The streets of Seoul are usually a busy place; humans tend to walk freely, with no worries other than what they will have for dinner, or where they should hang out. But at night, the streets fall quiet and allow the city vampires to roam free. Only a foolish human would stay out at the darkest hour.
▬) Vampires
Considered top of the food chain, for obvious reasons, consider them self to be at a higher ranking than humans. They are faster, stronger, and of course drink blood. A vampire must drink at least 3 humans dry of their blood a week to stay at full strength (of course they can drink little bits gradually to form this amount and this not actually kill someone). Vampires are unable to go out during the day, there is no magic ring or special powers than can allow a vampire to go out in sunlight. Sunlight WILL kill vampires. Holy water, crosses, garlic etc do nothing against vampires. Silver can be deadly, but only if shot in the head with it. Silver wounds anywhere else will cause vampires to bleed, and heal like a human would. A vampire has no memory of their human life. Vampiers can drink other vampires blood but it will not taste nice.
▬) Vampire hunters
A wannabe hunter will die. You cannot simply become a hunter, a hunter is born. Hunters have the ability to match up against a vampire in strength and sometimes speed. This is usually because of the abnormality of their ancestors drinking vampire blood. A hunter may continue drinking vampire blood and remain strong, or they can choose not to and allow their abilities to slowly fall dormant. A vampire hunter’s motive is not to kill vampires, but to keep them captive and used as lab rats so that they can form a stronger human race.
▬) Humans
Unfortunately, humans are the bottom of the food chain and completely vulnerable. Most tend not to get involved with vampires, but if one does, it is extremely hard to leave if known to a vampire. Humans are quite often used as slaves by vampires, and used at a vampires whim. It would be smart to do as they are told as they are considerably weak. It is possible, that a vampire and human become attached by a method known as bonding.
▬) Bonding
A human and vampire may bond. A hunter and vampire may bond. Vampires cannot bond with each other. Bonding can happen when a vampire bites a human and drinks from them, but does not kill them. They will feel attachment to one another, and share each other’s emotions. E.G If one were to feel pleasure elsewhere away from their bonded, the other would know and partially experience this pleasure also. The bond is not permanent and can be broken. If the two bonded stay away from each other for a long period of time, the bond will eventually disappear. If another vampire was to bite the bonded human, but not kill, they would become bonded and the vampire before would feel as though something was being ripped away from them as the bond is lost – a very traumatic experience for vampires. Stealing a vampires human is looked down upon, but some vampires take joy in stealing humans away from their vampires.
