@Kim Jongin [Kai] [cool]

"Yeah," Sehun followed the others' actions and gathered all his scraps for discarding. Urgh god he was such an eager puppy. Which is actually quite fitting, because the wind would probably be his tail, always an indicator of his emotions. For example right now, it was at a frenzy, from a combination of excitement and nervousness. His figurative tail was ecstatic enough to run a power plant.

"Sorry about the chills," Sehun muttered, utterly defeated in trying to tone his abilities down. His powers were made for destruction, and he could cause as much damage as he wished, but just wasn't gifted with the ability to lessen the wind's intensity. Thus there was a period of time where Sehun practically hulk-trained himself to contain his anger. The effects of a tantrum are absolutely unfathomable, especially now that he was older and probably stronger.

"My ability's never a secret, it's too easily revealed," Sehun tried to ebb some small chat into the silence as they cleaned up after themselves. "Actually, I kind of hate being this transparent. It's embedded in my nature since the wind is translucent itself. I reveal my abilities easily and it reveals my emotions easily. There's not many secrets I have left for special people," Sehun continued to complain as an extension to his apology, feeling like it should be explained. He was also spontaneously deciding it would be a greaaat idea to load strangers with his problems.

Speaking of problems, Jongin didn't look like a problematic kid. He didn't seem like a reject /or/ a freak. Does he like, transform into something gross when the clock strikes twelve for that?
Sehun's definitely going to stick around for that and find out.

@Oh Sehun Jongin's food was basically gone. Not that he had much of a appetite to begin with. His lips curled upwards again and he found himself smiling. It was hard not to when the other's thoughts were so amusing but pleasant. "I think anyone who might be a loner would join a circus." He says with a small chuckle. It seemed like a good place to draw in all of society's rejects.

He nods a little. "Of course." He says since he had nothing better to do and the other seemed somewhat eager to make friends. "Not as many as you'd think." He said. Now that he thought about it, he did look somewhat like Taemin. It was strange to consider it. He swallowed and stood with his trash. "Do you want to go now?" He asked with a tilt of his head. "I'm finished. If you are..we can go." He added with another smile. As long as the other continued to be this friendly he suppose he would be smiling a lot. At least until Sehun didn't want to be friends anymore because Jongin was reading most of his thoughts and not saying anything about it--

@Kim Jongin [Kai] Sehun smiled pleasantly, "Yeah same, I tend to get avoided too," he shrugged "but not here, I find it important to put in that extra effort here, since it's a small place." and who the is scared of a little wind anyway. "...I guess loners tend to hang around each other," Sehun shrugged, coincidence be that most people he's met so far was suppressing the clawing desperation for friendship because of some ability-related reason. Sehun found those people the easiest to befriend, and the easiest to find.

"Maybe you can just tour me around after this," Sehun suggested, taking up the offer with no hesitation. He would probably end up using this excuse to hang out with Jongin again..maybe. "I don't even know how big this place is, and I don't even know who runs it. Neither have I met Taemin since recruitment." Sehun recalled skinny features and a sharp face and high cheekbones. He really did look a lot like Jongin, but more thinner and more pale. "And we don't get a lot of shows, do we," Sehun frowned. Sometimes he would forget that he was literally in an isolated island of freaks. It felt more like home than an occupation. It also felt as if he had been here all along, even though it had been days since his arrival.

Jongin's lips tilt curiously, more than amused. He was use to barging into people's mind and finding himself uncomfortable with what he finds but if anything, the other is refreshing. Jongin thinks Sehun is a bit of a dork but there isn't anything wrong with that.

"Actually, I don't." He admits, "Most of the people keep to themselves or I just don't have a reason to approach them." Granted, when majority of people found out his ability it made them reluctant to talk to him. After all, the mind reader couldn't possibly want human interaction. Wrong. Sometimes Jongin craved it. "I'm not a people's person." He admitted but smiled nonetheless.

