@song jieun "if it's fun then I'm in for it." Chorong said, giggling softly. "eight minutes?" Chorong repeated, tilting her head slightly. "can I go to your house then after my shift?" she asked, looking at jieun hopefully.
@park chorong "Yea, sure. I can teach you. My style of studying is different. You do need to read books, but if you just read it, it wouldn't be fun of course." she shrugged her shoulders. Jieun tilted her head in thoughts before shaking her head. "I don't think so. It's around eight minutes from here." she nodded.
@song jieun "really? your willing to teac me? cuz my grades . alot." chorong said with a pout. "if i am supposed to study by reading, i'll fall asleep even before i can get through the first page." she said, laughing. "is your house far from here though?" she asked.
@park chorong Jieun blinked and shrugged her shoulders. "Drawing is easy. You just need to draw out what's in your mind." she said. "I'll show you later." she nodded with a small smile. "Why can't you? You just need to study. It's like reading a book." Jieun muttered; blinking her eyes. "I heard a lot of people saying they can't study. Studying was hard for me at first but I got over it. I can teach you if you want."
@song jieun "oh you can draw? i cant draw at all so....my drawings kinda . i would like to see your drawings sometime!"chorong said, clapping happily. "wow, youre such a hardworking girl, if i needed to study at the library or something, i dont think i can do it." chorong said with a giggle.
@park chorong Jieun blinked and nodded. "If I feel like studying, I would go to the library. If not, I'll just go back home." she shrugged her shoulders lightly. "I draw a lot at home. Maybe I can show you my drawings sometimes." Jieun smiled slightly; nodding her head.
@song jieun "oh, i mean maybe during my holidays or at school maybe?" chorong said. "smile~" she added and laughed. "where do you normally go after school?"she asked, leaning back on her chair.
@park chorong Jieun nodded with a smile and finished her drink. "Thanks, Chorong." she blinked at her, her smile disappearing again. "Hangout? Aren't you supposed to be working?" she raised her brows and tilted her head slightly.
@song jieun "that's right, you should probably smile more like that," chorong said, giggling. "yes you woud be a good friend~" she said. "hm...i'm thinking where should we hangout now...." she tapped her chin, and laughed.
@park chorong Jieun blinked and tried to remember her words well; she really missed out a lot about the world- she thought. "Hm, thanks for advising me, Chorong." Jieun's lips slowly quirked into a smile and she nodded at her. "I hope I will be a good friend."
she added before her smile widened.
@song jieun chorong smiled. "having one friend can bring you lots of friend in the future~ just believe in yourself." she said, finishing her drink. "i wont ignore you though, i'm sure you'll turn out to be a good friend." she said with a smile."you might have a lot of new friends soon though,"she added with a wink.
@park chorong "Well," Jieun blinked and averted her eyes in hesitance. "I'm not sure if I can be a good friend. I might be a burden to you. Thus, I'm not the type to actually talk about things. You'll feel awkward with me." she looked at Chorong. "No, you're not weird. It's more like I'm the weird girl." Jieun told her; raising her brows. She sipped from her drink before she sighed silently. "Well, maybe we can be friends but you can ignore me if you don't feel like it anymore." Jieun told her.
@song jieun "then.....can i be your first friend then?" chorong said, giggling softly. "i'm sorry if that actually freaked you out. it's just like that with me, i asked if i could be someone's friend, then poof! friendship is made." she said, laughing now. "i might be weird but i don't bite kay?" she told jieun, thinking that she might thought of chorong as some weird girl now.
@park chorong After a few minutes of reading her book, Jieun looked up as Chorong sat back across her. Jieun tried to smile a bit and sat up; setting her book aside. She blinked at the question and simply shook her head. "No, I've never had one." Jieun answered. "I've met people but I don't really get close to them. I feel weird when I do." she frowned slightly, tilting her head.
@song jieun after chorong finished serving the other customers, she went to the kitchen and brought out a bottle of apple juice. after that, she sat across jieun again. "so where were we just now?" she asked, sipping on her drink. "oh, may i ask you a question? have you ever had any friends?" chorong asked jieun.
@park chorong "Oh." Jieun blinked and frowned slightly at her answer. "Sorry about that." she mumbled. "Oh, okay." she watched as Chorong rushed to the other customers before she looked at the sandwich in her hand. "So we're kinda in the situation." she mumbled to herself before looking at Chorong from afar. "Just that you need money." Jieun sighed and sipped her drink; proceeding to eat her meal.
@song jieun "i get what you're saying~" chorong says, nodding her head. she looked up when she heard the question. "me? i had been working here since i was 14. my parents had died in a car crash that year....and i survived. if i don't work i won't get enough money to have a living..." she said. "please wait for a minute." she said before standing up to get to other customers first.
