The streets of Myeong-dong

Here, in the streets of Myeong-dong, the most commerical area in Seoul, most people gather to obtain food from street vendors, take buses downtown, or just explore the neighborhood and the shops it has to offer. Go on and enjoy yourself! Sit down at cafe, window shop, or play the guitar for money!

"Then," interwining their fingers, as he locked his hands into hers. The corner of Jongin's lips curls up into a grin, he once believe he had none left. What happened? Jongin knew the answer to it, for the first time one of his un-revealed question's were finally correct. She happened, Taeyeon. She was the one who brought him back to life, thank you for such a beautiful gift - Jongin could feel himself thanking heaven - but a little part of him knows that further in the future, Jongin would have to run over mountains and hills just to keep her in his hold. One mistake - than she'll vanish, and as much as he wants to admit the fact that he doesn't want to let go. It'd be a lie if he were to deny that he wasn't concern.

"Taeyeon listen," As they showed up at the stair steps next to her front door, turning him a direction to face her, knowing that she's probably happier than moments ago. "I was wondering if you feel like moving in together? I- I mean I could at least have someone to help me around the house since I at the moment can't cook for myself easily." Jongin rubs the back of his nape nervously, now he is just feeling completely embarrassed, especially when the old high school feeling of being boyish slips back to him. " I - you, know forget I'd ever ask." He shook off the idea and thought maybe Taeyeon is looking at him weirdly now, good job being a goofy Jongin.

"Good night," Going straight to a different subject, just before he'd made his way down the stairs step; Jongin stepped back and places a good night kiss on her forehead. "I'll see you tomorrow, or just head over to my place. I'll be up all night anyways. "

Pulling away the male headed down her stair steps and made his way to his home. It wasn't far, yet only right next door. Everytime whether it was him or her, whenever Jongin gets upset he'll head over to her place, or sometimes it could also be her - who makes her way to his house. However - Jongin feels a little bit off from before, instead of leaving her like how he planned, it ended up another way around them. He wasn't sure on how things always makes its twist and turns around them, but whatever it is life is planning on them, Jongin just have to learn that he'll have to stop trying to seek through ahead for his future and just roll with the life he's given.

@Kim Jongin (it's totally alright :D you are so hard on yourself, your writing seems flawless every time /shot listening to it on repeat too, trying to write to it )

It was a curious thing - no one else fought her words. Whatever she did, they accepted. They'd go with whatever she wanted, but Jongin...he wasn't afraid of expressing what he felt - not what she wanted to hear. If he had, he would have easily caved to her, he would be unable to think of anything that would combat her desires. He wasn't as helpless as most though, even though he was impaired. If anything, he was the only one who was empowered. Taeyeon was painfully aware of that. It seemed at first, as the words that were woven by his tongue only seemed to hurt her so bad. She wanted to fight him, she wanted to prove him wrong. Her words wouldn't be enough, though.

Neither of their words were going to be satisfactory. And just when she thought she was going to have to raise the white flag, she was captured in something that she didn't see coming, not now...but it was exactly what she needed. He took control and lifted her chin up while snaking his arm around her...nothing had ever made her feel so alive. The way she felt couldn't be described. It was a mixture of pure passion and undying, uncovered, desire that she denied for so long. The way his skin sent electricity through her...the way his soft lips were like feathers against hers. She lost herself in him, unable to focus on anything except the man standing in front of her.

It was all over too soon - without even realizing it, her lashes had fallen over eyes. She was frozen in that position for a moment as she tried to catch her breath. Tried just to come back down to Earth...but she couldn't shake this feeling. Even when her eyes fluttered open once again and she looked into his still, captivating features she couldn't help but feel as if he was a dream. Jongin kissed her.

It was probably the most amazing kiss she had ever experienced.

