The Medbay

@K. Ryeowook ☣ Joshua chuckled lightly at Ryewook's little taken aback gesture and smiled softly. "I know that I'm a straightforwarded person. Can't help it, sorry." He smiled faintly before smiling widely again. "You can say it like that. I'm so much over when I'm interested at something." He shrugged a little and smiled.

Joshua listened to Ryeowook's explanation quietly and seriously while taking some notes in his mind. "Hm, the stab wound sounds so complex to me." He grimaced. "Is there anybody that had came here with stab wound yet?" asked him with a brow raised curiously. Then, he nodded and bit his inner cheek. "So weekly report is basically for all the medical staffs," mumbled him. "Has there any staff that came here because an inmate? I mean..." Joshua cleared his throat. "Accidentally hurted?"

@H. Joshua ⚕ Ryeowook smiled and closed the door after Joshua entered, walking over to his chair and sitting behind his desk, watching the therapist as he scanned his office. He was rather taken aback by the straight forward question, but he smiled nonetheless and chuckled. “Eager to learn, is it?” He smiled, shaking his head. “It’s okay, chatty is fine. I don’t talk a lot so feel free to say anything you feel you must.”

Ryeowook hummed thoughtfully as he considered the question. “As for your question, it depends on the wounds of the patient. If it’s something minor, like a small cut on the finger, it shouldn’t take longer than a minute or two. But if it’s something worse, say, a stab wound, it might take at least half an hour to disinfect the wound and apply the ointment before patching it up, stitching if necessary.” He smiled at the next question, nodding. “Yes, we need to make weekly reports too. Mostly to ensure the inmates are taking their medications, and also to report if anyone had been injured for the past week, be them inmate or staff.”

@K. Ryeowook ☣ "Good morning," greeted Joshua with a simple smile. His head moved to take a look at what Ryeowook was gesturing and nodded once, following the doctor to his office room. After sitting comfortably on a chair available in the room, Joshua drew his attention back to the doctor. "Thank you," said him, followed with a light chuckle.

Joshua took his time to look around the room and did a quick scanning before throwing his attention to Ryeowook again. "How long does it usually take? I mean, how long does it usually take to handle a patient. Do the doctors also have weekly report? I'm so curious. Sorry if I'm being to chatty." He grinned and quickly changed it into a smile again.

@H. Joshua ⚕ Ryeowook immediately did his morning routine the moment he opened his eyes. After everything was settled, he went to the Medbay and turned the lights on, preparing for a new day. It was normal for him to wake up early, even so, he could still feel the tad bit of drowsiness in his system as he sat at his desk and arranged the folders.

Not long later, Ryeowook heard his name being called. Instinctively, he got up from his chair and went out to the entrance, stopping midway when he saw Joshua. It took his tired brain a moment to process why the therapist would be here at the Medbay at such an unGodly hour, until he remembered they made an appointment and a smile immediately appeared on his features.

”Joshua, good morning,” bid Ryeowook as he gestured to his office room — even though the Medbay is generally where the doctors are, they still have individual rooms for their offices. “Over here. Make yourself at home- as much as possible, at least.”

@K. Ryeowook ☣ "Ryeowook-ssi?" A head peeked into the medbay. The owner of the head is for sure no one else but Joshua. Joshua had pulled out his head and replaced it with his whole body. His eyes were busy scanning the room afterthat. "So this is how the medbay looks like. Nearly everythings are white, it's blinding me," joked Joshua and smiled a little.

Earlier that day, Joshua woke up as usual at 6 a.m. and prayed. Then, he got himself cleaned while half-sleeping. Done with himself, he checked his schedule and found out that he had made an appointment with a doctor in the institute to answer his curiousness about physic medic world. So, he quickly changed and left for the medbay, their meeting point.

@K. Seulgi ☣ Uh-huh, I told you I had terrible manners.
/she chuckles, rolling her eyes in amusement before she blows you a kiss and heads out to go to the canteen and see what they have/
/ends up settling on a fruit salad and cheese for herself, and a chicken sandwich for you, taking them both back to your office/
/makes herself comfortable in your chair, nibbling on the fruit as she waits for you to come back/

@J. Jinsoul I'm not firing you, silly. I'm saving you.
*chuckles as she leans in to get rid of that pout with her lips then pulls back with a small smile*
Mhm, that sounds good. Can you grab something too? Chicken. I don't care in what form, nugget or whatever.

@K. Seulgi ☣ I cant believe im being fired as your nurse already
/she pouts slightly before she shrugs and nods/
Whatever you say doctor
Whatever you want
Ill just go get something to eat and wait for you in your office?