@park chorong Jieun looked down; thinking. "Well, I am trying to make friends. Though I know a lot of people thinks differently of me but, I think I'll manage. It's just, I don't like to get too close." she nodded; taking a bite from her sandwich. "So, Chorong, how long have you been working here?" Jieun slightly frowned and looked around.
@song jieun "of course having friends would not be bad! but it depends on which type of friends you have. if you got on of those types.....then your friends could turn out to be the person you hate most..." chorong said. "i had met a few people like you, but after they tried, they actually got quite a lot of friends." chorong continued. "maybe it wouldn't be so bad to give it a go..?" she said and raised an eyebrow at jieun.
@park chorong Jieun listened and blinked, nodding "Sorry if I seem so. Oh no, I'm not offended, you can say all you want to me." She shrugged her shoulders slightly. "Is it because I don't smile often?" she tilted her head. "It's not that I don't want to talk, I just, I'm not interested to.." she looked away. "But these days I've been thinking, maybe having friends won't be so bad."
@song jieun chorong laughed softly. "yes you do, from far.....you may look like someone who needs peace from like....you know....after some fights or something like that? and the moment when someone talks to you.....you just seemed to need some peace and doesn't want to talk." chorong holds up a hand. "i'm sorry if this is offending you, i'm just saying what i'm thinking. i'm a very straightforward girl, like how my friends said." she said with a smile.
@park chorong Jieun sat up and placed her book aside as Chorong arrived with a tray of her orders. "Thanks, Chorong." she nodded at her as she placed the tray on the table. Jieun blinked as she sat across the table before she sipped from her drink. "Hm?" she raised her brows her Chorong's question. Thinking she was just curious, Jieun answered her, "Because I study there and read books. Oh, not really. I'm not a shy person, but, do I seem like one?" she tilted her head, looking at Chorong.
@song jieun chorong got the everything that jieun had ordered. she put them on a tray and took it to her table. she placed the drink and the sandwich on jieun's table. chorong looked around and saw no new customers so she sat across jieun. "forgive me for asking, but may i know why do you always seem to go to the library? are you shy to make friends actually?" chorong asked.
@park chorong "Smile?" Jieun blinked and nodded; trying to note it in her head. How can she never thought before, of course people liked to see smiles. "It's fine, I'll take that as an advice." she nodded before Chorong headed off to the kitchen and Jieun was left alone with her thoughts. She never really had the reason to smile; her life was just so bland and empty. A sigh escaped before she took out a book from her bag for her to read. Maybe she should try to smile more.
@song jieun chorong laughed softly. "you should really smile more though, i'm sure you can get more friends with just one smile.. ?" she said. "i'm sorry if i kinda freaked you out, i'm weird, my friends used to say that to me." she laughed softly again. "anyway, i'll get your drink and also your sandwich?" she said before heading off to the kitchen to get those things.
@park chorong "Friends?" Jieun repeated and she blinked; thinking back of what she had thought before. She did planned to make friends but she was just so not good at being a friend. Jieun looked up at her and nodded "So your name is Park Chorong?" she smiles slightly though not noticeable before speaking, "My name is Song Jieun. It's nice to meet you, Chorong." she said. She slightly frown, worried if she might speak wrongly and scare the girl. Jieun was so not confident in talking to people and she mentally scolded herself for that.
@song jieun "i see, but i think you should get to know more friends ne? sometimes you might really need friends," chorong said. "i'm chorong, park chorong." she said with a smile. "how about you? what is your name?" chorong asked.
@park chorong She sat silently as she listened to her talk. "I see everyone at the cafeteria. I guess you are then. But I rarely go there now, I spend most of my time at the library." Jieun mumbled. "Well, you should go now, I'm getting thirsty." she told her. "But if I may ask, what is your name?" Jieun raised her brows and looked up at the girl. Well, she could at least try to get to know her since Jieun would probably spend more time at the cafe from now.
@song jieun "yes, we are schoolmates then," chorong said with a smile. "i think i had seen you...." chorong pauses for a while to think. "oh, at the cafeteria right?" she asked. she had seen this girl before, as she was also known as the 'cold' girl, but in chorong's opinion she is just shy to talk to others. there's nothing wrong with that. most of chorong's friends had known her by her 'cold' personality, but chorong never really known her.
@park chorong Jieun smiled slightly and nodded, "Now I'm sure, we are schoolmates." she stated. Metanoia High, right?" she looked up at her, raising her brows. She stared at her for a while, thinking. What reason could it be that she was working at a cafe? But then again, it wasn't something bad for a student to work; Jieun once wanted to do a part time job but she didn't trust herself enough to treat customers warmly. People find her being rude and too timid. Though she herself isn't sure about her own personality.
