenting in the social media rooms are also considered as activity.

if you find that you cannot keep up with the activity requirements and you need a short break, please discuss with me, and we will devise a plan to place your character elsewhere until your return — in the same fashion as when an actor/actress takes a temporary leave from a tv show.

on the rare occasion that you will be leaving the roleplay, do reach out to me for a discussion about your character before you leave. if you leave without informing me, there is a lower chance of you being re-admitted into the roleplay.

in group settings, when it comes to thread replies and writing lengths, you are ONLY allowed to reply IN 3RD pov AND with the maxIMUM length of approximately 300 words (para length). do not exceed this length as i do not want anyone to feel pressured to mirror.

(please note that one-liners will be allowed for ease of group interactions. that being said, all replies must be in complete sentences and must be in 3rd POV.)

I DO NOT LIKE HINDERING PEOPLE FROM WRITING AS MUCH AS THEY LIKE, BUT I HAVE CHOSEN TO INCORPORATE THIS AS A group RULE FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE ROLEPLAY, AND EVERYONE'S STORYLINE PROGRESSION. this WILL BE the extent of my manhandling THE LENGTH/STYLE OF YOUR REPLIES.

outside of group settings, personal threads and monologues are free to be as lengthy as you'd like for them to be!

every month, one or multiple muns will be selected to participate in a sol (slice-of-life) plot/scenario device. these are given to help progress ongoing plots or to spice up anything that might be going stagnant. if you do not wish to take part during a particular month, you have the option to opt out once. read the slice of life room for more in-depth details.

only faceclaims of korean descent are allowed for now until further notice. celebrities who are deceased, deemed problematic, or have asked not to be roleplayed will not be allowed as faceclaims for the friends or any future characters.

characters and faceclaims must be 20 years old or above.

one character per mun. double-accounts will be removed, blacklisted, and banned. no new characters will be added until a slot opens or a plot line has been added.

name changes will not be allowed for now.

faceclaim changes of the same will be permitted once every 3 months per mun; however, you will not be allowed to change your character's respective background if it drastically effects the dynamic of the friend group.