"You're welcome." Hearing him speak finally brought her soul, which had been on cloud nine, back to its temple. Taeyeon couldn't help but let the smallest of laughs slip through at the response he gave her. Was it weird that she was thankful? Happy that he silenced her, because they both knew...she was arguing from what she was hanging onto. If she just opened up, if she looked at the man for who he was...and not the boy she knew before... "Are you willing to take the risk?"

Taeyeon split her lips, but not a sound escaped. Not at first. She couldn't help but feel as if she owed him a truthful answer. Something that might not be the words from a drama, or from a best selling novel. These words were going to be from her, to him. A grown Jongin...not the kid she knew before. He had grown to live and change all these years apart - but had she? "I'm willing to try, to give you my everything. Mistake after mistake. Just let me try. And if you hurt me, we'll know then...but until then...will you give me the chance to grow with you? Will you show me all that's changed? All I need you to do is that...because if you do....Not matter how much pain you put me through, at least we tried."

Taeyeon squeezed her hands. If he didn't want her...she'd understand. She'd have to understand. If he just gave her a chance...to show her who he was now...to see if she still was madly drawn to him like in this moment...she'd have no regrets.

(This song really fits the plot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqKKuUrp3WM)

Her words. There is no way he'd be thinking she's a liar - Taeyeon never lied to him, not once, why would she? It wouldn't make any sense if she did, would it? Jongin the back of her head as he lets his fingers dances through her curls, with his fingers tangling near the end of her hair. "I.." how could he promise her? What proof does he have to show her that he wants to be with her too? Jongin pulls away, fading so far he knew it wasn't the right thing to be done.

"I want to promise you," holding her face in his palms. They've touched before, but Jongin knows that this is very different. This feeling is like being stranded at sea, only to gaze upon land for the first time in ages. "but.." he trails off trying to figure the correct saying to fit the moment. "I don't believe we could go back to the past. Just look at me, I'm a terrible person. I am expected to see you smile, yet I am feeling tears wet against your cheeks. Are you even sure that you're willing to accept me into your life when all I will ever do is make mistakes more and more; I will end up hurting you, even if I didn't mean to do it. I don't want you to live like this Taeyeon," Jongin said it well, and he tried to say it as painless as ever - but knowing her far too well - it'll never be painless. He understood her words well. She wanted to be with him and wants things to go back to how they once were before the accident, Taeyeon just wants happiness for them both and so do he, but she is far from knowing what he's hiding.

"..Taeyeon.." Jongin wraps a finger around her perfect small chin. An arm swings around her curves and pulled her close. He lifted her chin and he leaned in, this was something he had wanted to do for such a long time now. He wanted - ever since the day he first met her - Jongin had always wanted to kiss her. Softly and passionately he let his lips came in contact with hers. Today happened more than he expected; he wanted to hold her, yet he ended up getting to kiss her. Today fate happens to be granting his wishes - but he knew well enough that it'd never let him have his happiness until his hearts contents.

Slowly swifting away Jongin felt himself breathing a bit heavily. He looks into her eyes, without seeing he notices her dumbfounded thoughts, "your welcome." This time for sure Jongin lowers his hand and locked it into hers. "I-.." "Taeyeon.. are you willing to take the risk?"

( i'm dead sleepy if there's something that doesn't make sense please forgive meh, /cries. i promise to do better bae.)
Kim Taeyeon [A] 10 years ago
@Kim Jongin (WHAT. Oh my gosh seriously orz you gotta try all this stuff, having your hair go to green tips then to blond in the same year helps you feel like a new person over and over again o3o you're doing really good I'm just jealous xD and forgive me now I'm on mobile )

It was all so beautifully heart breaking. The way Jongin was so careful with how he reacted to her. How he filtered his words towards her, how he really thought she even cared about the money. How for some reason, he believed it pained her to have him in her life. Jongin couldn't be more wrong. Taeyeon was forever thankful to him. What was so hard to comprehend about that? Jongin had been her savor. If she wanted anyone in her life, it was him. And he, he was the only one who did want to be at her side. Taeyeon yearned for him, though. She wanted nothing more than to be with him, day in and day out, looking as his angelic face. She wanted to hear his voice again when she left the house, she wanted to walk by his side telling him goofy jokes as people stared. She just wanted him. And he was so close...brushing her pale cheek with his oddly comforting hands. She wanted to let herself fall into him again, just the way she did the night before. Her heart was in pain though. It was worn from a long night of agony. Could it possibly be dispelled?

