Leaning back in the barstool, I shift to glance at you, an eyebrow perched higher than the other as I scan you once more. "Perhaps that would be equally as appropriate, but I can't see why you would need better self-image....Just my observation though. I'm sure your perception of yourself may differ than from what I can see, much as my own self-image may steer incredibly far from your perception of me." Shrugging my shoulders, I toss back the beverage and request another.

After the small toast, I bring it back, taking a small sip of the scotch, lids falling shut over my eyes when savoring verges on a mild wince. It only makes sense to chase the first sip with a second, then. The glass quietly thunks against the bar, a disposable coaster drawn closer to quiet the noise as I set it down and look to you. "But maybe we should be toasting to better self-image in the new year, hm?"

@♛ song mino The reminder is somewhat humorous. I release a hushed chuckle as the bartender saunters over with the bottle of alcohol in one hand, and the two glasses with ice in the other. As he pours, I steal a glance in your direction. "That's alright. I usually have a decent tolerance, but it's been so long. I'm sure that I'll be comparable to your level, but I suppose only time will tell...time and these drinks that is." Returning my attention to the bartender, I bow my head in thanks before taking the drinks, offering one to you. "Here's to new friends in the new year."

@♛ kim minseok Having followed you inside the bar, I also end up following suit in shrugging out of my jacket, draping it over the back of the stool. Lifting my gaze to glance along the back wall of the bar, I examine the labels on the bottles, then glance toward the bartender's well liquor. "I'll have the same, actually." Arms resting on the bar, I fold them one over the other and glance to you with a raised brow, admiring the sight of that grin. "Just keep in mind it's been a while since I've been out drinking. I may not be the best at holding my alcohol."

@♛ song mino After arriving at the bar, I slip out of my hoody, throwing it over the back of my barstool. The temperature of the establishment was a comfortable warmth, but evidently too hot for a heavy jacket. Lifting my hand to signal the bartender over, I order a scotch on the rocks before extending an offer to you. "What suits your fancy? First drink is on me." It's a simple, yet genuine offer whilst a courteous, yet impish grin adorns my lips.
