@bae joohyun。 dishes clacking, water boiling, people talking, the scent of dark roasted coffee beans was the first thing you'd notice as you pull the glass door open, the bell above ringing as you come in. the cafe was filled with people, not so much to the brim, but there were people on their laptops on the couch, the tables, and the counters that faced outside into the dimming sunlight. it was near evening and although it was a mistake for changwook to drink coffee after 4PM, he made the exception for his date. there was a lot for the two to talk about.
changwook was kind enough to pull open the door for his date, letting her ahead of himself in line while he held the door for a few other people exiting the cafe. he was all smiles. he always was when he was around strangers, his date included. he made sure to hurry to her side so she wouldn't feel awkward or abandoned, making her notice him as he pressed her back with his palm, making sure that she wouldn't bump into the people that were getting in line behind them. "hey," he called out as he quietly brushed her hands off of her, unsure of how she felt about physical contact. "did i make you wait long?" he joked with his stupid, smug smile, as he was barely gone for a few moments. changwook stuffed his hands in his pockets as he shifted his eye contact from joohyun to the menu, rocking on his heels as he awkwardly tried to make small talk. "do you know what you're going to get?" he asked, looking back to her with his eyebrow perked, his dry lips as he calmly brushed off the anxiety of the date.
/the girl wanders around at the street before she eventually stepping inside the cafe and standing in queue, soft hum escaped from her lips as her eyes squinted at the menu and scanning it briefly.