The answer to her question was answered as within seconds, his arm wrapped around her waist...leaving a burning sensation for her to indulge in as he pulled her into his embrace. Taeyeon's cheeks lit up as she was brought to his chest. She inhaled his sweet scent...one she has missed for so long. But her arms hesitated to enwrap the man in front of her now, even though his presence was like a drug itself. She wanted to so badly indulge ... "You're all I want In my life, Jongin. Please don't leave me again."

In the battle of the two, it seemed her heart had conquered. Taeyeon fought herself no more as she wrapped her arms around him and really let herself be with him, if only for this moment. "Don't do that to me every again. Don't leave me like that. I'm begging up Jongin. I need you more than you'll ever understand. Just please..trust me...my words are not hollow." Taeyeon pleaded as she squeezed him softly and let her heart pour out. "I don't want the stupid money, I don't want to hit you or yell. I just want you to promise me that you won't discard me like that again when all I want is you. I missed you so much Jongin, you have no idea. There were so many moments all I wanted was to be at your side again." Taeyeon confessed, feeling her heart lurch as she revealed pieces of herself all which were brutally honest . Including the last part. Even though a desperate urge to undo what she had done to him swarmed her when she saw his face, she never wanted anything more than to be there for him, the way he had before for her. To just let her in, to let her give him her everything. Taeyeon couldn't fathom why he refused - it brought her more pain to say goodbye to him.
Kim Jongin 10 years ago
Jongin took as much time as he needed. His eyes slowly lifts itself as he forces his head to angle towards the direction the sweet voice was coming from, "You owe my money." Yes, he does - she didn't need to remind him on such an important deal he already had scheduled down on his note-book, not that he'd ever carried one. "Already did, I told someone to send it to your place already. Be sure to grab the cash on your way home." He says, never removing his focus from her gaze. He knew well enough that he's not physically seeing her, but he would at least like to let himself picture Taeyeon the way he could see. "Your glares," Jongin takes a couple steps closer towards the female, full filling the empty distance held between them both. He may be blind, but he's able to see and understand reality more than he's ever had, and he wish for it to stay the way it is. "They're so cold I could feel my heart shattering piece by piece. I bet you're angry, I believe you want to beat my chest several times," his words die on his lips like fallen soldiers as Jongin reaches out and slowly, with tenderness he began caressing her cheek. "I'm sorry." Apologizing won't get him anywhere - but they were the only words he was able to let slide. There were more to be said, but Jongin wouldn't dare, she wouldn't want to hear them. Not even one bit of it.

"I wish to look at yo-" He stops because he truly does not believe the word 'beautiful' can amount to what she defines. Perhaps she is a fragment of heaven that has garnered the courage to grace the ground below her. "..Does it hurt." Jongin removes his hand from her cheek; returning back to him he places the hand over his chest, giving it a few gentle . "To see me back in your life?" Jongin only came all this way because he wanted to hold her in his embrace - if only he could be able to up his fear and envelope him into his arms, but Jongin couldn't do it. It was hard, too difficult to happen.

Knowing that she's perhaps feeling disgusted and irritated with his words, Jongin did one last thing and he finally did it. With one jerk he pulls Taeyeon in his arms, this time squeezing her, full filling all the emptiness he's felt for so long. The lonesome, the fake smiles, the pretending: the pain, the lonely whispers in his head. Jongin felt completed for once, in so long he actually feels warm - warmer than rather having two to three blankets over him. Jongin felted - he felted the warmth of home.

