@+ nam joohyuk Lily had pulled into the gas station, ready to fill up her tank for the rest of the week for work. Gas prices were ridiculous, and the soft grumblings under her breath didn't really help to make it better either. The fill-up was quick, and last minute, decided to go inside the convenience store to grab a couple of snacks and a drink. It was pretty empty inside, and the greeting by the familiar cashier who has known her for quite a while. "Hey Lily Mae.", "G'evening!" she muttered with a wide smile before she began to walk around the aisle, looking for something suitable for her to eat, and maybe drink. Lily was pretty quick in what she wanted, she just wanted to buy her things and leave so she could read the penpal letter she received earlier, and decided to open it when she got back. The thought made her bob up and down a bit as she leaned over to grab her favorite snack, pringles, pretzels and coca cola. She heard the door bell ringing as another person came in and automatically, she took a quick glance to see who it was -- a tall male who seemed to be jogging -- before looking away and heads over to the cashier. "Did you find everything okay?" The cashier asked and Lily nodded rather fervently. "Yep. I just can't wait to get home. I got a letter waiting for me by my penpal." she informed as she took out her card and the cashier explained with a grin, winking an eye at her. "Anything going on that I should know, Lily Mae? Spill the beans." this made Lily laugh and she shook her head, waving her hands about. "No, no. He's a penpal. A friend I guess you could say. He's really amazing. I'll tell you all about it the next time I come in. How does that sound?" The cashier nodded and laughed. "Sound great. Here's the total." Lily swiped her card and pressed numerous buttons before receiving her receipt. She bid farewell and waved before heading on out to the car.
@: lily macapinlac On nights such as these where his mind and his heart became restless, Joohyuk would often dedicate his time in finding out his own methods of unspoken remedies to put him at ease. Tugging out the earbuds he had safely tucked behind his ears and shoved them in his pockets, he slides the hood down from his jacket and dusted off the wetness left on his shoulders from the rain. There were always a few daring people to jog late at night like he did, which he would often wonder if they dealt with the same situation he did. While walking towards the gas station, from the corner of his eyes he caught a glimpse of a dark yet accurate sticker of what portrayed the legendary and horrific, Frankenstein. The first person he thought of made him stood there in disbelief - part of him denying that the world could be this small to stumble upon this person. But yet, knowing what he knew... and due to the fact that it wasn't even around Halloween, he couldn't help but ponder about this pen pal of his. 'If it was her, we went by nicknames so how would I even know? It can't be.' He told himself repeatedly as he shook his head at the thought, gripped at the strings to his jacket and made his way inside of the station. Since it was pretty late outside, there wasn't as many people as he thought there would have been.
@: park jimin he spit to the ground, his jaw knocked pretty hard by the insecure who threw the first punch - it was not uncommon for this city to treat him like trash, and as spiteful as yongguk wanted to be, he knew it was karma. karma for his one, big, foolish sin. he roars and surges forward, his balled up fist meeting the other's stomach - the abrasive stranger's shirt wet and ice cold with yongguk's spilt blue icee: the cause of the scuffle. he looks around at the few spectators gathered and yongguk stands beside the fallen, coughing stranger, before matter-of-factly (almost comedically) asking, "paramedics, anyone? doctors? anyone?" it's the middle of the night, and this was NOT how yongguk had planned for it to go.
