@kim taehyung. Jongsuk blinked a few times as he tiltied his head slightly to the side, holding back a soft laugh when he realized that the other indeed didn't remember him. "Well... actually about two weeks ago I happened to bump onto you, but I guess you don't remember that, right?" A quite sheepish smile made its way towards Jongsuk's lips - mostly because he would probably look like a creep now for remembering something that has happened so long ago. He didn't mind though, he still felt quite bad for being so rude the other day and now he simply couldn't stop to secretly watch the latter whenever he had the chance to. "Even if you don't remember it, I do... and I'm sorry, I was in a bad day and in a rush..." Once again, Jongsuk lightly held out the coffee to the latter, wanting him to take it no matter what.
@lee jongsuk. Taking the chance to glance back at his equipment that lays untouched where he left it, Taehyung shakes his head to answer. "Yeah, pretty busy. Final papers and things. If it were exams, I wouldn't even be studying." The scoff and shrug that follows is nonchalant, head turning back to face the male on the other side of the counter. It's then that he notices the iced coffee resting in front of him and his neglected card to the side of it. His tongue rolls past his lips as he takes a second to process what happened. "Uh- what?" Taehyung's caught dumbfounded, not sure if he should accept the drink, his posture straightening as he furrows his eyebrows together to display his confusion. "An apology? I'm sorry but you might've gotten the wrong guy," he answers, an awkward chuckle eliciting from him afterwards to lighten the tense aura a bit. He didn't mind a free drink but if it was from a mistake, he'd feel too guilty to accept it, hence their current situation.
@kim taehyung. Jongsuk nodded his head once, not even bothering to register the latter's word on the system, since he was going to give it for free anyway. In a swift move, he quickly started to work on the iced coffee, raising an eyebrow when the latter seemed to notice that he was quite 'off'. At his question, Jongsuk really felt like replying a simple and straight forward 'you', but he knew better than that - he was unsure of what he felt right now, so he wouldn't make any stupid moves - and decided to go with another simple nod of his head. "Yeah..." His gaze then shifted to the other's table, but he never looked again straight in the other's eyes. "But you also seem to be busy, hm? Finals, maybe?" Even before Jongsuk noticed, he was done with the coffee and it was now or never - his chance to apologise. Rather slowly, he handed the iced coffee to the younger, clearing his throat a bit. "I... it's actually for free... as an apology for what happened a few weeks ago."
@lee jongsuk. Taehyung can't help the smug smirk that tugs onto his coral dyads, a glint of amusement forming in the pits of his obsidian orbs as he follows the older towards the register. It could be the way he seems dazed, probably focused on more stressful topics, or the way he seemed to forget the order Taehyung had requested just a few seconds prior. "A coffee," he repeats, hands slipping into the back pocket of his jeans to withdraw his wallet, "But I guess that's not specific enough." Pondering his options for a second, fingers twirling the card that he's plucked out, Taehyung speaks with a light shrug of his shoulders, "Iced coffee. Light and sweet." He slides the card over to the male before propping his elbow up on the counter top, chin resting on his open palm. "Something seems to be on your mind, huh?"
@kim taehyung. Jongsuk eyes remained closed, when he heard a voice close to him though he slowly fluttered them open, only to widen them once again. For a second, he felt like something got stuck in his throat, not being able to say anything at all. As the seconds went by, he gulped softly, quickly nodding twice. "Y-Yeah, of course." The words came out almost as a whisper as he quickly straightened himself up, walking over to the counter, trying his best to not let their gazes meet again. Jongsuk thought that it'd be better if he asked someone else to take the latter's order, but then he knew he couldn't run away from it - just now he was thinking of how he should make up for what happened before, even if the latter didn't remember, right? So instead of asking for someone else, he took a deep breath and turned to face the younger once again. "Okay- what would you like to have?" His voice was a lot more stable now, which he was glad for.
@kunpimook bhuwakul. /a soft chuckle leaves my lips when I listen to you curse once I approach you, reaching out to lightly tap the napkin on the stained spot on your shirt, even though your korean is pretty fluent, I still manage to listen to something slightly different in it/
you're not korean... are you?
/the question leaves my lips almost right away, followed by a sheepish chuckle as I obviously was too straight forward, even so, I give you a few more napkins/
I'm sorry- I mean... I've lived for a long time overseas so I kinda notice these things...
@lee jongsuk. Upon the lack of response he got, both from the male and the waitress, Taehyung used his hands to push his chair away from the table he was seated at. The noise, unpleasant, made him flinch but he kept a monotonous expression otherwise. If he was gonna finish this paper by tomorrow morning, he would need another cup of coffee- or two. Taking note of the male who had caught his attention, now suddenly having both eyes sealed shut, Taehyung observed the uniform fitted onto his figure. Perhaps he should get the awkward encounter out of the way, the request of another drink being the perfect excuse to start the conversation. Deciding to do so, Taehyung walked leisurely towards him, whose youthfully vibrant countenance contrasted the apparent build of his body. "Uh," he begins, not so intellectually, one hand on the counter top and another curled around the nape of his neck. "Could I order another cup of coffee?" He asks, unsure of how to direct the conversation from that towards their brief exchange of glances earlier.
