Cabin #7

@Uno Shoma *nods a little and pulls out the little brochure for the camp, looking at everything on the sheet*
There are a lot of activities, so I'm excited to try them all.
*looks at you with a soft grin*
But the thing I want to try the most is the food.

@Park Jimin *keeps my eyes on you as you move around, shaking my head slowly at your question*
Hmm?
I haven't looked around yet either..
It might be nice to do that, and to get familiar with everything.

@Uno Shoma *no stranger to language barriers and struggling through conversations, I giggle and nod in agreement to your words*
I know that feeling all too well.
*sits up once more, this time scooting back on the bed and leaning against the wall*
Have you looked around the camp grounds yet?
Not that I’m in a hurry to rush out the door and explore, after hiking all the way up here, but-
Maybe we can take a look together later?

@Park Jimin *visibly relaxes more the more you talk to me, sitting down on my bed after a moment*

*smiles happily and nods in response*
Yeah, I'm pretty thankful I got someone who speaks Japanese..
Trying to talk when neither of you understand each other is really tough..

@Uno Shoma *almost sighs in relief, happy that you are Japanese, because I didn't want to be wrong and make the assumption based on just the fact that you looked very obviously Japanese and then turned out to be wrong*

*smiles softly and bows slightly*
You got lucky getting me as your roommate.
*laughs softly and lays back on the bed, looking up at the ceiling again*
It would be boring if we couldn't talk to each other.

@Park Jimin *lets out a breath as you speak to me in Japanese, nodding in response*
You speak Japanese? That makes things a lot easier for me..

@Uno Shoma *hears your hesitation as you start to introduce yourself, and pushes myself up on my bed to look at you, offering a small smile of reassurance*
I see. Japanese?
*taps my chin and nods, hoping that you an at least speak Japanese so that we'll be able to communicate for the length of the event, and attempts again to introduce myself, this time in Japanese*

@Park Jimin *glances over as you come in, immediately feeling a little nervous that I don't recognise you*
*clears my throat and nods slowly, staring at you as you speak Korean*
I - - *tries to think for a moment before smiling weakly and shaking my head*
Speak. No.. *mumbles out in English, not really having any of that either*

@Uno Shoma *packed lightly enough to have all of my stuff for the trip in a suitcase and a backpack*
*notices that my roommate already arrived in the cabin, and takes the other bed without too much, not that picky on where I sleep*
*offers you a quick smile before dropping back on my bed, glad to finally be able to lay down after hiking all the way up here from the taxi ride*
So, I guess we're roommates for the time being.
*continues to lay down, staring up at the ceiling, too exhausted to care about formalities at the moment*