( OMFG LUCKY! My parents'- well no, my religion forbidden their children to dye their hair color, until they reach the age of 18 <///3 omf- I want my freedom now liek seriously. Sorry bae I'm trying haha).
Kim Taeyeon [A] 10 years ago
@Kim Jongin (No dyed it I'm blonde now ^^ blond as can be . Ugh being blind gives you so much more to work with xD )

"Watch where you're going." She had smashed into yet again another persons shoulder as she strolled along, empty mindlessly. She didn't even bother to mumble sorry. They wouldn't hear her low voice and she didn't have the energy to even remotely care. Taeyeon had been up all night...she had lied down for hours with no prevail. Her mind was hard at work, tormenting her. Breaking down each and every detail until there wasn't anything to debate. She still couldn't believe that was how last night went. She felt as if it was all so surreal...as if it was all just a bad nightmare that yesterday brought to her. She never woke up, though. She was trapped in a illusion she would have never seen coming.

She had tried all last night to convince herself this was just the way it needed to be. He was never going to want to see her or even be in the same range ever again. It was a rather had thing to accept as the entire time she was gone, Taeyeon used to believe whole heartedly that when she returned, she'd be able to go sit in his house again once more and do mindless things like listen to music on repeat. She was foolish yet again. Ah, to no surprise.

Her naive heart was at it again and taking her out to the one place they used to endure many hours together. Their old high school. Taeyeon knew she shouldn't have been indulging in their past life...but she needed this. To see the empty corridors and silent classrooms to remind her - the past should be as untampered with as this place was during every vacation and holiday. She was trying to trick her mind into letting go- but she had a feeling she knew how this would end. She wasn't emotionally strong when it came to Jongin - not because he was never not good to her - she just...was...

Taeyeon kept her head hung low as her venture finally lead her to the front gates, where she crossed the tamed grass with ease. She needed to rid her mind of these empty thoughts. They were going to do her no good. She was going to be eaten alive if she kept it up.

How could she put a end to it though, as she looked up and only a few feet in front of her was the same figure she came colliding into last night...still as a statue. Mimicking him in a sense, her footsteps too came to a a hault. After spending the entire night trying to dismiss him from her thoughts, he too, had come here. For the same reason? Was he here looking for comfort too?

...Taeyeon could only stare at him. She didn't know why she didn't say anything this time. She was being careful...so much so, the only thing you could hear from her was her slow breaths. Did she call out to him? 'He wants nothing to do with me.' Her mind instantly combatted that idea...leaving her rather dumbstruck. Like a deer in headlights. The only thing she could urge herself to do was something so completely irrational, it hurt her to the core.

"You owe me money." Taeyeon kept her eyes locked on the ground at this point...and she dared not to close the space.

(okay so I'm on mobile now and idk how that came out orz)
Kim Jongin 10 years ago
- The next day -

'Will you walk me down the aisle?" Her words straddle the line between a plea and a command as she tilts her teacup towards her lips, gaze concealed under the shade of her lashes. '

Jongin stopped his fingers from rumbling on. He doesn't know why, but something just doesn't feel right - of course.. he rejected Taeyeon off last night, how could something not possibly be bothering him? Jongin shook off the thoughts and tried to focus some more with his work,

'Chaehee's nerves are buzzing with anxiety as she casts an expectant look across the table, scrutinizing his face for any sighs of acknowledgment. '

Jongin paused again. What's wrong with him? why can't he focus like how he normally does? Can one night seriously f-him up this bad? Jongin ruffle his right hand through his hair with frustration, "I have to pay her soon." That's not it. 'You gotta apologize idiot' at least that's what Jongin's so-call-heart is convincing him to do. But he doesn't have the courage to do so, he can't face her ever again and that's just how simple it is. Taeyeon must understand that being with him will only make her miserable, she wouldn't enjoy the life even if she tried to pretend. Jongin was now blind - it's just better to keep their distance, he's only trying to help her create happiness, but why does it bum him so much that he wants to see her too? Jongin shook his head, as he went straight back to his work - hoping that it'll help him forget about Taeyeon soon enough.

