@水┊minatozaki sana momo felt that sense of helplessness rise up in her. it was that same sense that caused her to act the way she did most of the time, running off into things she had no idea about. normally, she'd see the sense in something like this. someone like her, a princess with little to no real training in defense or fighting in any way, had no sense trying to help with something like a lynel. however, there was one thing she could do.

"many of those soldiers were unpreprared and had no one there to help them! they often went alone, or they were unable to be healed in time." the princess looked at her best friend with wide eyes, reaching out to hold onto her. not only did she want to see the lynel, but she knew she wouldn't be able to send sana off on her own. "you, of all people, shouldn't go alone. i'll come with you, and i'll stay out of your way. but i can't let you go alone and potentially lose you to that beast."

she shook her head, her tone pleading and desperate. momo was stubborn, determined to have her way, even in the face of something so dangerous that had been plaguing her people for so long. "i promise. it'll be okay. please?"

@水┊hirai momo Trying to ignore the girl who went after her, Sana tried to pick up her speed but it didn’t really work without it looking awkward, so she felt fingers come around her arm and swung back to look at her friend. “But, Princess…” Sana mumbled, shaking her head, causing drops of rain to fly around her. “I can’t let you do that. Not only would I be devastated if you got hurt from the Lynel, or even worse… How could I come back to the King with that? I have failed my mission at defeating the Lynel because there is no way I would be able to kill that thing if I’m too worried about you.” She took a deep breath, exhaling heavily afterwards. “It’s not that I think you can’t handle yourself, but you know how deadly a Lynel can be. We’ve lost many great soldiers to that stupid thing and I wouldn’t want us to lose our Princess.”

She took her lip between her teeth and look at her friend, sighing deeply, knowing that no matter how emotional of a speech she could make… It wouldn’t change her mind. Once she was set on an idea, it could never be changed, especially a great adventure such as defeating the monstrous beast on top of the mountain. It would be better for her to go up with someone else, but she would way rather it be a skilled warrior than the Princess. She really shouldn’t have said anything.

“Please…? I don’t think I could have it on my head if you died because of some mission that was supposed to be my own.”

@水┊minatozaki sana "i doubt that. you've got that look in your eyes." momo scrunched her nose, hands smoothing over sana's arms, keeping a hold on her as best as possible. after all, they've known each other for so long, she could easily pinpoint when sana was lying to her at least a little.

the princess listened with wide eyes, most of the information getting through to her. the lynel had been a big issue for the zora recently, and with the rain and the creature's line of attack being shock arrows, there were few zora who were willing to go and rid the problem. the thought of going up there with her best friend, defeating the lynel together, was appealing to the princess. of course, she'd never be allowed to do it, but that didn't stop her before. however, it suddenly dawned on her just what was happening, sana already slipping away.

"wait a minute!" she called, quickly scrambling after the girl. momo ran after her friend, fingers curling around her arm in hopes of stopping her, or at least slowing her down. "can i come with you? please? i promise i won't tell anyone i went up with you! besides, two is better than one, right?"

@水┊hirai momo In the rain, one wouldn't be able to see it, but a slight blush of red appeared on Sana's face as she stepped back from her friend, but kept her hands on the others waist. "What? I'm not going anywhere..." Sana's laugh was definitely not believable, especially since the two had known each other for so long now that... Well, Momo should be able to see that Sana was lying.

Even if it was obvious, Sana didn't say a thing, staring at Momo in silence, hoping that Momo would just drop it so that she could escape to start her trek up Ploymus Mountain. To no avail, Sana ended up giving up, sighing in defeat and drooping her shoulders. "Okay, okay-" Her fingers came in front of her and she tapped them together, looking up at the other girl nervously. "I promised your father that I would go up Ploymus Mountain and slay the lynel there. Apparently it's been causing a lot of troubles for the travellers who wish to go up there. I was told not to tell anyone so... You shouldn't either! I was going to start heading up now. I probably won't be back until tomorrow."

Taking her lower lip between her teeth, Sana knew what was going on in Momo's head, and really didn't want to deal with it. She her heel, mumbling a quick goodbye and trying to get away before Momo could do something drastic-

momo had been troubled with all of the rain that had been plaguing the beautiful water-filled area. everyone seemed so gloomy and downcast, even though the zora were water folk. so she took it upon herself to try and help her people cheer up, especially since there wasn't much else she could do. she didn't fight, she didn't have those skills, so she relied on the joy she hoped she could spread even though she didn't particularly mind the rain.

she was crouched on the ground, petting the shell of a snail that was stuck on the bank of a fairly large puddle, one that was really only there because of the unending rain. the princess was trying to coax the little creature out, but nothing would make it budge. with a pout on her face, she gave up, standing up straight with her hands on her hips. that was when she felt familiar arms wind about her.

"sana! you surprised me." laughing softly, momo turned, arms winding about the female as a smile broke over her features. it was easy to tell that she was up to something. "where are you going?"

Sana nodded, smiling brightly at the king. "I will be back within a day's time. It's still raining pretty heavily so it will take longer to trek up the mountain." She nodded, not even needing to hear a response. "It's fine! I'll be fine. I can go by myself. I'll get rid of that lynel so we have nothing to worry about until the next blood moon comes. Farewell." She nodded her head, and with that, she her heel and left the small palace.

Zora's Domain had been seeing rain for quite some time now, probably because the spring season was around and soon enough, flowers would be blooming from the ground. For now, they had to deal with the heavy rainfall that put their beautiful domain into dark and grey. Sana never minded though, she liked the rain.

Upon looking ahead, she caught sight of one of her best friends, Momo, and jogged up and gave her a big hug. "Princess!" Sana shouted, almost loud enough for every Zora to hear.
