THE PROCESS OF STORY LINES
A story line is basically the newest horror plot you’ll be following. There will be a certain number of people within each story line that will be chosen by the admins - feel free to request certain people in a certain story line but no promises - and from that number of people the killer(s) will be chosen. Throughout the story line, there will be points of heavy interaction in which a character will be met with a scenario will have to face an ultimate decision, and the decision will determine how the story line goes ( Think Until Dawn when discussing being interactive ). There will be optional roles that you can take in each storyline that give you a basis of a part to play. You do not have to take these roles however it will lead to increased interaction. Throughout the story line hints will also be given so that characters may find the person(s) that is behind the murders. If they manage to identify and subdue the people correctly then they will have succeeded in the story line and will be deemed the winners and will have a say in the upcoming story line. However if not, they will have to continue to play through the time period of the story line or until they have all died.
HOW KILLERS WORK
Killers are chosen by the admins amongst characters at random. The job of the killer is to act out the role they are given. I.E. if the story line is Halloween Based in the killer should proceed to kill people based off of Michael Myers ( with a machete or something along the lines ). The killer’s ultimate goal is to remain unfound while manipulating the fellow players in the story line as well as accuse others if they can. If a killer manages to do so and manages to kill all of the characters or extend the story line throughout the time period then they will win and will have a say in the upcoming story line. If not, it will be deemed a failure. If a killer manages to die by sudden means/on accident, then another among the characters will be appointed. Throughout the story line the killer will be given missions based on the story line and will be expected to carry them out. Not every story line has an appointed killer though most will, in the case of a survival horror story line, the admins will be the ones in control of deaths and the characters will have to escape.
THE CONCEPT OF IN STORY DEATH
It is possible to die in a story line by many means, whether it be accident, due to one’s decision during an interactive moment, or from the killer. Once a character has died, the roleplayer does not have to delete their profile and reapply. Rather, they will post in the death room that they’ve died in their specific story line and will have the option of still playing a vital part to the story line depending on the specific one as a spirit - though it will be specified whether or not it is possible - or engaging in separate plots in the AU room while they wait to be placed into a new story line. Roleplayers also have the choice of changing aspects about their character after death to fit an upcoming story line, such as, background, age, ual orientation, etc. However if one chooses to change their face claim, please tell an admin.
