@hyejin a｡ᵖᵉʳˢᵉᵖʰᵒⁿᵉ A coffee shop is perhaps the last place you'd ever find him, but if there's one thing Jaeduck can't resist it's a warm atmosphere that offers sugary sweets along with it. Caramel-cinnamon scents and soft cushions lull him into a half-awake state where it's hard to keep his eyes open. Jaeduck could never fall asleep here, but he's teetering on the very edge - so it's only when his shoulder his gently nudged that he comes to his senses a little. He shakes his head and tilts it up, regarding the female next to him with a few sleepy blinks. "Not yet," he eventually responds, his 'yet' becoming drawn out with a yawn before he nods. "I want to though. Just...without the coffee. Caffeine doesn't really do it for me. Hot chocolate though..." It brings a smile to his face, this thought. "I bet they'd be good with hot chocolate."

@sehun o｡ᵃᵖᵒˡˡᵒ While finishing her order, Selena was once again taken aback by Sehun’s question, gaze shifting to his hand that was extended to her then back to his face. ....How could she decline such a request? The corners of her roseate tiers tugged upwards and she raised her mug to her lips while slowly straightening up and off of the chair - all before settling it down after finishing it. Taking her hand with his, just like before, her fingers intertwined with his own before wrapping his arm around her neck with a satisfied hum. “Let’s go, handsome.” Her own words had a grin settling upon her lips while stepping forward, her free arm extending to open the door while humming along to the quiet tune of music in the distance.

@selena g｡ᵃᵖʰʳᵒᵈᶦᵗᵉ Lifting the warm mug to his lips, he reveled in the sweet, yet bitter taste of the caramel mocha. Finishing off his bagel, he downed it with the remainder of his beverage. "Those sound like wonderful things to scratch off of your bucket list...need help?" He offered, a smug grin plastered on his countenance as he stood up from his chair, placing enough currency on the table to cover both of their meals as he offered a hand to the goddess. "That sounds like quite a few things to complete and we're losing daylight, angel." His tone was lax, almost teasing, and his mind was racing with what order to complete the list of activities ahead: hot tub would definitely fall last as it would be used to relax. Perhaps the Eiffel tower love lock trip would be their next stop. The pair weren't far from the tower.

@jaeduck k｡ʰʸᵖⁿᵒˢ It’s so *warm*. The hot brew radiates from the depths of her cup, her nose huffs at the aroma that courses its way up, and up from the tiny hole in the plastic top. It burns her tongue, but it’s refreshing, and promises a good day. Hyejin’s eyes flicker towards the sleepy man beside her, looking up to him as she tries to coerce him to get some sort of caffeine, and to share this moment with her. “Have you tried the scones? They’re very good. Especially when you dip a little bit of it into the coffee.” Coffee is sung as her shoulder brushes up against his, and her laughter is light. “You should try it, if only a little. Caffeine does wonders to the body.”

@sehun o｡ᵃᵖᵒˡˡᵒ Leaning back in her seat, Selena’s sapphire orbs followed the movement of his fingers, her own hand turning around so that the tips of her fingers could play with his own. Her pearly whites sunk into her lower lip while her smile etched a bit wider. “Me?” She questioned, soon humming in thought while also sipping her drink. “I dunno, there’s so much to do. I wanna go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, and put a love lock up there. Visit some museums, run around in the middle of the night. Things like that.” The thought had a quiet laugh escaping her lips, shoulders shrugging in a halfhearted way.

@selena g｡ᵃᵖʰʳᵒᵈᶦᵗᵉ Whether consciously or not, Selena's gentle graze of her fingertip along his knuckle sent blaring signals to Sehun's brain of intentional flirtation. He rested his head in his hand, the digits of his free hand dancing along the back of her knuckles. "I truly do." His voice was hushed so that only the two of them could hear the exchange.In the midst of the entire interaction, he had forgotten about his order entirely and made an attempt to spread the cream cheese on his bagel and to begin eating it. "So- aside from our plans for tonight, what do you plan on doing while we're here?"

@sehun o｡ᵃᵖᵒˡˡᵒ To say that his compliment was unexpected seemed to be an understatement. It took a moment for her to process what he said, but when she did, the tint of her cheeks sunk into a light pink, eyes falling from his gaze to look at her drink. Though, Selena hoped that he wouldn't see how her lips curved into a cheeky grin, pearly whites sinking into her lower lip in attempt to hold it back. Pondering over what to say next, the woman simply attempted to compose herself while her gaze followed her fingertips grazing upon the handle of the mug before the tip of her index finger extended to lightly nudge upon the back of Sehun's knuckles. Her smile was soft and faint while her gaze raised once more, before softly questioning. "You really think so?"

