@✼ park bosung glad to see bosung drinking - as he should be - taehyung couldn't help the small, almost-tired smile that situated itself against his lips. "yeah, just give me tonight. i'll have an answer for you by morning." that is, if she was willing to talk to him. even after all these years taehyung couldn't be completely sure - she was as fickle as she was powerful. torn from his wondering at the feeling of the hunter's intense stare he subconsciously tensed up. people always did this - always looked at him and saw only kutjatel, as if taehyung didn't even exist as his own person. a mere conduit for the being they all feared. "it's alright," he responds, voice showing only hints of his internal feelings as he glances towards the forest, eventually shoving those thoughts down as he comes to finally face bosung. taehyung refrains from speaking about how she doesn't even allow him in the forest, and instead nods once or twice, his eyes sliding over bossung's face, from the crease of his brow to the point of his chin. he adds 'ask kutjatel about his sister' to his mental to-do list, shrugging once and filing the thought away for later. "if she's controlling me, then i have been my whole life. it's not all that bad since it's all i've ever known."

@✼ kim taehyung he happily accepts the bottle of water, guzzling the prisitine liquid down his throat as small streams trickle from the corners of his chapped lips and to the earth. "could you?" he asks, setting the bottle aside as he pants, taking a moment to collect himself before sitting up properly. "i'll have to net only a few rabbits... i must be careful with how many i harvest from the woods, or else the wolves and bears will have a taste for our flesh--much less having to face the wrath of her once more." he murmurs as if to himself, yet he shoots a sharp gaze at the other due to his stress of the upcoming change of the seasons. "no one else is dying under my watch, okay? we can't count the food from outside as dependable." however, he soon snaps out of his serious demeanor, visage softening as quickly as it had toughened. "sorry, taehyung. everyone in the village must feel on edge at this state of affairs." his gaze turns downcast, observing how the water purified by the city mixes with the pools of the deer's blood. however at taehyung's offer, he swiftly shakes his head, gaze unmoving from its position of the earth. "no, you must never come. i'd hate for her to steal you away like my sister, and she already has at least some degree of control over you."

@✼ park bosung it doesn't take very long for taehyung to find him near the mouth of the village's houses, watching bosung fall to the ground and only speeding up his pace a little. taehyung doesn't like to think about how common this has become. "if you want, i can ask her why." he responds, attempting to hide his worry as he kneels next to the hunter and hands him a bottle of cold water. her obviously means kutjatel, but he's been tied up with her for so long...it just doesn't make sense for taehyung to keep saying her name. "we can always send more people to cities too. i mean, it might not be the healthiest, but i could go for some chips." trying to lighten up the situation the oracle offers a half-smile, although it's still a little unsure. drawing his knees up he just sits next to bosung. "i'd go with you into the woods, if i could..." a half-truth, because taehyung is trying so hard not to look at the deer with an arrow piercing its throat. kutjatel is never pleased with their hunting - just allows it because she can't let them starve. her personality is rubbing off on him. "anyways, i'm sure this will be more than enough for now. the gardens have grown pretty good this year."

@✼ kim taehyung its tongue lobbed awkwardly between its limp, furry lips, antlers dragging across the ground along with its glossed, black eyes. bosung, fresh from his hunt, carries a deer by its leg, dragging the few hundred pounds of flesh into the village due to his careless neglect of leaving behind his knife. the arrow drums in the deer’s throat with the arrow’s head perfectly lodge into its throat, rattling within the deer’s flesh as it’s dragged across the earth. emitting a sigh with sweat collecting on his face, he finally releases the deer’s corpse, allowing it to fall as he wipes a bloodied hand over his forehead. he spots taehyung’s figure as he’s recollecting himself, his body left reeling due to overexerting himself before he collapses onto the ground. with his back against the grass and gaze upturned to the canopy of the trees and cerulean shades peeking through the leaves, he finds himself smiling, nearly able to feel his sister’s presence beside him. “the deer population is migrating too early.” he murmurs, blindly casting his bangs to one side as his eyes flutter closed. “i’m growing worried with so many mouths to feed.”
