@⋄ jessica jung Soojung's eyes widen a bit, she didn't expect the other to follow her out. She jerked her elbow free from the other and took a deep breath. She rolled her eyes. "I don't care if we're linked by blood. No you aren't. I can handle this on my own. I certainly don't need YOUR help." She pushed her behind her ear. "Go home. Don't follow me!" She held up her finger and poked her sister in the chest. Holding her head high she started walking away. Her first stop would be her home. She knew for a fact her mother kept a journal, probably sealed by magic but where ever it was she'd find it. There had to be a clue in there.
@⋄ krystal jung It was growing to the point where her words were getting under Jessica's skin, chewing hard on her bottom lip as her sister began to walk off. Letting out a sigh of frustration, she slid to the edge of the booth to stand up and walk up to the witch who was nearly in tears. Taking a light hold on her elbow, the heiress accompanied her outside before she laid out her own collected ammo of words. "I understand your hatred towards me. We are from different worlds, but you seem to forget we are linked by blood. Now if you are looking for Mother, than I am going with you." She wasn't going to take no for an answer, calm words still acting as retaliation for being called useless.
@⋄ jessica jung Soojung frowned as she stared at the mug in front of her. Her mother was gone, missing and her only hope had turned dull. Something was terribly wrong, she felt it deep within her. A sense of urgency rushed over her. She needed to find her mother, now. Where did she always run off to anyway? Would Jessica even know. The entire situation felt useless. She was at a dead end. "How many times do I have to tell you to call my Krystal..." She mumbled as her eyes stung with tears. She didn't dare let them fall not, in front of the other. "God, you're useless as ever." She hissed, getting up abruptly. "I'm going to find mom, umm I'll let you know when I find her." She wiped her eyes and her heel to leave.
@⋄ krystal jung "I wish I could give you the answer you want, Soojung..." Jessica wore a soft frown on her lips, taking a sip of coffee. "But I've felt similar worries for Mother myself." Despite not knowing much of her, there was always a instinct she could feel, a link between Witches of maternal blood. Nowadays, it just seemed to disappear. Like their mother was simply...erased. Even the poised lady was as nervous as the young female. Usually by now, the younger of the two would be fired up or annoyed but it was serious. Her fidgeting made it clear that speaking to Jessica was the last resort. She covered all bases and matters had to be taken into their own hands.
@⋄ jessica jung "Yea, afternoon." Soojung could barely be heard as she ped her jacket a bit. She waved a hand out at a waitress walking by. "Could I get a hot chocolate please?" The waitress smiled, and hurried along. How was she supposed to start a conversation with the other, she didn't know what to say. Was she supposed to make small talk or get straight to the point. She mumbled to the waitress, as she placed the hot chocolate in front of her. The cafe was buzzing with chatter, laughter and vibrant conversation was all around them, making the silence between them was stand out. "So...Jess, umm..." Soojung started, taking a napkin in her hands and twisting it. "I was just wondering, if by chance you knew where mother was? She hasn't been home in a while, and I'm getting a tad worried." She told the other. A lump was forming in , and she swallowed it quickly, praying the other would say "oh yea, I saw her! She said she'd be coming home soon!", or "She's fine."
@⋄ krystal jung Hidden under the wide brimmed hat, the delicate witch focused on her coffee, black fingernails tapping on the aged china. It was a surprise for her half-sister to even wish to talk to her and to call her from the magic realm from her job, but there was one thing that kept her coming back. Learning about her mother. Lucia has no memory of her mother, due to her being taken away by a collector. Only meeting with her once or twice under her human alias Jessica, she knew that her younger sister was very cold towards her and was headstrong at times whereas the heiress was more collected and poised. Glancing up at the student, a gentle smile appeared from the dusty rose lips.
"Good Afternoon..."
@⋄ jessica jung It had been almost two weeks since Soojung last saw her mother. Her mother was known to disappear for a day or two but never this long. She would've called or texted Soojung that'd she'd be gone for a while. She didn't know what her mother did when she was gone but could only hope she was safe. She didn't pick up her phone. She was worried now.
She took a deep breath as she sat in the booth at a local cafe. She was waiting for someone. The only person who might have a clue where her mother could've run off to. Someone she barely talked to. Her sister.
@⋄ krystal jung Thanks.
