@♕ Princess Mina He didn't mind the crowd that surrounded them, but he could see the Royals in the corner of his eyes as they watch them. It was fine with him because he was used to getting crowded at, but he did worry about the Princess who might run away because of shyness. He was a bit stunned at her question but he held it in, he didn't like the word 'picking up' and if she was just another girl who said that, he might have explode into anger. He did felt great that she was at least a bit curious about him but not those questions. Chris gave her a confident smile, "I wouldn't call it 'picking up' if I were you, Princess. It is true that I enjoy their company because they are girls, who doesn't enjoy it?" He chuckled a bit before continuing while looking at her. "But I don't 'pick up' girls." He went dead serious while emphasizing the word 'pick up'.
@★ Chris Pine She smiled at him, shaking her head. “I'm a princess, Chris, I would never do that.” She told him, gently moving to the music. Even though she wasn't as amazed by him as others were, she still came to enjoy the company of a man. She could see her parents sitting on their thrones, watching her out of hopeful eyes. She was the only child that made them worry so much, and she guessed they enjoyed seeing her behaving so normal- normal for a princess, that was. But it wasn't only her parents watching them. The whole crowd had created a circle around them, watching in awe as they moved over the dance floor, not believing the Princess actually danced. “We're being watched,” she told him, chuckling. For some reason, she didn't even feel uncomfortable. It seemed that as long as Chris and she danced, everything was okay. She didn't need to hide behind her shy facade. She was a Princess, and she loved behaving like one. “I know you,” she proceeded to tell him, smile on her face. “You're known for picking up women and enjoying yourself with them. Is that true?” She asked curiously.
@♕ Princess Mina During that time, Chris felt like the happiest man, he can finally prove to the
people around him that he had a chance to dance with Princess Mina, a lot
of people said no one dared to ask her afraid of getting rejected, by that he
felt superior to them. He had that idiot grin when he led her to the dance floor.
"Surely you won't step on my foot now, will you Princess?" He said still smiling
at her. His hand was on her waist, moving along to the song. He can feel eyes
staring at them. Who would even knew? He thought to himself.
@★ Chris Pine Mina shivered at the closeness. Even though she wasn't particularly interested in him, she still was a girl, and feeling a male's breath so close to her skin did make her legs shake. She tried to keep a straight face, which didn't really work in that exact moment- she didn't even know what to say- when he brought back the distance. She was more than happy to have the air around her for herself. He was far away enough for her to breath normally, and for her legs to stop feeling like jelly. “With me?” She asked, putting a hand onto her chest and chuckled. “I guess 'I can't dance' will not be an acceptable excuse for a Princess, will it?” She sighed, reached out her hand for him to take and agreed. “Fine, /Chris/,” she stressed his name, showing him that she was listening when he was talking, “One dance.” Mina held up one finger, and waited for him to take her to the dance floor. At least dancing was something she liked doing, she thought as she let the music take control of her movements.
@♕Princess Mina He examined her face for quiet awhile, she was indeed beautiful. He chuckled as to what she says and glances at the ladies, they were having these bright smiles, no luck for you girls, he said to himself before looking back at Mina. "Please, call me Chris, dear Princess." He chuckled softly before shaking his head. "And sad to say but I'd rather stay here than to dance with them." He leaned in closer to whisper on her ear, "Also, my feet will only hurt by dancing a bunch of ladies whom I can't even remember their names." He stood up straight again, he knew he was being cocky, but he was being honest. "But being honest here, I'd rather have a dance with you."
@★ Chris Pine “Pleasure,” she said when he introduced himself, and smiled at him the sweetest smile she could bring up, and noticed her sister observing them from a corner, giving her thumbs up. Mina would have almost rolled her eyes, but remembered her duties of being a Princess and went back to smiling at Chris. “Oh, no, Mr. Pine, everything is alright. I'm just not the type for parties like that. I usually have to take my time to warm up. Thanks for worrying, but there really is no need to,” she told him, and a glimpse of hope arose inside of her; hope that he could go away. Which he didn't. He still was standing in front of her, and her sister was still observing them. And as she was a nice, friendly, and polite Princess, she couldn't just tell him to go. “Are you enjoying yourself, Mr. Pine?” She asked, pointing at a group of girls in beautiful gowns who were observing him. “I think those women are waiting for you to ask them for a dance,” she hinted, still smiling, her back still straightened and her smile still feeling fake.
@♕Princess Mina He bowed and met her eyes when he straighten up. "Chris Pine, princess." He smiled again at her, he thought that
she would be difficult to approach with unlike her sister whom he had met already at several balls. "I couldn't seem
to notice that you've been quiet throughout this whole time. Is something bothering you?" He couldn't help buy ask, she had such beauty but she didn't seemed to notice, in which Chris did. And as a possessive person he is known for, he will try to do something to make her change.
@★ Chris Pine And he did approach her. Mina's hands shivered a little, for she didn't like strangers talking to her. However, she had learned how to deal with situations like that. She raised her chin, straightened her back, and put on a smile. It clearly was fake, but a smile was a smile- at least for Mina. She observed the smile on his face, and a small frown was visible on her face. This smile looked too charming to be real. What was he here for? As he raised her voice, and stood there right before her, she could definitely understand why her sister had a picture of him hanging in her room. She could understand it, but wouldn't do the same. “Yes, that's right,” she answered, and lightly bowed in front of him. “And who am I having the pleasure with?” She asked, even though she already knew the answer, it was just normal for a Princess not to know the conversation partner if he wasn't royal himself.
@♕Princess Mina As the party started right from the start, his eyes were everywhere, observing the people around him, but that was when the princesses and princes came, he observed them as they enter, they all had beautiful features making him realize that they were truly royal blooded. One of the princesses caught his eyes, she was being quiet and that made him curious, for him usually a princess likes to talk a lot but this one was different from what he was expecting. Throughout the whole event, he couldn't take his eyes off of her, no matter how much he tried to divert his attention into something else, his eyes would only go back into staring at her. Chris has finally then decided to approach the young lady with a goal that he can nailed it. He went over her with a smile plastered on his face. "Princess Mina, am I correct?" He looked at her while waiting for her answer.
@★ Chris Pine Visitors, again. Mina rolled her eyes as she was sitting in front of the mirror, letting her maids dress her up, do her hair, and her make up. The dress was beautiful, the maids once again had outdone themselves- the silky blue fabric was cooling her, and the added diamonds made it look like the night sky. They didn't put on too much make-up, knowing she preferred looking natural, and partly put her hair up, but still laid beautiful curls over her shoulder. Once they were done, Mina didn't recognize herself. She always was surprised by how pretty she could be. She hugged her mads and thanked them for everything, letting them rest for now. The party would start in a bit, but as the Princess, she'd only enter once everybody was present already- alongside her parents and siblings. She was thankful for having them, since Krystal would look even more beautiful than her, and draw all the males' eyes on her, and Yifan and Kai would look so breathtakingly handsome that all the girls would be taken aback by them. Nothing to fear for Mina.
Or so she thought. The whole evening, she had a weird feeling in her stomach, as if somebody was watching her. She already was used to feeling uncomfortable in crowds, but this feeling was different. The whole evening she was standing by the windows, looking around the hall to make out whether or not she was watched. So far, she hadn't spotted anybody.
That was, until her eyes met those of a handsome man, who she remembered to be Chris Pine. She had forgotten what he was famous for, but knew he was. And she knew about the rumors about him. She narrowed her eyes and avoided his gaze. There was no way he could have been observing her, not with Krystal next to her. She started playing with her dress' fabric, and prayed he wouldn't approach her.