@selena g｡ᵃᵖʰʳᵒᵈᶦᵗᵉ Sehun found himself absorbed in her response, admiring her mere passion for an emotion like love. Granted, she was the goddess of love, but it always made his heart flutter when seeing someone speak about something that they were incredibly passionate about. "You are honestly the most adorable thing on the planet." He muttered, not realizing that he was thinking out loud. "I mean- of course you are-- you're the goddess of love- I...I'm not making this any better for myself am I?" He continued, shaking his to and fro with an embarrassed chuckle, a rosy hue painting the curvature of his cheeks. To refrain from any more embarrassment, he took a sip from his caramel mocha, hoping that it would occupy his lips long enough to avoid thinking out loud again.

@sehun o｡ᵃᵖᵒˡˡᵒ Raising her sandwich, Selena took a bite of it while watching the male across from her speak. Her head dipped forward in a nod while her gaze continued to sink into his own. "Mm, yeah i've definitely noticed." The girl murmured softly after swallowing the food in . The glittery reflection within his own chocolate like orbs looked spectacular, and she was sure if she looked too long, she'd sink within the pool of his orbs. "I think my favorite part is, i'm afraid it's predictable, but all of the love. I think if I were a city, it'd be this one. It's romantic, and there's so much love. It's like, there's no negativity or anything. I guess it's typical for a hopeless romantic like me to say such things. But what can I say, right? I love love." An almost sheepish smile set upon her tiers, gaze shifting while her fingertips tapped upon the glass of her mug.

@selena g｡ᵃᵖʰʳᵒᵈᶦᵗᵉ Her inquiry was unexpected- he should have expected small talk. His mind was a flurry of thoughts, trying to answer the inquiry truthfully. "My favorite part of Paris...I think it'd have to be just the overall atmosphere of the town. It's nice to get away from the hustle-bustle of school life to relax. This place just gives off this 'go with the flow' type of feeling. Have you noticed? It's like there isn't a need to do anything but enjoy life and love." he replied, eyes glimmering with a golden glint: a reflection of the outside architecture appearing in his eyes.

@sehun o｡ᵃᵖᵒˡˡᵒ Selena was at a loss of words while her eyes followed the gold sparkle of the Eiffel Tower, lips twitching upwards just the slightest in response to his words. Perhaps she was oblivious, yet, there was something about his aura that had her heart fluttering. Turning her attention away from the tower, she thanked the waitress and was also sure to tip her before raising her glass to sip from it - a heavy hum of content slipping through her lips. "So," She began, fingertips nudging her hair behind her ear before raising her gaze to look into Sehun's own. "What's your favorite part of Paris so far?"

@selena g｡ᵃᵖʰʳᵒᵈᶦᵗᵉ Following her gaze, Sehun glanced out of the window, taking in the sight of the Eiffel Tower as it loomed over the city in all of its glory. However, he found his gaze wavering to dance along Selena's facial features, following the curve of her cheek as it disappears into her peripheral, her irises fascinated with the scene just outside of the window. He found that the beautiful scene that he wanted to occupy his attention with happened to sitting across from him. "I- yes. It's very beautiful." He muttered, averting his gaze from her as the waitress returned to their table with the pair's orders. He thanked her, offering her a tip for her impeccable service.

@sehun o｡ᵃᵖᵒˡˡᵒ she lightly clicked her tongue, fingertips drumming against the table while her gaze trailed over the menu in search for something good. tilting her head upwards with a wide smile towards the waitress, she went ahead and ordered an iced latte with roughly around three pumps of cinnamon dulce, followed by a double smoked bacon egg and cheddar sandwich.
“me too,” she responded with a light smile, an elbow propped upon the edge of the table while her chin perched upon her palm - gaze looking out the window. “plus, look at this view. it’s beautiful,” she murmured, motioning to the Eiffel Tower with a dreamy sigh.

Following her with each step, Sehun sat across the booth from her, offering her a warm smile. He flipped through the menu that sat on the table, pondering what he would choose.He ultimately decided on a bagel with cream cheese and a caramel mocha. After relaying his order to the waitress, he glanced over the table at her, awaiting her to order as well.
"I like the atmosphere of this place. Quaint, yet sophisticated."

she’d never felt more refreshed before. inwardly, she wondered why the two never spent more time together, but then again, it was kind of self explanatory. everyone in the family had their own problems to work out, so it made sense that they hadn’t. but she was thankful for the time now.
