Apartments

When you live on your own as a grown adult, things don't instantly come to you. Neither do houses for the most part. Almost all young adults begin their adventure in apartments - where most of us will start to. The more points you get, you can upgrade..but for now, houses cost 1000 points. Do you have what it takes? Having someone mention you in applications helps a ton when you want to reach the top - and fast. Even getting a dog is 500 points! Will you be a known pet owner? Ask for prices on things!

@Jung Krystal "Hey in this world, flattery isn't such a bad thing. " Just as if she was a animated character, she stuck one finger out and pointed it at Krystal with a wide cheesy grin. She wasn't trying to disagree with her at all - maybe because Taeyeon enjoyed flattery and often shared her love of just about everything with everyone else. Including whoever she was talking to. Because in reality, Krystal wasn't that bad.

"Arasso if you're going to be Blair, which hey by the way, good pick-" She paused as she recoiled her finger and pretended to be in deep thought, even going to the extent of tapping her chin before her smile only grew that much more. "Could I be Chad? I could get all the ladies then. And everyone will want to be my friend." She joked with a confident nodding of the head. "Or maybe Serena, since she is a girl and all." It only took a split second before she changed her mind about being a dude and having the ability to pee anywhere. Which, in light of this, made her chuckle. Ah, that was kind of blowing her mind they were having this conversation. Who knew, right? Krystal seemed to be just as genuine as everyone else despite having a title ....She should have known better than to judge a book by it's cover especially when it used to be hers.

Taeyeon had listened with interest about the clothing company, almost eager to see what Krystal could do at this very moment. You don't just do those things without being some what knowledgeable so it was a curious thing... "I could try but don't let me do the book keeping or anything like that.
One more we'll lose a thousand dollars because I punched in one extra zero." Joke after joke, it was all Taeyeon knew. Hopefully it wouldn't become burdensome to the other, she did mean no harm. On a more serious note, though...

"You should show me a few pieces sometime. And I hope I didn't hold you up." Taeyeon gestured to the apartment door with a sheepish grin. "I kind of attacked outside your apartment.l

Taeyeon couldn't help but let a laugh escape from her lips as well as Krystal played along with Tae's own style of craziness...which resulted in a confused expression across her dongsaengs face. Introducing yourself halfway through a conversation was quite odd, she was aware. But she was thankful Krystal didn't make it a point to make it awkward. "It's nice to actually meet you and not just hear about the blog Queen." She let a grin consume her face, pleased that the tension seemed to be melting away with each passing second.

"But yes, a little J or Blair would be better, pick your poison." She said with a soft chuckle, because in reality, both of those two were tolerable than the low life Dan and not really toxic at all... And honestly, Krystal fit the picture for one of those two much, much better. Plus, it was rather obvious just how naturally elegant and mature she was. It came with the title of Seoul's girl. And the more they talked, the more Krystal's personality began to blossom...at least, that was what vibe Taeyeon was getting.

"You're going to start your own business? If I'm not sagging, would you let me try to model a few things? Or maybe I can just answer phones." She joked as she listened, rather impressed at the young girls aspirations. "Ah, would you do colors as well? Is it going to be more revealing, or, any kind of theme? I mean, if you don't mind sharing." She cautiously added - she didn't want to overstep her limits. After all, they did just really meet. "If it makes you feel better, I'm not going to steal your ideas. I can't really do any of that...not if my life depended on it." The blunt truth. Oh, how she lacked in so many fields.

It took her a moment - Taeyeon wasn't terribly good at processing everything in such a manner that she could just retort right after Krystal finished speaking. Her mind had to mull over things and as it did, she couldn't help but feel somewhat spiteful. She was standing here, in front of a girl who, just by chance, was three years younger than her and she had taken a indirect stab at her by calling her Dan from Gossip Girl. It wasn't like her. That wasn't even like her when she was 'Queen Bee'.

She shifted and spun her hand around in a circle as failed her in her explanation. "Well, I mean you belong in the fashion world, not like Dan where he didn't belong I mean look at your outfit..." Her hands worked without her mind as she gestured to what could be taken as a signature look right from the runway. However, at that instance, she realized how spacey she probably seemed as she cleared and tried to change the topic to something else - which worked, for the most part.

"College is a smart move. See I just picked up without much...You know, but if you wait, you can save for school, and it'll be better." Aigoo, this conversation wasn't getting better. She could hear herself tripping over her own feet, trying to pick up the pieces and actually make a conversation instead of being completely aloof.