'Siege's features remains flat and lifeless, his narrow eyes pouring over the mission accounts from the last endeavor. Her request fails to move him externally in any way as he reaches over to dip his fountain pen in a bottle of ink and inscribes his signature on the bottom of one of the reports without a sound.

She once took pr-'

Jongin at last slammed his laptop shut. He couldn't go on, it's not the same. Nothing is ever the same to him ever since last night, his feelings, creations, nothing is making sense anymore. He desperately wants to see her and hold her, knowing that he may not truly see Taeyeon before his eyes. He at least wants to hold her one last time to remove this unusual feeling, one that's been hanging over his shoulders ever since the time he arrived home. Pushing his chair back as Jongin made himself some room to flee. He rushes towards the front door, grabbed his thin coat, threw it on and made his exit out of his apartment. "Just once," Jongin gotten into the elevator and waited as he it made its way down to the lobby. "I want to hold her again, please." He waited short enough, and the doors to the elevator had open itself. Forgetting that his eyes were ever dead; Jongin knew exactly where he was going, there would be no other place Taeyeon would be besides at their old high school. As far as Jongin knows the two were very close ever since their teen years, they weren't just ordinary neighbors - they were actually friends back in high school as well, but of course. Jongin is always too afraid to confess to Taeyeon forward, she's been through relationships with other guys with him to the side regretting every stupid decisions and chance he should've took to tell her, ' I love you. ' Yes, three little words are more difficult to be said then how anyone would ever imagine in their life's.

Stopping before the gates Jongin awaited, 'would she be here?' Jongin freezes in his position as he waited to hear her voice. If she was here he would hear his name fly from her lips to him. Taeyeon, he is here waiting for her. Nevertheless Jongin closed his eyes. Listening to the silence of the wind dancing by sing quietly into his eyes, a lullaby Jongin would tend to hear more often then anyone else who would just see the wind as a little weather occasion.

(Lol no problem my replies are slower then they should be, really? curled it? awh thank you bae.)
Kim Taeyeon [A] 10 years ago
@Kim Jongin (orz, I'm sorry for late reply - I got my hair done. I loved your writing too, but you just killed Taeyeon.)

"I'm sorry, I don't think I've ever came across anyone who's name is Taeyeon." Arrows. It was like a swarm of arrows came crashing down on her, piercing every single inch of her body. What...what did he say? She couldn't even process things correctly as he pulled away from her embrace. "Jongin...-" She began to plead, but he told her he'd send her a check. A check. With that, he was off. Turned a heal without a glance back. She couldn't think straight...she felt sick...what...

Her mind was completely scattered. Did he, what? There was no way he didn't recognize her voice...they had been together for years, always by each other sides. He never met her? Taeyeon couldn't grasp that concept. She could never forget him. Did he...her head was too big for her bridges. Taeyeon couldn't help but stifle a weak laugh through the silent tears - she had gone into this the wrong way. Here she was...thinking he missed her as much as she missed him...when in reality...he didn't even want to know her anymore. He'd rather act as if they didn't spend all those hours together...like he didn't do what he had for her. No one else would have ever done that...but him...she owed her everything to him.

