High School

@Bang Minah [I meant about every 2 weeks. please excuse my trash typo, okay?]

Realizing that his voice sounded a bit harsh at her use of past tense, he rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment and bowed apologetically. "Sorry about that. My aunt is just a bit of a...touchy subject for me and for most that knew her before she left." He paused for a moment to recollect his thoughts before smiling softly. "Anyway, this is also where some of the younger ones learn how to read and write and stuff since they aren't in a formal school. Luckily, not many young ones part from their real families to join the Cirque." At this, he smiled a genuine smile, glad that there were parents who wouldn't give up on their child so fast, no matter what irregularities he or she faced.

@Bang Minah "Because we don't want anyone getting exhausted or tired from performing, we move around about every 2 months." Sensing her curiosity, he chuckled softly. "We don't invite people to the home island because that's what this is– our home. It's a safe haven. Sure, many like to watch our performances and spend money to see the 'freaks', but if they knew where we lived, who knows what could happen to us." He nodded and gave her a reassuring smile, so she wouldn't feel obliged to perform if she didn't want to. "Yes, you can." When she used the past tense in reference to Hyori, he sighed softly then gave a tight smile. "She /is/ an amazing woman. Hopefully, she'll return to us one day."

@Lee Taemin "Oh, okay. So how much do you travel?" She was curious as to why they traveled and didn't just bring people to the island. She smiled again when he told her she could still live on the island. "Can I really still stay on the island even if I don't preform?" She was happy when he told her that and eyesmiled. "Your aunt must have been an amazing woman if she founded this whole Cirque by herself,".

@Bang Minah A brow quirked at her question, and he shook his head at her. "No, no. We don't perform here. This is where many of the others /practice/ their show. We have the shows on the main land of Korea, traveling to different cities." He felt a bit uneasy when she put her hand on his shoulder, sighing softly as he stood eerily still to keep from brushing her hand away. At least, her smile made him feel a bit better. Not much, but a bit. "That's fine. You're still free to live here as you wish. Just make sure to keep up with your weekly duties, and all is fine." Taemin followed her eyes around the high school and chuckled softly. "Yeah, my aunt, the former leader of the Cirque, remade it with some of the others."

@Lee Taemin Minah smiled and followed along behind Taemin listening closely. She was happy that she had finally gotten a tour around the island. "Why do y'all preform in high school?" She could tell he was feeling quilty. She didn't see why so she placed her hand on his shoulder. "Don't feel quilty Mr.Lee you where traveling and had to run a whole freak show. Don't worry about it,". She removed her hand and smiled sweetly. "I would love to preform but have stage fright," she looked down at her feet, "so I will help people live her freely,". She looked around at the high school. "The is really pretty, ".

@Bang Minah After he finished showing Minah, one of the more recent additions to the Cirque family, around the home island, he took her to the high school. "So, this is probably where you'll be helping the others with their performances. Some of the freaks use help from the audience, some use props. Since your weekly duty is to help them, you'll practice with them." Taemin felt a bit guilty since he'd waited a whole month before showing her everything about how the Cirque worked, but they'd been traveling when he recruited her, and it was difficult to run a show and train new freaks at the same time. "I know you haven't had a chance to make up your own performance yet, but we will go over that in a day or two, okay? I just need some time to rearrange our performance list. However, you don't /have/ to perform," he added, knowing there were some members that just wanted a safe haven, somewhere they could live without being judged by the normal people of the world. "In that case, you're free to simply help the others and live freely here on the island."
