@❉｡ k. jisoo although she still doesn't know whether or not she's actually allowed to do this jiwoo uses the meeting room anyways. like every time she visits she places her phone on the table, screen down, so the speaker is unblocked. it doesn't play loud like in a studio, but it's enough for her to feel the beat. setting her bag of spare clothes down near the window she smiles at the warmth of the sunshine streaking in through the curtains. there's definitely nothing that feels better, and, upon standing to stretch, she remains near the glass just a little longer to absorb the warmth.

when she's done stretching jiwoo makes quick work of setting up her music, picking out the only song in her downloads that was actually sung by her. she'd been preparing a new dance to go along with it, but so far she'd only built it up to the first chorus - that's why she needed to practice today.

setting the phone down once again jiwoo steps into the open space between the long table and the windows, reaching above her head one more time before the music starts. immediately she's moving into the first set of steps, heartbeat getting faster with anticipation even though no one is here to see her. jiwoo knows it's almost counterproductive to be dancing without a mirror, but she does so anyways, at one point even closing her eyes for a few seconds just to feel the movements she's making.

it's only when the music ends that she stops, but not because of the music itself. no, normally jiwoo would keep going, making it up as she goes. she stopped because when the music cut off she heard something from outside the door. turning her attention to the entrance she blinks, seeing nothing in the window. jiwoo wouldn't have known there was someone out there if not for the singular piece of paper that managed to slip under the door.

slowly approaching the paper she knelt down to pick it up, and, after a moment's hesitation, stood and reached out to open the door. doing her best not to appear nervous at the prospect of who might be outside she gathered herself before opening the door. "hello?" she asked, opening it further to peek out and see if anyone was there.

@❉｡k. jiwoo after the first few weeks of being here at the penitentiary, jisoo was finally beginning to accustom herself to the environment that contrasted so starkly with her previous workplace. her brief encounters with a few of the inmates revealed just how serious she should be taking her role - if her work could even make the slightest difference in their lives, it would all be worth it. it was with this thought in mind that she was able to bear the hours drawing up lesson plans, thinking of new teaching devices, and even giving extra one-on-one attention where needed.

with the limited privacy and access the prison offered, the lone meeting room became a sort of office for jisoo - she'd head straight there after coming to work every morning. this morning was no different... yet strangely enough, in the hallway, someone's voice could be heard from the usually empty room. stacks of papers and files on hand, she peeks through the small glass window, hoping to catch a glance of who may be in the room.

all jisoo sees at first is a petite figure moving across the center of the room in dance, her dark brown curls flouncing about cutely. mesmerized, her eyes follow the girl's motions, unable to tear her gaze away from the performance yet also unable to enter the room and introduce herself. in this moment, she's a statue, or perhaps a hypnotized fool, entranced by her beauty and grace.

it's too late to do anything when her folders begin to slip from her grasp and fall to the floor, making a mess outside the door. immediately dropping to the ground, she begins picking up the papers, hoping whoever it was inside wouldn't have heard what just happened.