She did though, give him nothing. Defeated, at level zero, Taeyeon crumbled over to the wall and slid down it without no enthusiasm whatsoever. Her expression was blank - her heart was ripped out. If she had wanted anyone to accept her, it was Jongin. Should she have ran after him, forced him to hear her, to be in her presence? Taeyeon kicked her legs out as she pressed her head against the wall and let her lids fall shut, pushing that many more tears out. She had done him wrong, she really did. Did she have to accept that he was going to be gone, out of her life forever? He'd always be with her though, she would never be able to look in the mirror and not remember that she was still here because of him. She was still here, shrunk on the ground, because of his selfless. "Jongin..." His name slipped her lips as she let her mind run with ideas. How could she reconnect with him? Should she...Her mind and heart were at war.
Kim Jongin 10 years ago
He hesitated. How could he possibly act like as if this was something to not be expected once blindly running into someone else, who is physically the opposite from him. They're not vision-less, they're able to see things he couldn't see anymore, and more importantly they have more rights to accuse him, rather than his ridiculous apologies. But Jongin knew better than he should to be wasting his breath. Arguing wasn't worth his time and he just knew that if he didn't cut straight to the case than real trouble will come looking for him. "Miss I will take full responsibility and pay you ba- Jongin trailed off.

If he didn't hear wrong, the name that he'd just heard, was a name he hasn't heard of for a long time now, until - today. "..Taeyeon." Repeats after her Jongin felt completely frustrated and stunned. There were words left unspoken, but he couldn't spill it, everything was just slamming into him so fast he's totally lost into thoughts, and this moment was one of them.

Again, just like before - Jongin ended up hearing a crying Taeyeon. Her cries and tears were what bruised him most, leaving several scars left un-removed over his wounded heart. She out of all people was the only one who could cause Jongin to lose himself in defeat and feel completely emotional. Just as she swirled into Jongin's arms without giving him a sigh or warning, unlike the hugs he use to share with her. This time - Jongin for some-what of a reason refuses to circle his arms around her. Unable to handle the new sensation of a 'hurting' feeling built up inside, it was him who pulled away.

"I'm sorry, I don't think I've ever came across anyone who's name Taeyeon," that tears him. Jongin told the women of his life a total lie. He gave her a lie she never was suppose to believe, but he didn't know why he did it. He didn't know why it would even escape from his lips, when it was only just a phrase that'd existed in his head.

Stepping aside Jongin gave her a mannerable bow, "i'll send you a check tomorrow. The price to pay your cellphone injuries." That was all. He didn't say anymore but turned his heel and made his way further and further away. Jongin could hear the confusion flooded with the tears streaming down Taeyeon's angelic angel cheeks; he had no other option though. It was clear now, Jongin didn't reject her off like this because he wanted to part away from her - but because he wasn't perfect enough for her. Taeyeon deserve someone who could actually afford to make her smile; and him - he's not even worth her time.

(Oh my god your writing is gorgeous - i am running out of time within school too, so i'm on mobile 98% of the time. forgive me for typo's or mistakes; i've tried darling).
Kim Taeyeon [A] 10 years ago
It was her fault he had those glasses on. It was because of her, on the very same day when she got tormented by her 'superior' was the same day...he got shot. It was all because of her. Could he see what he looked now? Did he realize how handsome he become? Did he know his features? His defined cheek bones...those full lips, that gentle face? ...How could he...she took away his vision.

Her eyes began to tear up without consent as her heart tore itself apart. She had no more control as she threw herself at him. Into his embrace...into his smell. She inhaled deeply as she buried her head into his chest. Out of everyone she left, her heart had never felt so...broken...other than when she thought of him. She latched on now, feeling as if she never wanted to let go again. "It's me, Taeyeon." She muttered, knowing that her words could be nothing more than mumbles. She didn't care though - she didn't re-track from his embrace.

She wasn't thinking clearly though - he very well could hate her now. He could absolutely hate her for what had happen to him...and now that time passed...and she left him...how could she leave him...he certainly could despise her her very soul. She hadn't a clue where or not she really should have been latching onto him...despite what her heart told her.

