@lee minhyuk [ hiatus ] At the mention of the castle Kurokage her stomach did flips inside of her even though she kept her face a mask. That was more or less the absolute last place she wanted to go and she needed to think quickly about how to avoid it. True that she knew their king very well and had some weird relations with the princes but she guessed she would be treated differently if brought to them in front of their own people. She would have to tread carefully in order to leave in one still breathing piece.
Her eyes sparkled as she looked back to him and she gave him a half-smile, flashing her dimple when she spoke. "I do recognize you." she said lightly and shrugged a bit. "The castle is fine with me but I would hate to be a burden. I can take my leave as soon as we get out of the wilderness if it is truly all the same to you."
@lee minhyuk As soon as the hood was thrown back she cold almost feel the collective gasps from all of the men in the tight space and their eyes upon her. She had been told she was beautiful before but she figured it had only been because of her aura which she couldn't much control in her weakened state. It was getting harder and harder for her to keep it down but she had to keep trying, there was no other choice.
"Kingdom as in Castle Kurokage?" she asked, eyebrow raised as she tried to keep her expression from giving anything away. Boah turned her attention away from the slaves and looked only at their master, trying to determine just how much trouble she had gotten herself into.
@lee minhyuk Her brow furrowed a bit under her hood and raised her gaze to meet his questioningly. "Of course it will be okay." she said quietly and climbed inside the carriage, looking around at all of the faces of her fellow 'passengers'. With the exception of the incredibly attractive master there was nothing really remarkable about any of them.
She scooted further inside to make room for Minhyuk, looking down at her snow covered clothes. Even just being inside the carriage was enough of a break for her to gather her strength some. Hopefully she would be able to rest a bit more with her hosts before she tried to make the journey back home.
"Where exactly are we going anyway?" Boah asked curiously, looking back towards the man who had invited her. She was still feeling a strange tingling in her body that made her want to touch him again. The girl wondered how strange it would be to do so.
@lee minhyuk His touch sent a wave of something through her and her body began to heat up. There was a slight pause in her breathing as the man peered under her hood and she wondered if he would recognize her. He seemed to neither recall her name nor her face so she began to relax a bit as he pulled away although she had a lingering sensation near the put of her stomach.
She mouthed his name repeatedly to try and remember it as she followed behind him, hastening her pace to match his. It wasn't really clear what was so bad about the sun setting but he had more experience in the snow than she did so she wouldn't argue. She looked from the carriage to Minhyuk as she waited for instructions; she wasn't about to just climb on to his property and her brain with still muddled with thoughts of him.
@lee minhyuk Her hope faded a bit as he said they didn't have any food and it was then that she noticed he was completely unaffected by the cold. She was not human and while it wouldn't kill her it was still unpleasant so she wondered which species the handsome man truly was. It was a bit surprising to her that she ran into so many of the other non-humans in her journeys.
The princess was interested in the man but had been about to leave before asked her to come along. A smile formed on her soft pink lips and she nodded, grateful for the hospitality. "I would very much like to if it is alright." she said politely. Boah almost wanted to finish her sentence asking where they were going to go as she didn't even see anything but she didn't know how to approach the subject.
He had called her a stranger though and while she knew she shouldn't divulge her real name because she was in 'enemy' territory she felt it would ultimately lead to more troubles if she lied. Instead she settled for a partial truth and as she stepped closer to him she extended her hand. "Thank you and my name is Boah." introduced herself with a smile.
@lee minhyuk As she drew closer her sharp eyes could make out that they were not locals. The people were clearly not natives to the tundra judging from their garb which gave her pause. She stealthily moved behind a snow drift and weighed her options: she could either try to go back and risk herself with exposure or attempt to get help from the men. Since she had already spent the calories and time to get that far, she decided to try the men.
Boah shifted into her maiden form and pulled her fur cloak tightly around her as she approached. The hood managed to fall down just perfectly to protect her eyes from the glare without obstructing her view. As she walked into the group she noticed most of them were freezing and complaining. She eyed them curiously but it wasn't her business so she walked up to the man who seemed to be in charge of the whole thing.
The princess stopped short when she saw his face and had to blink. She didn't know if it was delirium, hunger, or even if he was that attractive. It took a second for her to regain her composure and remember why she had come to him in the first place.
"Hello." She began with a friendly smile, already knowing the meeting was going to be awkward. "You wouldn't happen to have a bit of food to spare, would you?"
@lee minhyuk The snow and ice crunched beneath her paws with every careful step she took out of the snowbank she had slept in. Boah had been chasing a polar bear across the tundra when a blizzard descended upon her from the north, forcing her to quickly make a shelter to hide from the weather. It had been hours since then and once she was sure it had passed she made her way back out into the open.
Her eyes watered uncomfortably as the sun reflected brightly from all around her and she knew it would be difficult to find her way back home in her current state. She was weak and hungry and she knew her jet black fur stood out among her solid white environment making her easy prey. It was certainly not the position she wanted to be in but as a wolf she would at least be warm and mobile.
She scanned the horizon, hoping to either run into natives or possibly scavenge a quick meal when she saw many dots dotting along the snow. Not polar bears or other wolves which meant it was likely people and where there was people there was food. Without skipping a beat she headed towards them, only concerned about the consequences if she didn't.
