@ahn jaehyo Jongjin's eyes followed the movement of Jaehyo's hand as he reached for his dagger, "Try anything and I wont hold back," he warned the thief as he somewhat took a half step back, distancing them farther away as the memories swam before his eyes. He shook his head, his barriers still intact and immovable but the king himself was a bit distracted. "Jaehyo I promise you if you bring that knife anywhere near me I WILL kill you," he ground out, remembering all too clearly how the sadist carved into his flesh while he was defenseless.
@won jongjin Jaehyo smirked cheekily, "You've seem to know me a lot better~ Did you start learning mind reading, sweetheart?" Arguing with the other wouldn't work when the male already read through him. Frowning at the other's words, he tapped his own cheek and gave the other a thoughtful look, "As much as I want to find an accommodation, a place in dungeon is too good for me." He added a little sarcasm in his tone. Raising his brows, Jaehyo examined the King's expressions as he was pondering about the other's next moves. Is the dungeon that inescapable? But the next sentence from the man broke his bubble of thoughts. Feeling disappointed upon hearing the other's words, Jaehyo stared straight into the other's eyes. "I'll carve it again then." His right hand moved to the handle of his dagger.
@ahn jaehyo Jongjin scoffed at the other, "Come see me? I highly doubt that. You're probably just here to steal something and then go pawn it off somewhere," he flexed his arms around his chest, "Which, by the way, you wont be able to do since you wont be able to get past the bars on the dungeon that is currently awaiting your arrival." Jongjin held back a glare at Jaehyo's words. Repeat itself? Unlikely. He would make sure nothing like that ever happened again. Suddenly defensive, the king grit his teeth as the mention of his chest brought on a whole nother wave of throbbing over the same area, "Dont be stupid. I got rid of that mark you put on me ages ago." he spat out from between locked lips.
@won jongjin Jaehyo chuckled in amusement upon hearing the male's words. "Just Maybe." He repeated the other's words, "after living with me for quite a while, you should know that I don't die easily." He gave the other his mischievous smirk. Being able to get away free for so long is a proof that Jaehyo isn't an easy target to execute and Jaehyo would only improve his skills every duel. Looking straight at the king in the eye, Jaehyo lifted his smirk, "What if I say, I came here to see you?" He tilted his head slightly, it wasn't totally a lie but meeting the king is just not his first priority. Noticing the other going into an attacking position, Jaehyo pursed his lips. "You don't want history to repeat itself, do you?" He skimmed his eye over the male's body outline before furrowing his brows when he noticed the man rubbing his chest again. "Sweetheart, are you having some chest problems? Are you having a heart attack because of the sight of me?" Jaehyo asked him in curiosity. "...Or... You /still/ have my name on your skin?"
@ahn jaehyo Jongjin felt a frown shape his lips, "I should have known about this power when you held me hostage, maybe then I would have easily done away with you," he ground out. He only just found out he had these strange powers, actually it was about right after his captivity with the thief. He also, to his even greater dismay, found out who his true parents were. "Why dont you amuse me by telling me why you're here at /my/ castle? Dont you realize that was a foolish move to make? I can throw you to the dungeons." he stated tonelessly as he took on a stance. He expected Jaehyo to put up a fight considering his life was currently on the line. That same throb struck up in his chest again and he absentmindedly raised a hand to rub at the spot again. He couldnt wait to get rid of this man so this weird feeling could go away at last.
@won jongjin Jaehyo glanced back at the king when he heard his name. "So you remembered my name." Jaehyo grinned happily, relieved over the fact that the other actually remembered his name though he was curious about the sight of the other rubbing a part of his chest. But before he even got a chance to ask about it, Jaehyo sensed a tense atmosphere creeping in when he listened to the next set of words from the other. Placing his hands on his hips, Jaehyo thought about the other's words before responding to him. "Are you dying to eat me, sweetheart? Though I think I'm so much better alive than dead." Jaehyo chuckled slightly when he noticed shadows shaped into a wall of dark translucent shade over the door before turning his head back to find that the window have a similar wall. Instead of feeling terrified, Jaehyo was amazed by the other's magic. "No wonder you're so fair, sweetheart." Jaehyo laughed, "I bet you use this power all the time." He exclaimed cheekily while being warily about the situation as he pondered about what the other is going to do next. He is trapped.. But at least he's not alone.