@lee jongsuk. /the scent of the same coffee takes over my entire being for the third time this week alone as i wait for my turn to order, wallet all ready on my hand as i take a good look around the cozy area, the fresh atmosphere created by the natural lighting and the friendly tinkle of people conversing only adding to my already good mood; once it's my turn to voice out the usual, rather minimal words - 'caramel frappuccino, decaf please' - i give the exact sum and wait for my beverage to be made, absentminded fingertips drumming against the sleek counter, however after i get the coffee i barely get to take two steps before i've managed to get some of the drink on the front of my shirt, a rather loud groan emitting from my frowning lips
oh for 's sake- not today, god dammit.
@kim taehyung. Jongsuk only noticed that he was probably staring quite hard when their gazes met, his eyes widened slightly and he quickly looked away, feeling his heart skip a beat once again, even feeling his cheeks slightly heat up. He honestly hated that feeling, he just wanted to throw himself in front of the next car driving by, because damn he was 27 years old, not some in love teenager. And he didn't even know the other, why would on Earth he be in love with some stranger? Shaking his head a few times as he shut his eyes closed, Jongsuk tried to think of a simple way to get this over with. In fact he wanted to apologize with the latter - but the other seemed like he didn't even remember Jongsuk, which somewhat made Jongsuk feel glad - and he just needed to focus on that. The other was probably going to ask for another coffee, should Jongsuk just give it for free to him, maybe? That would a nice way of showing the other that he was sorry, at least Jongsuk thought so. These thoughts kept running through his mind as he kept his eyes shut - knowing that like that he wouldn't accidentally stare at the younger, not wanting to make things more awkward than they already were.
@lee jongsuk. There was something about the aura in the little cafe downtown that provided a sense of security and serenity to Taehyung. Whether it be the volume, locked at hushed whispers, or the aesthetically pleasing visuals, he found himself frequently visiting the place-- even more so than the library. Perhaps it wasn't the wisest decision, working on his delayed thesis in a public space, vulnerable to distractions and disturbances, but Taehyung didn't really care. He leaned against the back support of the chair, cushioned by his side bag resting behind him on it, elbows bent and extremities tapping away at his thin keyboard, a look of unbreakable concentration dominating his visage. Upon reaching the end of the paragraph, he grabbed for his neglected coffee cup, off put when realizing it was empty and that he had to order more. Finally tearing his eyes away from his little haven, he raised a hand lazily, attempting to catch the attention of a passing waitress when instead his eyes caught the gaze of a male two tables down. Arm still hoisted in the air, Taehyung made a look as if to say 'can i help you?', not really expecting a response and more so doing it to rid him of jitters.
@kunpimook bhuwakul. /a small sigh leaves my lips as I try to focus on the papers in front of me - even though I don't have to worry much about the cafe, I still spend every single time I can in it, which makes me know who usually visits/
/as I catch a glimpse of you, maybe for the second or third time, I smile to myself hoping that another person enjoyed the place enough to become a usual costumer - and I didn't even notice that I stopped worrying about the papers and started to pay attention to you instead/
/only when you seem to spill out your coffee, I notice so, scrunching up my nose slightly as I stop one of the waiters from going over to help you to clean up, reaching for some napkins to do the job myself/
@kim taehyung. Jongsuk wasn't even sure of why he has been doing that lately - staying still behind the counter and silently watching a single costumer. The person probably didn't even knowledge him even if it has been two weeks now, but he still couldn't help himself from feeling sorry and some other thing that he couldn't really describe towards the other guy. Jongsuk felt like his heartbeat would increase slightly whenever the other walked into the cafe - he even counted the minutes to see the latter, because now it was very often for him to come at the cafe by that time, which got Jongsuk waiting, always waiting. He wasn't sure of why he felt like that exactly, he never really bothered to pay anyone proper attention. Maybe it was because of the small incident that happened two weeks ago that had him feeling sorry and caring a bit more about the younger. A soft sigh escaped his lips as he finally decided to go back to work on his papers, every now and then glancing at the latter, a couple of tables away. Jongsuk wanted to apologize for being rude, but he couldn't bring himself to, he didn't even know how to approach the latter.
@choi youngjae. Jongsuk's eyes managed to catch a figure walking away down the road, but he didn't pay much attention to that when he noticed that someone indeed fell to the ground and it was a girl - or at least he thought so - which made him quickly walk over the person, a small frown on his face when the caught a glimpse of the latter's hurt knee. "Hey- are you okay?" In a swift movement, he managed to wrap the other's arm around his shoulder after he kneeled down, so he could help the latter up properly. "That was quite rude indeed..." He mumbled softly, only then noticing that the person he was helping out was actually a guy - he had to admit that he nearly was fooled there - but he didn't mind though, he lived overseas for a long time, enough to have seen a lot of things.
@lee jongsuk. It is one of those day where Youngjae feel the strong urge to be himself, to dress however he love and to be free. After all he will be meeting his bestfriend today, so he decided to wear a simple white dress, 2 inches white heels and a wavy blond wig to complete his look. They hung out until it become pretty late before he decide to head home. The day went well, but unfortunately on his way home he bumped into someone and fall. He hiss in pain, his right knee bleeding from the impact while the person whom he bumped into just walked away. "Rude." Youngjae muttered before trying to stand up but fail to do so.
@choi youngjae. It was already past seven by the time Jongsuk managed to leave the cafe - he always liked to stay for a little longer to simply enjoy his time alone, something that he quite missed, since nowadays the cafe always seemend to be busy. Just as he locked the door and started to make his way towards his car Jongsuk heard a small noise - more like something or someone tripping and probably falling to the ground, that part he didn't quite get for being too immersed in his thoughts. In a swift turn, he was facing the direction of the noise, eyes searching for what could have possibly caused that noise.