@Kim Jongin (You did ten times better than me on mobile xD)

It was a strange thing, really, how you could leave for three years but from the moment you came back...it was like you had never once stepped outside of this city. At least, that is what her family has been telling her that's how she would feel soon enough. They claimed that'd she'd fall back into line and pick up right from where she left off. It was easier said than done, of course. As time continued on and each day slowly inched by, she began to wonder if they were ever going to be right. Would she ever feel the way she did before? It seemed since the moment she had been back she couldn't help but feel as if her trip was all so surreal...all so foreign. Did she really live in the States? Did she really give this all up just to be with someone, who in the end, cheated on her only a few weeks before their wedding? She swallowed hard as she hung her head. That idiotic move weighed heavily on her petite shoulders. She had so much here to strive for, she had so many people here she cared about...and she had dropped everything, like a fool. She had been away for so long that even though she knew every street name, every shop, and most of the residents here, she couldn't help but feel like a foreigner...She wished this be her home again, faster. She wished the wise words of her elders could be true already.

However, she knew mulling over what she had done wasn't going to help. She tried over and over again to put a block on those thoughts but they were always reignited with every passing childhood friend, cousin, and acquaintance that she encountered once again. They all had changed. She pondered to herself as her legs mindlessly lead her anyway they pleased, did she change as well? She was grown, she knew that. Her body was more defined than before and her baby cheeks were no where to be found. She even enjoyed putting in some colored contacts now and then as she had fallen madly in love with American eyes - all different shapes and colors that she now mimicked the style even though it was completely un-natural.

Maybe that was the explanation; despite being the same ethnicity as everyone else in this city, she was being stared at relentlessly as she ventured down the streets as she had many times before - even the elders couldn't resist gawking. It wasn't that she was extremely pretty (at least, in her opinion, she wasn't) but she did not fit the image of 'Asian.' Blonde, with sea foam colored eyes, and pale skin as if she had never seen a day in the sun. That wasn't what popped up when you even mentioned the word, Asian, or more specifically, Korean. In a odd way, though, she hoped it was her image that caused people to lock onto her figure. They were staring until they burned a hole into her chest. The curiosity of the strangers about her style was much better, however, than someone being able to point at her and informing the crowd: "Ah. That girl is completely clueless. I heard about her she left for some boy. What a fool."

She really need to stop thinking like that. She wasn't a fool, she just had followed her heart... 'Look where that got you.' She scolded as Taeyeon felt herself shrink. She should have stayed here...if not for anything else than the people she loved and cared about...after the things she did to them...

Her mind was ripped from it's consuming thoughts as someone brushed her shoulder, causing her phone that she had been grasping in her hand to slip right from her fingers. "Sorry, let me get it for you." Without much thought, she denied the stranger and dropped down to her knees to retrieve it. "Aniyo, don't worry. It's..." Her voice drew out to a slow pause as she flipped her phone over and saw that a spider web crack now decorated the front of her phone. Her heart dropped as she examined it in disbelief...Her phone, like to most other people, was her baby. A expensive baby.

"It's cracked." She blurted out without much thought before she rose from the ground to meet the strangers eyes only to find not only where those eyes covered by the darkest shades known to all man kind, but that voice...how did she not recognize that voice? She had come to love and hate it at the same time...every time he spoke, her mind couldn't help but torment her and tell her it was her fault this happened to him.

Jongin shares a little cough within the cool wind as he slowly absorbs in the new oxygen, laid back by the coldness that he's able to feel running through his soul. Buried with the coat he wore, Jongin had his hands tucked in nicely in his side pockets and a mask over his mouth to keep his nose from coloring red, a little accessories added, he had on dark shades. Jongin's eyes weren't technically in work, and that didn't bother him though. Ever since he lost his vision, it doesn't mean it was the end of the world to him. Yes, the pain took over him completely - but he knew well enough to bare through, no matter how much it wounded him to do so, it was worth his try.