@ahn jaehyo Jongjin stared at Jaehyo gauging his reaction to his harsh words. He almost smiled at the dejected look on the others face but for some reason his chest throbbed at the thought of that look. Jongjin frowned and rubbed the spot on his chest Jaehyo had carved his name onto. Throwing the thought aside he almost burst out with laughter at Jaehyo's next choice of words, "You're many things Jaehyo but Romeo you are not! And stop calling me sweetheart-," deeply in his tirade Jongjin completely forgot he was supposed to be ignoring this male. With a swift mental kick to the brain Jongjin clenched his teeth together and crossed his arms over his chest. "What do you want now Jaehyo? Why come back here if you know I want your head on a platter?" As if in response to his turmoil, Jongjin's sword began pulsing with power at his side. "If you plan on stealing something then dont waste your time, I'm not going to let you set foot out of this castle with anything." Jongjin snapped two of his fingers together and shadows from all around them broke away from their hiding places and made a barrier near the door and window.
@won jongjin A noticeable pout formed upon Jaehyo's face as he stared at the other when he heard the man's words. He could have sworn he heard his heart was breaking apart just like those shattered glass pieces on the floor. "I guess you have many /partners/" Jaehyo diverted his eyes away from the male to his own shoes, wondering if their moments didn't leave a big impact for the king. Jaehyo glanced up at the other when he heard the next sentence. Raising his eyebrows in shock, Jaehyo pointed his thumb at the window behind him. "You want me to jump down the window? Sweetheart, have you seen how far away the ground is from here? I was playing the role of Romeo for you!" Jaehyo curled his lips into a playful frown, while pushing those upsetting feelings aside. "But if you insist, I'll just get something from here before disappearing." He mumbled, shifting his attention onto a nearby shelf.
@ahn jaehyo Jongjin paused in front of the door at Jaehyo's words and deciding he wants to play this out longer he says, "I don't believe I recall ever seeing you before," he glanced over his shoulder at the thief to give him a blank stare. Oh he knew this thief all too well. A little more than he was comfortable with. Especially the males body. He practically knew it like the back of his hand what with being held in his clutches for so long. Its a good thing he got away when he did otherwise...Jongjin didn't even want to think about it. "If you dont want to die by my hand for infiltrating this castle then i suggest you leave the way you came in," he turned fully to face the other, their similar heights allowing him to look straight at Jaehyo unblinkingly.
@won jongjin Jaehyo was astonished when he noticed the other's movements as he initially thought that the other would attacked him immediately when sighted because of the moments they had between them. When he saw the other only turned away from him after he saw the shattered pieces of the fragile lamp on the floor, Jaehyo climbed up the window onto the stable flooring before locking his vision at the man. "Aren't you excited to see me, my princ- I mean King? Or have you forgotten about me?" Jaehyo curled his lips into a mischievous smirk as he eyed at the other. Jaehyo haven't seen the other for quite sometime after they parted and he was dying to tell the other that the other's name was always mentioned everywhere Jaehyo went and he did missed the other a lot even if the other takes it as a mean joke. Jaehyo took a step closer towards the other just so he can probably get the attention he want from the man as he noticed that the other didn't take a second look at him after the other did seemed to notice his presence.
@ahn jaehyo Jongjin's head whipped in the direction of the window as he heard his name being called by an all too familiar voice. Thinking he was seeing things for a moment he blinked to make sure he wasn't dreaming. There on the other side of the window, thirty something feet above the ground, was the man he had all the guards searching for. Ahn Jaehyo. Oh how he wanted to do something drastic but he held himself back and gave the thief an indifferent look, telling the other through his eyes that he was not amused at seeing him so soon. Instead of lashing out he took his time to observe what the other was doing. It seems as though the thief was thieving again. And from /his/ castle. Jongjin felt his anger flare momentarily as the memories invaded his brain once again at the sight of the other male. His hand reflexively tightened around the base of another lamp he was about to throw before he was interrupted. Hearing a splintering crack as the base broke he released the lamp and watched it topple slightly before falling over the edge of the table and shattering against the floor. Tensing his shoulders he turned as if to leave the room, not sparing the thief another glance.
@won jongjin Jaehyo was at it again, running around from places to places and taking anything his fingers could get hold of. It's been so long since he left his little band of robbers due to a small problem he had with them but even though he is alone, he could still run freely in the streets, however, he must be more wary not only of the palace guards, but also those groups of robbers. Jumping over the palace walls to get away from the chasing civilians, Jaehyo sneaked his way deeper within the palace so that those people couldn't find him that easily and somehow, he stopped directly in front of a brick wall. He thought he was a goner when he glanced up and found out that he was at the foot of the tower. It have been a hot topic lately - the late queen's treasure, Jaehyo heard the rumors about one of the queen's treasures possessing a strange aura, and since he is there due to the great escape from those chasers, he could just get hold of the jewel and show the other civilians that rumors will always just be rumors as he is not a strong believer of magic despite his numerous encounters with many magical creatures. After regular visits within the palace, Jaehyo had roughly memorized the layout and rooms of the castle, except the uppermost part of the building. Jaehyo started climbing up the vertically steep brick wall with the help of his daggers. Finally, he managed to reach the open window of a room when he heard a shattering noise from it. Peeking into the room, he noticed a very familiar person. Due to his chatty mouth, he accidentally blurted out the other's name.
