Ritsuka it is, then. I've tried to kick the habit of calling people by their work names unless it's with work. Though you said you work for a security organization? I guess we're basically in the same field. So that means I've got your back, too, Ritsuka. *he smiled warmly and reached out to pat the smaller male on the back in solidarity*
Well, It's nice to meet you, Shiro! /he chirps happily and laughs softly/
Me? I'm good with either Fujimaru or Ritsuka. whichever makes you feel more comfortable. i'm more chill about it, but thank you for asking!
a cop? something i was supposed to become and actually began training for. I dropped out and applied to a security organization. Let's just say.... hit the fan and i ended up as one of the last active members that could go onto the field. So it was kind of up to me and a few others for recruiting and things like that. i guess i got so used to everything being chaotic and that there was always something to do, that I still apply it now.
so yeah, we are both in the same boat, somewhat. I appreciate it when someone else helps makes sure that I don't end up with a bullet in my body. Imagine that nightmare.
Actually, most people call me Shiro. Picked it up back when I was in the service and it just kinda stuck. What about you? *he asked curiously, knowing that there could be such a cast difference between preference in Japan and he didn't want to offend the other accidentally* you sound a lot like me. I'm a cop, so my life depends on someone having my back. As for being more cautious, maybe it just comes with age?
/he smiles easily and easily responds with/ that's right! Do you prefer me calling you shirogane or takashi? Or any nickname you're more comfortable with? /he asked curiously and politely/ I just figured to ask so i know what you'd like to be referred to as, cause some people prefer different names, others prefer more casual or more polite.
with our occupation? having a second family with them is a given almost, cause we needed to trust each other with each other's backs. I don't make it very easy for them to look after me either, but they're very persistent.
but it seems like something happened where you became more careful? if you don't feel comfortable with answering that it's completely fine!
It's nice that you basically have a second family that's looking after you at work. I've been lucky as well to have people like that by my side, too. Even if I uh... might not exactly make it easy for them to look after me. *his gaze shifted guiltily and he reached up to rub at his nape. Sometimes he could be very self destructive when it came to his work habits, but he'd had no choice in being more cautious once he became a parent*
Fujimaru san? Heh, sorry if my Japanese is a bit rusty.
It's been a while since I've had to speak it.
I'm Shirogane Takashi. It's nice to meet another workaholic.
*chuckles*
see? someone who gets me! /he exclaims excitedly and a wide grin on his lips/ I mean, the work was quite alot and sometimes pretty rough. But everyone there made it worth it. I'm pretty lucky where I got to have almost all my coworkers and I really, really close, even to the point where we have this...kinda group parenting kind of thing? i guess that's also explains their whole protective thing with me and making me take a couple days off.....and making sure i'm eating or drinking enough water. You know, getting caught up in work, sometimes forgetting to eat.
ah-- /he paused and laughed a bit nervously/
never introduced myself
i'm fujimaru ritsuka, it's nice to meet you!
