Town Square

@Park Kyungri Various faces whooshed by as Hongbin quickly zigzagged between people to find that mysterious person. It wasn't as easy as everyone made it seem, but he was probably just too focused or clumsy to weave through like water.

Finally, he came across an opening in the sidewalk, as if everyone decided to give him some room (which he was thankful for). He searched the crowd, attempting to pick out a face, but everyone moved so fast or so slowly that it was difficult for him. Probably seeming like a schizophrenic, Hongbin's forehead creased, recalling details about the phantom he saw... or imagined.

His thoughts were yanked back to earth as a strange feeling rose in his chest, a fluttery adrenaline rush filling his veins. Why was he so excited? As if time slowed to give him a nudge, he noticed the very ghost passing him. A girl, he could see this time, and a strange knot in his chest urged him to follow her for she was someone he needed to talk to.

Following his instincts, he whipped around and gave chase, keeping his sights on her back. Anxious, Hongbin reached out for her arm, "Hey."

@Lee Hongbin If there was one thing that Kyungri loved the most about the town was its holiday spirit. When it was Halloween, many cafes and restaurants replaced their menus with something more Halloween themed; it was the same for this Christmas, and probably any other holiday they celebrated. But sometimes it got very tiring, especially considering Halloween was more along the lines of Hallowmonth. So once November rolled over, she was excited to be able to go out and buy something new without being in close vicinity with 'y bacon' or 'y bubblegum' costumes.

It was an understatement to say that Kyungri was very sorely disappointed when she found herself in the midst of christmas carols and bombarded with green and red. It wasn't even December yet. Was one month of normalcy in between two months of festive spirit too much to ask for? She had already heard Jingle Bells sixty times in a row and she's only been out for an hour or so.

Then again she wouldn't be so bitter about holidays this time around had she gotten the chance to dress up and get herself some nice Halloween candy.

Too Kyungri's dismay, she had slowly found the holiday spirit within her and was about to head over a restaurant for dinner. It was difficult trying to squeeze by everyone, but she managed eventually, only to be distracted by what seemed like someone following her. It was odd considering how nice all the residents have been; she couldn't imagine any of them trying to harm her in any way. She figured that she was being paranoid and went on her way, but she couldn't help stopping and looking back several times anyway.

It was an incredible sight; the lights that seemed ever so Christmasy, the people conversing so idly and cheerfully, the aura that seemed so warming and welcoming. The town seemed to have embodied the spirit of the ever-so-friendly holiday. Ah, but was it Christmas now? The last he checked, autumn had only just begun.
Regardless, Hongbin wandered the square, window shopping and visiting the library and whatnot. It still amazed him how each and every person he encountered spoke to him so friendly-like and casually, as if they'd all grown up together in the cozy little town. Of course, he'd smile politely back at all of them and attempted to follow along with whatever topic they brought up.
But as he continued to explore the area, there was a silhouette amongst the crowd that seemed to have beckoned him. Hongbin eyed the person, unable to tell if they were female or male or if they were familiar in any way. The figure disappeared after another stranger passed through his field of vision, and quickly, Hongbin followed them, curious as to who or what might this feeling was.