@ahn jaehyo The tyrant of a king was at it again as he stormed down the hallways of his castle. He felt like murdering someone at the moment, but then again he's been wanting to murder someone ever since he got back. From hell. Every time he even thinks about what he went through a while back, his anger flares up all over again. Stupid thief. Stupid forest. Stupid cabin. Stupid herb. A snarl ripped past his lips as his hand rose up to touch his chest on top of his shirt. It was still there. The reminder. Oh how he wanted to tear it away. He tried. But for some reason his body still kept the brand of the letters his captor carved into his chest. Blind with fury he didn't realize which room he was entering until he stopped short at the sight of a girly room he's only seen once when he was a child. The queen's room. Grabbing the nearest object he could reach, a delicate lamp, he hurled it across the room and watched it smash into rubble at the force. He'll kill them all. All those damned guards who didn't do their job by finding and capturing that /thief/! By not giving him the satisfaction of permanently slicing that haughty look off the mans face! And now he has to live with the thought that the one person that ever captured him is roaming free. He'll send them all down to hell where his father would no doubt love to burn them alive. Ever since he got back Jongjin had been thrown into a mess. The previous king had perished making him, the next in line, heir to the thrown. And now king of kurokage. A fact that irks him even more. Jongjin grabbed a mirror and sent it shattering down to where the remnants of the lamp lay. He'll kill that thief.
@ahn jaehyo She had trouble in resisting her urge to brutally attack everyone and their blood to dry, since the one the latter had killed had seriously delicious smell. The other knights kept on attacking her and she fought back messily due to the condition she had. It was nearly painful, trying to deny the huge want growing inside her. However she couldn't help herself, she shifted only to avoid the next knight's rush and a second later she got him on her grip. Her fangs sparkled under the dimly light of their swords and the night stars streaming into the room, until they were sinking deep into the poor knight's neck. This shocked all other knights and created more chaos--all were totally oblivious to whatever the other thief was doing.
@yoon bora "Sorry~ My hands were itching to kill." Jaehyo gave the female a satisfied shrug and an apology which isn't apologetic at all. Jaehyo were busy dodging the knights and gets further away from the female. "Have fun fighting~" Jaehyo stabbed a knight whom was charging at him with his dagger. The real reason of him killing was to get the female distracted so he could steal the precious artifact and slipped out. That way it would be more exciting and thrilling which match Jaehyo's interests perfectly. Sneakily, he made his way to the artifact, hacking off the enemies who was in his way before waiting for a chance to snatch the artifact and run away from the scene -alone.
@ahn jaehyo It was out of her expectation at all that the other thief was intended to kill the knights, and once a very sharp scent of fresh blood intruded her vampiric olfactory sense, Bora couldn't help but snapped her head towards where the source was and found a dead knight with a thin bleeding line on his neck. The blood aroused her vampiric hunger all of a sudden, and she turned at the other, "What the hell had you done???" which wasn't good since she attracted the knights' attention and they came to realize they were facing two thieves. And soon they began attacking the two, and Bora had a difficult time in fighting against them and her own sudden aroused blood thirst.
@yoon bora Jaehyo could eliminate majority of them with his handful of knives but it would be really boring to kill without anyone to charge towards him with big swords. Jaehyo decided to wait for some unfortunate knights to get really close to his hiding area before pulling them towards him to their deaths. That way, it prevents him the trouble from getting his knives wasted so easily plus the fact that he have to retrieve the weapons from the enemies body parts. Jaehyo quietly waited for one unlucky knight that was just a few centimeters away from him before he reached his hands out to the figure, muffling his mouth and pulled him towards him, creating a neat line across the brute's neck and dropped the body but the action attracted the others' attention towards his hiding place. "Not good!" Jaehyo smirked as they spotted him.
@ahn jaehyo Rolling her eyes at the male's remark, the girl clicked her tongue in annoyance. "I'm not saying yes for your last statement," the vampire hissed, watching his grip releasing her and the worthy thing and she did so, letting the artifact stay on it's place before hiding under the shadows. It was a bit dark but her sharp senses helped her a lot and she could feel the..--knights?-- are coming closer. Her eyes fixed on the door which was now moving open. Her hand soon pulled her short staff out--it was her weapon, but she had her vampire abilities so she didn't need to worry, at least that's what she thought.
Soon, few knights rushed in, and one of them who seemed to be the leader ordered them to split up exploring the whole room.
@yoon bora "Okay sweetie! We will work together for now but this baby is mine!" Jaehyo lifted a smirked at the female and pointed at the artifact when he said 'baby'. He released his grip from the female and the artifact before rushing to hide in a dark and easily unnoticeable spot to attack the guards. After securing his position, Jaehyo's eyes wandered onto the female and wondering what she would do about the situation at hand. Jaehyo had his hands in his pockets, gripping on his small knives - which he would attack the enemies with, his eyes shifted to the door which slowly opened up. "Welcome to your deaths." Jaehyo mumbled softly, taking out his knives from his pockets, preparing to aim at them from his hidden spot.
