@Hyosung Following his seniors lead, he followed Hyosung up the stairs. He did however keep his distance in doing so so that no one would realize that Zelo was following the female to a private place.
He focused on the stairs so that his mind would not wander again. He almost mindlessly made his way on to the rooftop before readjusting himself to locate Hyosung.
Zelo saw her there, standing near the edge, and away from him. This distance seemed appropriate--Zelo was probably never supposed to know Hyosung as intimately as he got to that one night. No matter how appropriate the distance was, Zelo hated it. He cursed under his breath wanting the complications of the situation to leave and just let him be happy in the moment.
He leisurely made his way next to her. Staring over the city just under an arms length away from her.
"Hyosung noona--" he paused as he looked at her. She seemed relaxed as she looked out. "I'm not sure what it is I want to talk about... about the other night. But we have not spoken at all since that time..." he finished.
Nodding her head slowly, Hyosung led the way towards the opposite direction, trying to figure out a suitable place in the building that they could talk about the 'night'. Hearing the word 'night' would made her shiver yet she was curious to know what exactly happened even though, she was embarrassed. Biting her bottom lip, she looked around the place but couldn't find a decent one which made her look like she was just walking around aimlessly. Oh, the rooftop. She thought about the place and turned around when suddenly, "Then where is the right place?"
Hyosung blinked and looked at the young male, feeling embarrassed as her face slowly started heating up. She cleared and said, "The rooftop... no one usually go there..."
Before she could hear his response, Hyosung walked before him and towards the stairs. What is wrong with me? She thought silently, trying not to make a fool out of herself. Peeking behind her shoulder, she checked if he was following her. Otherwise, she would feel more stupid.
Reaching up the rooftop, she opened the door when the breeze of fresh air swayed around her. Sighing, she looked around the place; quite empty and the view from the top was breathtaking. She walked towards the edge and smiled softly, forgetting that they went there for a reason.
As he was a loss for his words Hyosung was able to stop him before he rashly continued.
Zelo eyed the buzz of people after realizing Hyosung was conscious of them. Of course, he thought. Zelo didn't think anyone was particularly the gossip type but it was always at the back of an idol's mind--people blabbing about them to the media.
The nerves that held him before were momentarily lifted as he begun to put himself in his place. To him, it seemed that Hyosung probably wanted no connection with him. Let alone any rumors.
His eyes refocused on Hyosung.
"Oh, right," he sheepishly apologized. His character of the shyer junior was on him again. It was selfish and rather domineering of him but he wanted to speak now. And now was in this building, not later in a private area.
In his mind he was analyzing the immediate area. Where could they go where they would not be heard? Perhaps the bathroom? Maybe not, since either of them in opposites 's bathroom would raise brows. It was possible one of the waiting rooms were empty.
He stopped in his tracks, well in his thoughts. Maybe Hyosung didn't want to talk about--at all. As in they were completely over--the end, fin.
Zelo cursed himself as his confidence left him yet again. How could he possibly be this nervous. He was continuously overthinking causing his courage to deplete and seem once again a lamb.
He tried to pick it off from his last words. He wanted to seem casual--as if it didn't bother him. "Then where is the right place?" But those words left him before he could even think of a nice, casual way to say let's just part ways then. Zelo tried to soften his expression to lessen the impact of his rather blunt words.
That's it? Nodding her head slowly, Hyosung dropped her gaze again as she watched her feet, unable to process the feelings tickling inside her chest.
"And you?"
With a sudden question leaving his lips, Hyosung glanced at the boy, hesitating to answer. What am I suppose to say? She wondered silently while thinking of a way to sound normal. Reminding herself to act mature, she put on a soft smile and nodded her head once. "I am alright... as usual." As usual? She thought to herself. How was she suppose to be alright when the two had a unfortunate history.
Hyosung couldn't remember anything from that night until she woke up beside the young man at the hotel. Hence, she knew they did it otherwise she didn't had any other proof except the fact she couldn't walk properly. Although, something was bothering her for a while. Does he remember?
The silence took over again. Staring down at her feet, Hyosung couldn't make up her mind. Lots of negative thoughts spread inside her head. What if Joon finds out? Does Junhong know that I am dating someone? What would happen if he knew? Will he hate me forever? Oh god, I'm such a bad influence. Shutting her eyes, she bit her bottom lip with a sigh.
"Uhm.."