"Well whenever you need someone to show you around, I'd always be free." He says. He has to admit to himself at least Sehun's thoughts travel in the right direction. Because Jongin tried to not so blatantly read his thoughts but couldn't help it. "I understand that." He says.

Sehun perked up at the others' offer, because to him it sounded more like an extension of friendship over the true intention. "Oh cool...Jongin," Sehun smiled after the added name, the syllables rolled so easily off his tongue. He liked the sound of his name actually, it was very fitting of his appearance. And damn it, he's staring again. Sehun was quick to redirect his stare to his own plate. He had a habit or burning holes into people's faces with his stare as he talked, and it didn't help that his expression was so blank all the time.

"Wait really? So you must know everyone, then," Sehun head snaps back up, interested. Jongin must be popular...well, Sehun wouldn't be surprised if he was, given the effortless charm he radiated. All Sehun radiated was the friken wind, which generally kept people away. That wasn't the case here though, most people here had themselves to fear, and approaching Sehun wasn't a problem for many of them.

"I'd be happy if you did," Sehun responded with a grin, his eagerness eagerly reflected in the wind.
Sehun liked quiet people and indirect communication, as if sitting there alone was enough for them to understand what the other was thinking. But that wasn't really possible, so Sehun babbled on to fill in the silence "I rarely find things to do outside of practice, so it gets a little suffocating when i'm cooped up around here,"

He smiled faintly unable to fight it anymore. Usually Jongin was good at keeping a straight polite but slightly interested expression. But the other's thoughts are refreshing compared to the morbid freaks he has encountered who usually more likely than not are depressing and down about their circumstances. He wants to be friends with Sehun he decides. The other is nice and uses his best effort. "You don't have to call me hyung. Just Jongin is nice. Or Kai-- whichever you prefer."

He nods a little, his smile slightly knowing but he doesn't comment on the air change. Instead he tilts his head slightly. "I've been here since the beginning." He admits. He had been recruited at an early age. Jongin had been on the verge of losing his mind and starving to death. So the circus had always seemed like home. However his smile widens at his thoughts. Naeun was pretty intimidating from the brief time he had met her. "I could show you around--" He says wanting to add, 'even the bathrooms' but he's sure he'll startle the other.

"Damn," Sehun cursed aloud and fought a blush"--I mean, hyung," Sehun cursed again inwardly. While Jongin was easy going, it was somehow even more intimidating to Sehun. Maybe because he was trying his best not to up, especially when he seemed to be steady on the path to friendship. Or not. Jongin seemed more like the keep-to-himself-type.

"Not long," Sehun maintained a calm composure on the outside. Thank god for default -faces. Bless his father's -face genes. The good for nothing bastard. Still, the wind doesn't tell lies, and emits a warmth that reflected Sehun's embarrassment. "By now a week, so I'm still trying to find my way around," and make /friends/ Sehun pushed in his mind, but it never reached his tongue. And also find toilets. Those are hard to find.
"What about you? You seem pretty settled here, maybe you could help me out around here..." Sehun finally turned back to his food, though significantly turned off by thoughts of toilets. Okay, no, Sehun, it's just curry. "...I have a room-mate but I don't think she likes me very much," Sehun chuckled at the thought of Naeun. She was an interesting character.

He wasn't sure what to make of the other male. Jongin smiled slightly, unable to help himself from being slightly amused by the other's swirling thoughts. Such a mess, he thought. He had to be careful to not answer those thoughts which meant he had to play close attention to the other.

He wasn't sure what 'caramely' meant. Or what that was suppose to even sound like. "I was born in January in ninety-four." He says. "I'm older." He adds with a quirk of his lips. Though Sehun was awkward he was easy to be around since the other was too conscious of trying to befriend him. He wanted to laugh but resisted some. The most basic question would have been about his reason for being in the freak show but Jongin wanted to avoid that-- he didn't want to give his away so soon. "How long have you been here?" He asked with a tilt of his head since that seemed like a safe bet.

