@⚜ taehyung auryleis. ᵉ humming softly to herself, dawon's mind was filled with the music of her hymns as she stood, eyes glazed over as she observed the fields in front of her carefully. in her hands was a small hymn book that floated carefully in her hands, opened to the right page, and she was about to sing out one of the hymns. she was about to open and sing out a song to honor the lands and bless them, to wish a good year coming forward for the lands. however, a voice stopped her. blinking, dawon turned to face the one who spoke, taking note of the rocks drifting around him.

closing her book, dawon smiled at the new face, her gut telling her something was wholly unique about the one in front of her. the songs in her ears ringing as they intensified in jubilant melodies. "i am dawon, a witch for auryleis. judging from your powers, it seems that we are friends, not foes." bowing her head for a moment in respect, dawon closed the hymn book and tucked it under her arm carefully. the peaceful and serene smile stayed upon her face the whole time. the hymns in her ears assured her that she had nothing to worry about, so she did not worry at all.

It really had not changed at all, had it? Even though the last he’d seen of this place was five, six, no, perhaps even a decade ago. Not too long in the eye of an witch, much enough time for the world to turn upside down regardless. But of course, it didn’t. Not here anyways. Here was still peace, here was still happiness. He gave himself a moment of relaxation- just breathing in the sweet air- and as such, did not detect the footsteps of another.

He was no longer the youth with long, braided locks, especially blessed with a touch for flora, but preferred to spend his days in banter and jest. No... that was somebody else now. Not him, not anymore. “Surely, you jest...” He spoke slowly, low voice a little scratchy and uncertain from disuse, “I’ve not been away long enough to be called a stranger yet.” And he lifted his eyes from under neatly chopped bangs, wholly filled with devotion to the being in front. “Zhennan of the Auryleis, wing leader...” and after a moment of hesistation, adding on, “—yours, patron.”
