@Xingye After showing up, day after day to buy flowers for no reason other than to see the beautiful face he was now alone with, the doctor finally found himself in the exact situation he wanted to be in. The two of them were alone and the images of Xingye's black hair spread out across the bed in this tiny space was an one he now wanted to see more. "Indeed I do..." He forces himself to look away finally, observing the plants around them as he tried to make his inching closer to the fellow Chinese seem inconspicuous. When his eyes finally met the others again, he found that their bodies were dangerously close. Close enough for him to touch the long black hair entangled between Xingye's tiny little fingers. "Say..." His voice grew somewhat sultry and flirtatious. "If we were to make an noise back here, who would be able to hear us?" He couldn't help it. It may not have been appropriate, but surely it was obvious that he had a crush. No person ordered 5 dozen bouquets of flowers every night. He didn't necessarily have anyone to give them to and If anything, they just sat around, in the houses vases until the maids finally threw them away from their decay. "These aren't normal plants though are they? This is a hidden room... no? I didn't think of you to be the type."
@Godfrey Gao Xingye bit down yet another laugh, tapping his well-kept nails on the dry wooden counter and straightened his spine. What an old-fashioned way of flirting, so constrained. Nevertheless, an unreadable smile on his lips he gently clasped his hand around the man's and led him around the counter. He didn't let go of his hand as he approached the door to the back, turning to smile at the man as he pushed the door open with his back. Without any resistance, the heavy-looking door gave way, revealing a backroom that did not resemble a greenhouse at all. It was a living area, a small one, with a roomy bed. All the furniture was adorned with flourishing plants, blooming in all shades of colours. Pots of plants littered the floor making the place look messier and smaller than it was. When walking in deeper one's path was eventually caught off and one was met with a sea of flowers, separated from the rest only by a thick plastic curtain. Xingye pulled him the man in further and further until they stood right at the centre of this sea and only then released his hand. "Here we are!" With a small, happy smile he stepped back and twirled, arms stretched out, fabric and long, silky hair flying as if to show off his little kingdom. He came to a stop and d his long hair back over his shoulder. "Do you like it?" Xingye silently wondered why he was showing the man this. He had originally planned to stop in his living quarters and offer him a glass of wine. What was the point of actually showing him his collection of flowers he deemed most beautiful?
@Xingye Had it of been apparent that the neighborhoods beloved tranny was indeed involved in a relationship, Godfrey probably would never have said a word to him in the first place. After all, he was a lot of things, but he would not knowingly take part in the destruction of a relationship through unfaithfulness. And unknowingly smitten by another man's man, he was too far gone to be told anything other than the things he wanted to hear. Xingye was a gorgeous specimen and despite the rumors and whispers of the neighborhood around them, he was certain other men were curious to know about him too. "Indeed... she does..." It's partially a mumble as his thoughts seem to shift into a darker, dirtier mindset. Godfrey smiled, leaning against the counter as if to mimic the pretty man before him, using his hand as a head rest before speaking in Chinese. "More pretty flowers to look at? You mean I get to see your secret lair?" His arms crossed over his chest as he stood up once more. "Lead the way my dear, I'll follow you~"
@Godfrey Gao Xingye couldn't deny, he didn't mind the doctor's approaches. Ever since he'd found out the neighbourhood nickname for him 'flower shop tranny' his mood had been completely ruined. How dare they! Xingye didn't consider himself entirely narcissistic, but wasn't the term tranny a bit undeserving of his wonderful looks? He had just needed this to boost his confidence a little, especially with his boyfriend out of town. Although his boyfriend sent him flowers every day, the idiot, who sends flowers to a flower boutique, that cheap show of affection didn't mean Xingye would forgive him for sleeping around. And he did. All the time. Xingye knew it. He /smelled/ like them and the things he did in bed kept changing as well. Well, no matter. He would deal with his boyfriend when he got back next week, what to do with this lovely doctor before him right now? "You do?", he quirked a brow, laughing. "An answer to what, my dear nerd?" Xingye was almost entirely he had mispoke and had meant to say he wanted Xingye to answer... but the Chinese wasn't kind-hearted enough to let it go. "Hmm~" Xingye watched the man smell the flowers, his lips curling up into a sweet smile. "How kind of you to invest in my little business." He was only 30% mocking the man. The amount of money Xingye made from selling flowers was miniscule in comparison to what he meant selling his real inventory. Still, he was happy he could run a flower shop. He thought they were pretty and they smelled nice, he liked taking care of the plants... it helped suppress the murderous thoughts he had about his adulterous boyfriend. Xingye leaned onto the counter with one arm, his sharp chin resting on his fingertips. "Oh~ I'm flattered. 'Your daughter' has good taste.", he cooed with a smile. Was Xingye imagining it or was the man blushing? Hmm, no, it was just the light playing tricks. The Chinese kept his eyes trained on the man's face, not bothering to mask his stare. He tilted his head to the side and bit down on the inside of his cheek. Hmmm. "Would you like to see my greenhouse?", he asked suddenly, softly, probing to see how the man would react. "It's right in the back.", he bit down a smirk.