But what if this was all in her head and Krystal thought this girl was literally just losing her mind?? After all, she did tend to over think EVERYTHING. All she needed to do, was breath. She took a split second of a pause before Taeyeon released the tension and spoke honestly. Instead of trying to be the top girl Taeyeon assumed Krystal probably thought she was, she tried to be a little less up time and more herself. "Of course I heard about your blog, you seem to be one of the best writers in town. It'd be easier if you stayed here and became big off of that instead of going to the states, there is just so much competition, you never know though. I'm sure you could naturally just be better, especially since you already got a name for yourself here and your only 19. You'd meet more fashion designers and they might even ask you to review for them. I just went on a whim. I'm sure you'll be smarter than that and besides, you can make full sentences and I can't usually get past the third word without changing topics."

She cracked a smile at herself and shrugged her shoulders as if she hadn't a clue to stop it. "Listen, I'm sorry for stopping you. I should have introduce myself properly. I am Taeyeon, nice to meet you."

Krystal's voice, as excepted from the Queen, was smooth and charming even to another girl such as herself...however her mind couldn't help but hear the words as if they were spat out of Zing Bot himself. It's been a long time. Of course it has, 3 years to be exact. Did she have to be reminded of her stupid decision? Which, obviously, everyone knew was rash and ill planned...since she already had returned home. Her expression turned bitter as her mind dance from idea to idea within seconds...and there was no pretending that the corners of her lip didn't fall.

She inhaled deeply, trying to compose her jumbled mind, as she met the girl's deep brown orbs and flashed her the most forced smile of the century. She couldn't be mean - it wasn't in her nature. However stiff and tense wasn't much better. "Yes, I missed Seoul. You should learn from your unnies..mistake and just stay here. Plus, you have a blog right?"

Taeyeon inquired to something she already knew the answer to - which was why there was only a second pause before she resumed speaking. "Blogging in other countries is hard. It's easier in Seoul. You should stay where you have a name." Her words could be twisted and turned in a variety of ways, that she knew. She would leave it to Krystal's mind to determine what exactly she meant. She need not to explain herself to her younger...prettier...and honestly, replacement.

It was like in the movies. Beauty fades. And as it does, someone younger and prettier always comes for your throne. It was no different now. She heard about Krystal - more breath taking than most idols. With a skill that couldn't really be taught. Writing...something Taeyeon yearned to be able to do as naturally as Krystal. Even though she hadn't exactly looked into her blog...only heard bits and pieces from people she encountered since she had come back.

She shifted for a moment as a thought spurred in her head and slipped out her lips, without her permission. "So, you're kind of like Dan from Gossip Girls, right?" Why, oh why, did she bring a American drama into the picture?

@Jung Krystal Most people her age started off here...right? ...Or, that is what she told herself. She technically, unlike most of other people who lodged here, wasn't a teenager and she wasn't starting off for the first time. She's done this song and dance before...but over seas. Ah, what possessed her to do so? Her heart jolted and she swallowed hard - she knew exactly what she had left her home for. To join another land, with new people and new locations...for one special person.

She was back now though...dropped off exactly where she had left off. In her little apartment next to a couple of random strangers that she'd probably never bother to get to know. Who likes being friendly with strangers anyway? What if they were creeps, what if they would murder her?

Well, that was kind of taking it too far...but still! She didn't trust many people and she certainly, like most others, wouldn't put herself out in the open if she didn't have to. Everyone was more comfortable within their little clans and that's how they liked it. It was rather sad though that her 'clan' so to speak, was nowhere to be found.

However...as Taeyeon emerged from her little dinky apartment she found that even though old friends were gone, some people apparently haven't left town yet. Jung Krystal, would be one of those people. Taeyeon couldn't help but blink twice as she saw the familiar figure come strutting down the hall, head held high. Of course, if you looked like her, you had no reason to be shy...not that was the point.

She swallowed hard as her mind rattled and reminded her of the approaching 'Queen Bee' of Seoul. She stole her gaze away, locked her door, and mentally chanted to herself...It doesn't matter who she is, she's just a person, like everyone else.

But we all know how far that kind of pep talk takes you - not farther than a few inches. Her feet, did, however, take her further as she gathered her courage and walked towards the girl who took her spot.

This was my first ever roleplay back in 2011; well when it was on aff. This role play was a crazy bat--drama-loving family. I was one of the first to join too. Ah, those were the good ol' days, when we barely knew how to role play. ;; such great memories.