@J. Jinsoul *she makes a face at that, clearly displeased, then huffs and just brushes it off*
Well those guys are pathetic. Why don't you go grab something to eat while I finish this up, hmm? This must be quite boring for you, and honestly I prefer to get this round done very quickly so I can spend some time with you without distractions.
*nods, smiling at you slightly*

@K. Seulgi ☣ Really? I wonder if I've met him before then...
/she wonders, glancing back at the room with a curios expression before shrugging/
Who knows, I've been with guys like that though, it's always a nasty surprise when the knife comes out
/looks up at you in amusement when she feels your fingers in her hair, shaking her head just slightly at your question/
No I ran into the guard before I could get breakfast

@J. Jinsoul I'm just glad he didn't suggest a with you and I. He slashes his victims while them, that's the only way he can get off.
*grunts and nods, dropping your hand so she can run hers through your hair in an attempt to calm herself down then blinks when she remembers something*
Oh, I almost forgot.. Have you eaten yet? Breakfast?
*she turns to you, raising an eyebrow*

@K. Seulgi ☣ /she doesn't have nearly the composure you do and she snorts before bursting out laughing when you call it a 'tiny dickie' still snickering when she waves at him, letting you lead her out of the room/
Is he always that much fun?
/she asks, still giggling as she shakes her head, looking back at the room in amusement/
His type are fun, always over compensating for something, aren't they?
He's not nearly attractive enough to act like that either.

@J. Jinsoul *her lips tremble while listening to you roasting the man, oh how she wants to laugh so badly but she quickly sobers up when the man sits up on his bed, glaring at you*
"Listen here, you little bi-"
No. You listen to me.
*she grunts, a hand on his shoulder forcing him to lay back down while she takes a quick glance at his IV drip before focusing on him again*
You're not going to do anything, okay? Not to her, not to me. Remember, I have the necessary substances to make sure that tiny dickie of yours stay down permanently. Consider this as a warning. The other doctor will discharge you later.
*she makes sure he's watching as she pretends to mess with his drip while quirking an eyebrow then grabs your hand, pulling you out with her after receiving a nod from him*

@K. Seulgi ☣ /she glares at the man, tossing her hair back over her shoulder in annoyance/
I stab a lot of people, and I'm sure you're about to find out. It's a damn good thing you're already in the Medbay, saves the staff having to bring your ugly here. I feel bad for them, having to touch something as disgusting as you, did you crawl up out of a ing sewer or what?
/her lip curls in disgust as she looks the man over, not at all impressed with what she sees/
No, I'd say the sewers were too good for you.

@J. Jinsoul We're quite close. He's like an uncle to me now. I will have to tell him that I've been uh, ually active..
*clears when her cheeks darken, shaking her head slightly when the inmate just chuckles at your threat, even his lips much to her disgust*

"Why is she here? Don't you hate each other or something like that? Heard the stabbed you."

*her eyebrow twitches and jaw clenches, not liking the way he's smirking at you*

@K. Seulgi ☣ Why would the doctor tease you?
/she asks a bit confused as she followed you into the room, immediately rolling her eyes at the man/
You can look all you want but I suggest you keep your hands to yourself, because I do bite and you won't like it.

@J. Jinsoul Because I took care of it. Cold shower in the morning is good to help me wake up. I can already imagine the teasing from my doctor on my check-up..
*mutters the last part mostly to herself, oblivious to the smoldering gaze you're sending her way*
I don't know. I think he'd be delighted to see you.
*grumbles then forces a smile as she opens the door and the male's face lights up at seeing her with you*
"Well well, two eye candies in the morning? Today's going so well!"

@K. Seulgi ☣ Aww, why didn't you say so? I would have happily greeted you differently when we got back to your office
/she said with an amused laugh, letting her eyes trail down your body and linger for a few seconds before she smirked and happily followed you out towards the next patients room/

@J. Jinsoul Please don't feed me with that kind of thoughts this early. I woke up with a morning wood this morning after a while.
*she whispers, lips curled up into a smile even when she's frowning slightly*
Mhm but everyone's been behaving lately.
*nods before engaging the patient with a small talk while checking on her vitals, satisfied with her condition, she moves on to the next patient*

*mutters softly as she frowns at the next patient's chart*

@K. Seulgi ☣ So? If it turns you on and you like looking at it before you rip it off then it's hardly a waste. I like it when you can't control yourself.
/she admits with a laugh, hiding a smirk against your shoulder as she follows you into the patients room, keeping back towards the door though as you go to check the IV/

@J. Jinsoul *yelps when she feels the squeeze, wide eyes with surprise, then chuckles softly, shaking her head*
No need. It'd be a waste since I'll just rip it off you thus ruining it.
*snorts and nods, making her way to check on the first patient first who's a female inmate and flashes the other a small smile in greeting before checking on her IV*

@K. Seulgi ☣ Yup, I’m going to drag you out not only from your office, but from the general compound too. [grins] Well, I’ll mlstly do that after our shifts end. But, you know, sometimes, work gets to us and you rarely get out to have a breather... [hums innocently, looking away]
[laughs lightly, nodding] Of course! I would definitely go for the kitties. [takes the card you gave her and smiled gratefully at you] Thank you! I’ll be sure to come around and find your munchkin, and maybe play with the kitties too.
[giggles] I guess it’s safe to say that all of us make weird sounds when we laugh.
[sighs, shrugging] Oh well, at least some people have their snark to defend them. They just sass at the person and then boom, the troll will never dare to come back and create unnecessary chaos anymore. [grins] Those are the best!