@Xingye Probably a bit more feisty than that of what he'd been used to, but he would take it. Most people he approached ran away from him when he mentioned having a child, but the shop owner had to know about his daughter at this point. She'd come in many times before and even helped with the arrangements. Godfrey gave the other a perfect, pearly white smile, tucking his hands deep down into his pockets. Most would probably find it a little pathetic to hit on the flower shop tranny, as the neighborhood called him, but perhaps he hadn't been laid in so long, it didn't matter. "This nerd feels compelled to give you an answer." The doctor reached foreword to take one of the banquets, still somewhat smiling at the pretty male before him. "Now..now.. You can't say naughty things and just decide to be nice. I don't think I'll accept that~" He played as well, lifting the flowers to his lips. "And I suppose you can just think of me as an investor." Going to the smaller shops around town was something he did often. Supporting them made him feel better than not doing so and allowing bigger companies to completely wipe them out. Godfrey cleared his throat somewhat awkwardly. He was being too obvious by coming onto him so strong. "Yafang thinks your pretty... she talks about you even when we don't drop by." He used his daughters name to substitute his own feelings.
@Godfrey Gao Even if he didn't seem like the bright, cheery type, Godfrey often didn't things that surprised people. Though, if it's anything he could help, he did these things without their knowledge. For weeks, he'd been buying flowers here and taking them to the rooms of various patients early in the morning. Namely the ones with few, to no visitors, but perhaps a few others as well. Being alone in this cruel world was something Godfrey knew all too well. Maybe if others were allowed that kind of happiness, they would do something with their lives, just like he did. "I'll take 5 dozen of the white roses, please." It was late as it usually was when he came in, the sun setting and reminding him the work day had come to an end as well. His tall frame, towered above the man's behind the counter, not by much, but a little and despite his request for flowers, his face did not reflect anything other than the stoic expression it always did. "I'm surprised you can keep up the roses with how much I come in an order them." His body now leans against the counter as pulls out his wallet. "I've been in here quite a bit and I still haven't asked your name. I'm Doctor Godfrey Gao.." The man insisted placing the doctor in front of his name as it really seemed to grab the attention of potential suitors, as well as his apparent ideal type... "Gold diggers"

Xing was dressed as androgynously as ever, flowing fabrics flowing around his figure. He was grooming flowers, one little snip at a time when a voice resounded through the open flower boutique. He turned, his long brown hair slipping from his shoulders down the small of his back. He cracked a friendly smile and approached the collection of white roses, his fingertips trailing along the dustless cherry wood furniture until his delicate fingers wrapped around the stalk of a single white rose. He raised it so the moist petals' scent wafted around him. Xing lingered light for a moment and then picked out five dozen white roses, arranging a dozen at a time into a bouquet. He smiled to himself when the man asked his name and turned to hand him the first of the bouquets. "A doctor... What is a nerd doing with so many flowers?", he chuckled, his mocking tone a stark contrast to the gentle look on his face. Xing didn't answer the question. He wanted to know his name? He was going to have to try harder than that. The prom queen doesn't just any handsome jock. He ce more, two fresh bouquets in hand and smiled up at the man. "I'm just kidding. I'll be nice because you make up 80% of my legal revenue."
