JUNG SOOYEON
you might just melt my exterior
You could say Sooyeon had a hard life; at least it was for her. Born in San Francisco, California as Jessica Jung/Jung Sooyeon, she was abandoned as an infant by her biological parents on the streets. Thankfully, you could say, she was found and taken in by an orphanage. She lived there till around the age of seven, in misery and torture. Though they say she should've been thankful for being taken in, she wasn't. Why? She was abused, hurt, pushed around, and not cared for properly. Future liberation and achievement remained as her only motivators throughout the time period. A past that she wishes not to talk about. The scars remain nonetheless and add to her list of insecurities and issues. Afterwards, a family adopted her. An American man and a Korean woman. A loving couple that treated her like their own daughter along with her "older brother". Despite being taken in into a well upper-middle class family, she didn't feel secure. She felt suicidal, the love suffocated her. She pretended it was all okay when of course it wasn't. She was thankful and for that reason she prided them with her education. She worked hard for the first 21 years of her life to get a good education - attending UC Berkeley to major in photojournalism and minor in microbiology and European history. That still didn't satisfy her. As by accident she met her supposed biological parents. She despised them even more than she did before that they had other children and she was just an "accident" before they got married. She had to get away. She promptly moved to Korea to live on her own, now working for multiple famous newspapers and magazines and making use of her hard earned education. Cold, sadistic, slightly arrogant, blunt, stubborn, slightly conceited, clever, apathetic, competitive, multilingual, solitary, intrepid, reserved, bleak, nonchalant, and ambitious. Those qualities remained. Soon after moving to Korea, her supposed homeland, many things happened. She got up with a cult. The anemic female had always been a casual adherent of religion, specifically episcopal Anglican, and never had she thought she would get caught up in something like this. She joined. It wasn't just any cult; it was a prestigious cult for the select that was also associated surprisingly with gangs and the mafia. The masochistic Jessica fell in love with it almost immediately and became an assassin for the cult-mafia combo team, under cover of course at night as any other "murder" with technically two jobs.

OOC CORNER
hypocritical — with extremely slow replies
Umm, hello there stalker. o/ Perhaps you may have seen me around, but chances may be you haven't. I'm quite a picky person that is also sanctimonious and judgemental. I absolutely admire intelligence, sorry I'm weird like that. I just have a few rules and thoughts, so just bear with me here. orz. Note: Do not take everything I say seriously. I am a nice and considerate person outside of roleplaying but I prefer to remain in character on roleplays to garner the full experience, if y'know what I mean. If you wish to know more about me, drop by my personal wall. c:
Number one: If you ask to roleplay expect to be the one to drop a starter whether it be walls or rooms because I'm a busy person plus you are the one that asked to rp.
Number two: I cannot be on 24/7, so be understanding of that. Believe it or not, I have a life. My timezone is GMT-5 and often times rpr says I'm online when in fact I am not (reality is that I'm too lazy to log off).
Numero tres: Use correct grammar. Geez people. I'm quite a grammar nazi and I let a few gramatical errors slip by as I make them as well but there is a limit.
Number four: give me some space and time because I'm barely available with my busy life. If it's a reply or starter, I cannot get to it immediately because I'm on mobile often. Don't poke me constantly or else I will stop replying to you, it gets on my nerves.
Numero cinq: If I give you 2-3 paragraphs, please give me the same. I'm a para to semi-para writer but also up for multi-para when I have the time, motivation, and energy.
Number six: Deal with me and my use of emoticons OOC. I love emoticons. And if you don't like me, don't talk to me or talk behind my back. If you have something to say, say it to my face.
Number seven: If I'm in a bad mood, seeing that I can be quite bipolar at times, I will not reply, especially if I'm either angry or extremely depressed.