(Past)
"Taeyeon!" Jumping infront of the female, just right in time to block the bullet from entering her, Jongin shoved her to the side and at the same moment his eyes came in contact with the bullet. The feeling felted like a thousand daggers of knifes cutting him over and over, the unbare-able took him to a whole new different level. A pain he's never felt before, yet felt kinda satisfied he'd experienced it well. Now he understands the difference between pain of being injured, and pain of having to fall in love so deeply it causes a heart break. Most would tell others to follow their hearts, but Jongin would always ask himself 'could it be possible?' but he doesn't know nor he's not planning to know it either. But from that second on, his last image of her angelic face, were tears streaming down her cheeks; desperate to cure his wound, yet knows truly to herself that it would never happen. Not at all.

(end)

Walking alone quietly to himself, Jongin couldn't see yet he sense the direction of where he needed to go. Even if he's blind and seemed hopeless, Jongin knew his home town well enough - seeing nothing but pure darkness, ain't gonna stop him from living and moving on with his life. Even deaf wouldn't be a problem.

Passing by other people whom may or maybe find Jongin quite awkward, didn't came to be such a big deal. It happen on and off so often, it just washes right over him like the waves of the ocean to the sore. "Did you hear? Someone just move back in town, I heard she was also really pretty." Not that he purposely tried to listen to gossips; but it happen so much he tends to hear rumor's that doesn't even have anything to do with him nor concern for his care. But this time Jongin pauses behind the gossiping group of gentleman's and listen to more of their conversations. A pretty women is moving back? The very first smile that popped in his head was 'her' Kim Taeyeon. She may not be whom these men probably were referring too, yet Jongin isn't sure why he would think it'd be her. Seoul is a huge city of tons and millions of asians. There is no way it'd be her. Jongin just slowly shook his head as he pushes away all the memories he has left of her and continue to walk again once more. Jongin could tell that it was a little foolish for him to be liking someone, but he also couldn't help himself. It was natural within human beings and he was one of the chosen one to be carried along its train.

"Could it be her?" Jongin wander to himself. Still curious, yet is unknown to the feeling. Before they were only strangers, and than they've become neighbors, then she moved away after the incident. Jongin was just kept himself busy from it all so that he wouldn't have to worry about his heart burning in flames of fire, especially if he knows it'll hurt. Suddenly for the first time in such a long time - Jongin felt his shoulder knocking into another shoulder. A much more softer, yet feminine one. He must've stumble into a women just now. At the same time the sound of probably a cellphone fell crashing down onto the brick side walk. _____. How is he going to repay this person if it'd broke?

"Sorry, let me get it for you."

(sorry i'm on mobile so my writing is a little off and messy, forgive me bae).
Kim Taeyeon [A] 10 years ago
@Kim Jongin (Past) Her blond locks were thrown into a messy bun and her hands were buried deep within her jacket's cotton pockets as a gust came and chilled her skin. She couldn't control herself as a shiver shook her body and her breath was became visible against the black back drop that consumed the skyline. It was a lonely stroll home. One she probably shouldn't have been risking, as she was only a 19 year old girl. No matter what, she'd let fate decided - it wasn't like she hadn't before.

Tonight was different, however. No, she took that back. It was more like this whole week...every trip she took, she was on edge. A girl she wasn't terribly fond of was poking and prodding Taeyeon about what exactly she would do if she was to get mugged. She was going into more and more detail each day they saw each other. What would you do if they took your purse? What about if they pulled a knife? Questions no sane human would ask her. Of course, questions she never really answered. She had no reason to. She wouldn't feed into that sick imagination.

It was like the other knew that would get underneath Taeyeon's skin and bother her the entire way home. She was, after all, one of the few who still had no choice but to walk at midnight while most would hop onto a bus. She lived so close though from the center of everything, Seoul itself, she saw no reason to join the others on that eerie ride. So for now, as she plugged her ear buds into her lobes, she would take the way she always did home.

(I tried, let me know what needs to change xD)

This was my first ever roleplay back in 2011; well when it was on aff. This role play was a crazy bat--drama-loving family. I was one of the first to join too. Ah, those were the good ol' days, when we barely knew how to role play. ;; such great memories.