@K. Yuri ⚚ .. really? You're going to drag me out of my office and this building? Hopefully you're planning to do that at the end of our shift.
*chuckles softly, grinning at you*
Ah yeah, the cat cafe.. I think I have their business card with me. You should totally drop by and say hi to the kitties. Who knows maybe you'll end up adopting one or two.
*nods, humming as she reaches for her wallet to get the said card then slides it over to you with a smile*
Right???? I sometimes make weird noises too when I get too choked up to laugh, hah!
*snickers, holding her stomach as she shakes her head*

*snorts, rolling her eyes*

@K. Seulgi ☣ [laughs lightly, nodding] Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to take you to somewhere inmates-free. Although I do warn you, I said I’ll drag you out from your office... I didn’t say the places I’m bringing you is within the mental institute compound. [grins mischievously]
[cooes as she giggled, imagining] I can practically picture the scene in my head. Oh, it looks so adorable! [giggles a bit] Maybe you should give me the address of your house, or the cafe if that’s where your cat is in case, so that’ll be the first two places I go to when I bring you out from your attempt at burying yourself alive in your paperwork.
[refrains a snort] Some evensound like horses! I swear, the noises we people can make sometimes. [shakes head with a toothy smile] Unbelievable!
[frowns with a hum] That’s true. You don’t even know who you’re dealing with, and that’s scary in itself. [sighs]

@K. Yuri ⚚ Well I do move around a lot, just not in here. Please do drag me to the cafeteria or the gardens not the common room or somewhere we have to interact with the inmates. Especially if you see me buried in paperwork.
*sighs softly and nods*
That he is! I can't say no to his eyes when he'd look up at me when it's lunch time. I leave him with a friend who owns a cat cafe when I have to leave for work.
*nods, grinning broadly at the thought of her cat*
I know right?? Some sound like a motorboat or a motorbike.
*snickers, nodding in agreement*
Then lucky you. It's worse this era with cyber bullying and all..

@K. Seulgi ☣ [laughs lightly] Well, I’m also new here, so I guess we’re on the same boat here. [smiles before cooing] It’s okay, I’ll visit you in your office! Will probably drag you out occasionally so you won’t always be coped in your office. Not moving around is bad for your body too, you know?
Of course! I would love to see them. [grins, chuckling afterwards] Aww, I bet he’s a cute fur ball.
[laughs lightly, nodding] Totally relatable. I mean, some people’s laughs are so weird too, you know? It’s not even the video that is funny, is the person’s laugh that’s making things funny.
[frowns, tapping her chin] I’ve never seen that before, but I’m not surprised to hear that. [sighs] Some people... I guess it’s more important to them to be popular than anything else. [hums sadly]

@K. Yuri ⚚ Yeah I don't. I'm new here and my job didn't allow me to uh socialize that much around the block then here I prefer spending my time locked up in my office. I've always been kind of introverted I guess.
*nods slightly, pursing her lips in thought before smiling widely*
Really? Okay then, I'll show you funny cat videos sometimes, heh. And my baby Mugi, he's the cutest munchkin cat ever.
*wiggles her eyebrows playfully then snorts*
I always lost. Most of the time it's because of the other person's laughter not the video itself. Laughter is very contagious.
*chuckles softly and nods, tapping her fingers against her chin lightly*
Older siblings, but growing up I've seen some who don't care about their younger siblings. Especially in high school when being popular is way better than being a decent person. Oh the drama..
*sighs, shaking her head at the memory*

@K. Seulgi ☣ You don’t have many friends? [confusion laced her voice, her brows furrowing] That’s kinda hard to believe. You’re so nice! [pouts, before smiling] Don’t worry, at least you have me now! You can show me anything. [grins]
You have a cat? [smiles widely] I hope to see it one day, sounds like fun. [hums, chuckling] Have you ever lost in those kind of challenge videos?
[grins mischievously, shrugging] What can I say? Better make the best out of things. [smiles] Having brothers definitely have their perks. They just have that natural instincts in them to protect their younger siblings, especially younger sisters, in my opinion.

@K. Yuri ⚚ Right?? I don't have that many friends in this city, so yeah. At least I have my cat with me. If only he can laugh along when I show him a very funny video. This is sadly why I love watching those try not to laugh or smile challenge videos.
*pouts, sighing sadly*
Oh? That's very sneaky of you, heh. I remember my brother pushing a kid for making fun of my small stature. Having brothers have its own perks.
*nods and smiles softly*

@K. Seulgi ☣ [laughs lightly, nodding] Yeah, and we can also talk about whatever we want about the movie. I always do that when I have someone watching with me. Just cooing and crying and condemning about the movie, feels much better to do them with someone beside you.
[chuckles] I mean, you don’t have to be a Christian. But, anything that floats your boat, I guess. [grins]
[giggles] I cannot agree more. And when you’re not happy with someone or there’s a guy bullying you, you can tell your brother about it and hide behind him. Let him do all the work. [smiles mischievously]