Sehun could die of relief. Second successful approach at a strange, achieved. "Yeah, thanks," he moves his plate over to join Jongin, now feeling far more violated himself than expected. His companion had a sense of familiarity. Like they're supposed to know one another. For the first time in a while, Sehun's mind is eradicated of all thoughts, and instead he focused only on the boy in front of him. Sehun lifted his head to observe the male, who didn't seem too disturbed by his presence...at least on the outside.

Sehun wanted to know more about him, and maybe make friends, but asking any question in a place like this seemed to be too personal. Well there's always generic conversational topics, like the weather...but that would be lame. Okay. What about complimenting him on his voice. It's very...er, caramely...that's not a word. Sehun looked up from his food to steal a second glance. Maybe ask about his age, it should be similar to his own, a-and that's an excuse for friendship, right?
"So how old are you? I was born April in ninety-four, I think you're similar in age?" Sehun picks at his food, his real intentions lodged in his throat. For some reason he couldn't bring himself to ask about being friends, or anything he wanted for that matter. At least he was speaking at all. Had he been back in Seoul, he would never have picked up the courage to say hi in the first place.

Jongin was eating his food rather peacefully. He was focuses rather hard on not hearing the people around him which is usually why he opted to sit alone because if they were too close their thoughts became too loud and too impossible to push from his mind. The strangest thing was he didn't learn the most about people from their own thoughts but rather from other people's.

He wouldn't have noticed the other without his thoughts. They were jumbled, fast, and random. Jongin only sneaks a look at the guy whose thoughts are blared very loudly before turning his attention back to his food. He finds them amusing. Only the amusement turns to something more then the guy's thoughts drifted to him-- he almost chokes on his food, coughing and hacking as the guy goes on and on in this thoughts. He wants to inform him that it isn't anything like the urinal scenario-- Jongin isn't sure how he could think that. It's only when the other decides to approach him Jongin tenses slightly as he looks up from his food getting a better look at guy who compares sitting next to someone to standing too close to someone using a urinal. He swallows concentrating hard so he doesn't say anything wrong. "Hi, Sehun." He says with a little too much familiarity. "I'm Jongin. Do you want to sit?" He asks maybe to avoid the entire awkwardness but he's sure it's too late for that.

Sehun set down his platter a few seats away from a stranger while he recited the names of the freaks on cafeteria duty. Most were friendly people, but there were more than he could have imagined. Taemin, Naeun, the Chinese guy...Zitao?

Sehun grabbed his fork and spooned up a mouthful of rice. Too much seasoning, definitely. Taemin's power was anonymous to him, Naeun's was ice. More like her attitude is ice. Very similar to himself. Mental reminder to befriend her. Zitao's power was probably something like intimidate-you-to-death. Sehun held back a smile. Well who knew, the kid could turn out to be really nice. Sehun took a second bite of his food. Yeah, he could get used to this taste. Finally he stopped his string of thoughts, which seemed to jump from here to there. Being a reserved person on the outside, Sehun's mind was usually clouded with jumbled thoughts, and his inner persona was a sarcastic brat.

For a brief moment he glanced across the table at the lone guy only two seats away. Sehun considered approaching him or maybe subtly slipping into the seat opposite him. But would that be weird,right? Maybe that's an invasion of privacy. That's like...that's like walking to the urinal right next to a stranger inside a public toilet when there are clearly many more urinals around. Sehun looked back down at his food and dug a bite. But he needed friends. New place new me, right? Sehun stared back up at the stranger. And he's hot. The /food/ is really hot holynutbuckets. Sehun took a bite, still staring. Well, he's approached a stranger before, and /that/ turned out great, so why not try it again? His right hand was already beginning to move his platter anyways. Ohp to late, yep too late. Yolo. Yehet--"HI I'M SEHUN."
