@kim jiwon Taking deep breaths, Seul leaned against the door, sighing with relief. She was glad Jiwon didn't grow overboard upset like how her own boss did. Stretching her arms out in front of her, she let out a yawn before rubbing her shoulder. "I'm sorry oppa," she begun, still massaging her right shoulder, "I caused a little ruckus at work today," she frowned, then points a finger at the sky, remembering about the money she had earn, she pulled out a white envelope and shoved it towards Jiwon's hands. Although Jiwon might be the guardian of her, Seul offered to help out by earning a bit of money, for both of them to pay equally, for both housing and living. "My boss was a little . . . off today," she nodded to herself before slightly frowning, "and I was held back by his screams," she pouted at the other, hoping that her dear guardian would accept her excuse.
Before she was able to listen to him, she noticed Coco on the living room couch, barking at Seul. "Coco!" she squealed as she quickly scrambled around Jiwon, then rushed towards the little puppy. As she reached halfway towards the puppy, Seul felt a tug on her foot, and landed on the floor. She let out a slight grunt before looking at her foot, her shoes were still untied, - plus, why was she even wearing shoes in the house? 'I should tie it before taking it off! Then I don't have to tie is again tomorrow,' she nodded to herself before grabbing the two strings on her right foot. Sitting on the floor, with Coco rubbing her head against her lap, she struggled with the knot. She tried wrapping it over and over and over, and all she received in return was two strands of shoelace - still untied. Slightly growling with anger, the brown little puppy copied her growl. Losing her attention away from the white converse, she picked up the puppy and grinned at it, rubbing her cheeks against her's. "Coco, it's not nice mocking other people okay! Did you eat yet?" she fluttered her eyes, observing the small dog, completely forgetting the appearance of Jiwon.
Coco hopped out of her hand before running towards the male. "Oh! Oppa, can you tie my shoes for me?" she asked, leaning her head upwards, staring up at the other with slightly wide eyes. "I like how you tie then double knotted," she nodded at him, "i think that's what it's called.'
@park seul At least he'd found Coco. The tiny dog was curled up on top of Jiwon's mattress, deep in a slumber that the young man didn't dare wake it from. However, Seul was nowhere in sight - though it did appear as if she'd been home before he'd gotten there. He jumped to the most simple of assumptions, one that would be obvious. Seul had indeed gone to work for the evening and she'd be home sooner or later, he mused to himself. He told himself repeatedly that there was nothing at all to be concerned about. She was a big girl; Seul was a few years away from being a grown woman and though he wanted to treat her like a kid for the rest of her life, he knew it just wouldn't always be that way.
Jiwon cozied himself up as he waited for her return. He took a shower to pass time and dumped his work uniform into a laundry basket to take down to the laundromat later on. He even decided that it'd be generous of him to at least tidy up a bit, considering he usually left most of his junk around for Seul to worry about. He wasn't exactly the easiest person to live with because of his messy tendencies. The nineteen year old had already filled himself up on a meal of leftover takeout from the night before and watched a couple episodes of one of his series before he realized how late it had become. A few hours had gone by since he came home and Seul hadn't shown nor had she called, which was completely unlike her. She knew very well how protective - even overprotective - Jiwon became at times over her. She came in late sometimes and so did he, but they'd warn each other ahead of time.
It was past midnight and Jiwon was rising up off the sofa, chucking on his shoes and throwing his pullover over his shoulders - Coco wagged her tail near his feet, panting softly as she wondered what he was up to. Just as he prepared to head to the front door, ready to go and get Seul from Taesang's, the door rattled open. He froze in his steps and peeked around the corner curiously. He breathed an inner sigh of relief, eyes falling upon the young girl. He shrugged his hood off his head and came to stand in the hallway, crossing his arms against his chest as he frowned worriedly. Seul looked like she had a long day - even longer than he had. But, either way, he cleared his throat and knitted his eyebrows together. "Seul-ah," he called out firmly. "You should've called at the very least, so I would've known you'd be coming in this late. I was just about to come and get you from work if you hadn't came at this moment." Jiwon waited for her response with a stony expression.