The voice suddenly made her shiver, slowly looking up to him while meeting his gaze.
"We... you know... had a thing the other night.. and,"
Oh no. She thought. Is he...?
Frightened, Hyosung looked around her surroundings, finding the staff busy walking around the place. Smiling weakly at them to act normal as possible, she sighed and looked back at the boy, who looked bothered. Rumor spreading about their night might be the last thing she wanted in her life. Clearing , she hesitated but said, "C-Can we talk about this somewhere else? I don't think this is the right place..."
@Hyosung Despite the fact the Hyosung was, quite literally, right in front of him, Zelo still had the thought to look away. As if the more he avoided eye contact the easier it would be to avoid an interaction with her.
Her voice was like an attack on his sanity. How was he doing? He was internally screaming. The way she had so casually spoke to him--the way words left her plush lips.
Zelo had to reel himself back to reality. He had been asked a question by his senior. His eyes finally lay upon her but he couldn't quite make it to her eyes so he skipped around various part of her face. "I'm good," he responded with a fake air of nonchalance. Her question was vague, allowing him to respond in a general manner. It wasn't like he was being pressed about what had happened between them. "And you?" he added briskly.
What was he doing? This was not like him. The frustration Zelo was feeling with himself was boiling over. Normally he could hold conversation quite well, in fact he was quite the social lad even with his fellow female idols. But here he was stumbling over words like he wanted to be over with it.
How could he make it better? How could he move this along? Maybe there was something on his group's schedule he needed to attend to, he thought.
He balled his fists. The grip was so tight that his knuckles turned pale. Zelo finally focused his eyes on Hyosung properly. "Uhm..", despite the obvious hesitance in him Zelo had made up his mind to have courage. He was embarrassed and the soft colour of roses were appearing on his cheeks.
He was young and inexperienced.. and he did not know the difference between love and lust but that being so he was very interested in Hyosung. "We... you know... had a thing the other night.. and," he wasn't sure where he going with this so he just dropped it. Crestfallen, he couldn't look at Hyosung again. He had lost the courage just as quickly as he gained it.
@Zelo Life can be bitter sometimes but she never thought it would be the day.
Closely approaching the familiar figure, she was oblivious of the presence when her feet stopped working suddenly. She stood before him, eyes widened and blinking in realisation. Questioning her own action, she cursed inside her head. She couldn't figure out why she had to stop just before him. She could have passed him by with just a smile or wave of a hand but why stop? Did she had something to say to him. Yes, indeed.
Glimpse of flashbacks played inside her head like a broken DVD of that very night where lust took over her drunk self, unable to see the clear image. Embarrassed of her mistake, she bit her bottom lip and looked away helplessly. Stealing glances, she couldn't help but feel curious of what he was thinking. Is he thinking about that night? The silence said it all. He was.
Flustered, she felt her face heating up just thinking of him thinking about the night. She admitted that it was a mistake but why did she felt her heart beating quicker whenever she met his gaze.
Shaking off her feelings, she reminded herself that she was taken. Taken by Joon, her boyfriend. Their on and off relationship had been irritating her for sometime but that didn't meant that she could just start a new one with some other man or boy.
Staying silent for sometime, Hyosung rubbed the back of her neck shyly while her gaze fell down. Facing him, she couldn't pull a word out of her lips. She knew her voice won't help her either, showing the obvious hesitancy in it. She didn't want him to know how nervous she was yet being a senior, she decided to start the conversation. "H-How are you doing?"
@Hyosung He wasn't expecting this--not at all. Zelo's eyes darted to and fro in attempt to divert attention away from himself from the female before him. The more he looked away the more obvious it was that he was nervous. Even at the height of his popularity, on a large stage, Zelo had not felt quite this nervous. So why was Hyosung making him act so unlike himself?
Of all the woman Zelo could have... he had to choose the woman that made him trip over himself. He cursed himself under his breath.
Recalling his intimate moment with Hyosung from before made him visibly flustered. Something so filled with lust was not supposed to happen between him and his senior. Zelo didn't even know where that left him. Was he just a one night stand or perhaps a toy? Or maybe they were supposed to start a legitimate relationship now.
Hyosung was a gorgeous woman... maybe she already had someone for herself and Zelo was just intruding.
A wave of thoughts were rushing into Zelo's head and he was beginning to drown in his ocean of thoughts. He had no answers for himself and he not the courage to ask.
