well, if you think of the dramarama music video, it was 2047 when wonho was traveling back and forth. we dont know when minhyuk went back, but we know kihyun went back to 2015 (we can assume kihyun started in 2017). more likely than not, from around 2020 until 2040, time travel was being worked on. from 2035-2040, people were being tested on. and in 2040, it was finally perfected.

more likely than not, it took place in government buildings all over the city. some on the outskirts of seoul, others smack dab in the middle. it mostly depended on where the people they could test on mostly resided. and for the most part, that was on the outskirts.
03. what was the ideal test subject like?
for the most part, they were people who didn't really have much. the government started with levelheaded people, but as they began to break and crumble (and die, for that matter) they started getting their hands on anyone they could have. after a while, the test subjects may have been orphans, druggies, drunks, etc.