@kim jiwon Laughs and chatters filled up the mini restaurant, as many high school students soon took over the building. They've stopped by to celebrate the wonderful ending of the finals they took today, and Seul just happened to be one of the person - working for her fellow school mates. "Hi, welcome to Taesang's Dining, may I take your order?" she asked while approaching the large table located in the center. Taking and crossing out the orders, Seul managed to quickly scribble down their desired entrees, and quickly rushed back towards the counter. She stamped the orders onto the table, then grabbing the tray of food, she made her way towards the other table.
Panting, Seul helplessly dropped herself onto the chair behind the kitchen, and leaned back. Her shift was pushed even further - pass her own bedtime. As her eyes were about to shut, her name was called loudly, by her boss. "Park Seul!" he screamed, standing in front of her. Immediately, she took a stand, staring up at his face, "Yes, boss?" she asked. "How many times have I told you, look at the papers before you pass out the orders!" The little notebook paper was thrown at her, with all the orders with the table numbers on it. Slightly flinching from the 'confetti', she bowed twice, before repeating the word "Sorry" twice. "We had so many complaints because of you, don't you know this is a five star restaurant?!" He continued on with his lectures, going on for hours.
As soon as the restaurant began to quiet down, so did the boss. Most of the co-workers had left early, due to Seul's mistake, they weren't noticed - to be leaving earlier then usual. "I won't do this again, boss." she nodded, before grabbing her belongings, and heading towards the front door. She put on her coat, then quickly checked her watch, it was pass midnight, and she knew that if she came home, she's going to have to explain her excuses to her 'brother'. In the corner of her eye, she saw her shoelaces, both of them were untied, "Jiwon oppa always ties these for me," she told herself, staring at them. She attempted to ties them correctly - but it didnt work. Groaning, she shoved the shoelaces into her shoes, before quickly sprinting her way home. "Please, please, please, please don't yell at me," Seul begged herself, crossing her fingers as she quickly entered the apartment. Racing up the stares - Seul reached to her destination in no time. 'Please, please, please,' she thought to herself before entering the numbers in the lock. The door opened as she entered.
@park seul Sometimes, work got the best of him and stress was something that wasn’t unfamiliar to him, even at such a young age. Balancing two jobs, in which he barely made much money to support himself, was enough to drive him up a wall at times, when he really sat down and thought about it. But, Jiwon didn’t try to dwell on such negative aspects of life, because he could be doing a lot worse than he already was. He was doing somewhat okay, despite having dropped out of school, just a year prior. School just wasn’t for him, or at least, that was his excuse. But, it did have some upsides to it – school was where he met Seul; she was his inspiration to maybe – someday make something of himself. He’d taken a liking to the younger girl, but in a more platonic way than most – and he found himself doting on her throughout the friendship they had. He enjoyed her company and after a while, he started to look at her just like the younger sister he never had.
It had been some time since Jiwon began living with Seul. If he had to think of it off the top of his head, he couldn’t quite finger how long it’d been since he’d decided that he’d play the role of a brotherly figure in her life. He took the role on completely when she was in the accident that left her with amnesia. He wished that it hadn’t have been sweet Seul of all people. But, he was grateful – it was bittersweet, because her condition brought them closer. Now, on paper, the two were siblings and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
It hadn’t been the best of days, but it hadn’t been the worst of them for Jiwon. Work was uneventful and luckily, he didn’t have to go into his second job for the night. He was free to do whatever he pleased with his evening. Instead of going out, he headed home. The young man made his way into their shared apartment, locking up the front door as he wiped his feet on the tiny floor mat. He glanced around the hall, ears perking up slightly for any noise at all. “Hey, Seul – Coco? I’m home!” called out Jiwon as he slowly eased his way further into the house. He couldn’t remember if Seul had to work that particular evening.