@ahn jaehyo "Aissh you--" her words cut by loud footsteps from the outside and she could smell more humans coming over. Cursing under her breath, the girl turned her face gazing over the door before finally forced to glance back to the other because of the sudden grip on her wrist. "No.!" the girl gave him her glare as well, before swishing her hand away from his.
If any of them ever initiate a fight, she knew that instead of winning the artifact, they wouldn't even manage to get out of the castle (probably) alive. "See? no one's gonna get this thing unless we work together." Sounds of more footsteps along with tons of human scents flooded the air soon disturbing her quick thoughts. "They're coming, if they ever catch us we're dead!"
@yoon bora Jaehyo stuck out his tongue at the female. "This baby seems to like me more!" He pulled the artifact back towards him. He isn't going to watch the other take away the precious thing which he had risk his life to enter the rather dangerous kingdom. "I'm not going to let you take it away, nor am I halving it!" Jaehyo eyed the female, giving her a cheeky smile. Jaehyo glanced towards the door when he heard a lot more footsteps coming towards the room. That's when he found out the room isn't soundproof. Their conversation seemed to attract more enemies, but Jaehyo didn't care. He gripped onto the female's wrist, trying to get her fingers off the artifact so that he could hog on it himself. "Let go of this baby now!" Jaehyo glared at the female, pronouncing each word clearly.
@ahn jaehyo An eyebrow arched instantly when the latter called her 'honey', which wasn't something common for her to hear, and soon both brows furrowed after hearing his complete sentence. "No way. I was here first." still having one hand gripping on the goldie thing, the other one pointed on her chest, referring to herself. It sounded seriously stubborn, but it was true, she was there first until she felt the presence of someone else--which now turned out to be another thief before her eyes. Still won't let go of the precious artifact, the female pulled the thing towards herself. No way she could just let the sculpture go, she came all the way from shiro territory and sneaked into such dark well-guarded kingdom only to surrender the thing (that should be hers!) to some unknown thief? Never.
@yoon bora Jaehyo glanced up at when he saw slim fingers wrapping around and gripping tightly onto the golden artifact which he was aiming for and followed the direction to come in contact with its owner. The figure turned out to be a female. She doesn't seem to be human due to her inhuman speed when they grab hold of the artifact at the same time but Jaehyo didn't care as he just wanted the golden artifact for himself. Judging by the action the other was showing, Jaehyo is sure that the female too, is a thief. Jaehyo gave the female a light smirk, "Sorry honey, whatever you are saying, this lovely piece of gold belongs to me and only me!" He exclaimed before he started pulling the precious artifact towards his direction.
@ahn jaehyo It's a human, she could smell the blood running through their veins. And whoever that person was, they're getting closer. Could it be the queen herself? No no no, everybody knows she had left the castle long long ago already, either dead or runaway--she couldn't be more careless since it's not like she lived in kurokage anyways.
Then who? a knight? a butler? or a maid? Hmm, no way they're cleaning the room in such late hours so... a knight? Crap, she had her eyes on the artifact already and she must snatch it now before that knight reached where she was.
Not wanting to waste anymore time, the girl ran towards the golden sculpture to grab it but she felt the other person coming closer as well until her eyes caught a figure of unknown man, with his hand on the sculpture exactly the same time she stuck her hand on the worthy thing. Another thief???
"Hands off, I was here first."
@yoon bora Using his experienced sneaking skills, Jaehyo looked around the room from the window he was clinging on. When he thought the coast was cleared, Jaehyo jumped swiftly, standing on the balanced ground. Due to Jaehyo's often incorrect instincts, he felt a cold chill down his spine as if something is near him. Shrugging off the doubtful sense, Jaehyo had only eyed for the golden artifact he heard about a couple of days ago. His mind was just filled with the thoughts of how to get the golden artifact quickly and easily then selling it to earn a lot more gold which he usually steal. Jaehyo smirked and waste no time rushing to grab hold of the golden artifact which was located in the middle of the room.
@ahn jaehyo It was empty, and dark, so far her senses caught no one around--and it wasn't surprising at all since she knew the former queen had left this room long long ago. But still, even though it was slightly dark in there, she could see how the room was kept well.. and clean.
Not that she wanted to admire it anyways. She was there for something more important... the famous golden artifact of kurokage kingdom, which she had recently heard about. They said it would even worth the queen's crown and she knew it means tons and tons of gold. And yes, she had to get it quick.
However, it seems like she wasn't actually alone there. Her vampiric senses eventually caught the vibe of someone else.
