@Bae Joohyun “Huh?” Wendy murmured, her eyes fixed on the book, completely unaware of the other woman’s presence. She looked to her side twice, finally noticing that her pair arrival “shoot” she mumble a bit too loudly drooping the book on the couch. She felt her legs going weak, possibly from how she crossed them whenever she sat comfortably, as she clumsily stood up. “Hi” she held to the arm of the couch for support before walking towards the other woman “Nice to meet you Joohyun, my name is Seungwan but you can call me Wendy. Welcome to our home and hopefully I wont make this too weird for us” she said smiling brightly, trying not to make her first impression any more awkward, considering she almost fell from standing up too quickly. Her head moved slightly as she noticed the other woman’s belongings, including the pet carrier “ You brought company, I see, need some help with that ?” she motions to her bags before continuing “ I didn’t do any unpacking yet, I was waiting for you so we can organize our stuff together, just in case you would bring everything you own” She grinned and points at her own bags standing against the couch ,just how she left them before she got distracted with the book.

one of the hardest thing to do as to move out is packing.
the excitement never faltered to boil from the inside as she have felt the coldness of the keys of her soon-to-be warm abode, her hearts doing insane flips upon hearing she will have a partner for such home. as the personification of self-conscious, joohyun wanted to, at least, look decent to whoever her roommate will be, hence why it's been hours since she have stared at her not-so-many clothes scattered on her bed, unsure of what to bring, her empty bag spwarled on her floor with her cat cozy on her foot. she wasn't really sure as to why she's stressing over it, it would be a safe guess to tell that the stranger won't mind with whatever she will wear (unless left with her undies) - every shirt she grabbed from her closet almost identical to each other - yet, here she was, chewing on her bottom lip in hopes to bring it all with her. taking her basic necessities - her underwear and hygiene kit in one bag of baby blue - the rest is still a mess. if it would be possible to bring all of her stuff, including her cat, it would be four bags in total; though she was reminded of the possible fact that it will be a burden both for her and for her roommate, deciding to get a week pair of work clothes and comfortable ones, some footwear, and her favourite pajama layered on top of the stacks. it miraculously covered up a whole bag that left her amazed.
once the packing was done, the lass rushed her way out of different homes - the strolley bag on a hand, a sling one on her shoulder and her free palm clutched on an additional baggage. the houses, based of its exterior designs, are worth the raid - and a blog. the sweatpants-and-loose shirt woman's footsteps were put into a halt when she heard a noise from her additional bag - the carry-around cage of her pet - its sound making her pout and promising for a meal once they have reached their assigned house. thr lass still find figured out of leaving her own pet to others inconvenient, she would keep her ball of fluff with her until her roommate would consider. crossed fingers she will.
turning the knob and finding out it was not locked, joohyun let out an amused gasp - her roommate must be inside. as quietly as she can, her fingers have fully turned the knob and winded up the door open, head peaked in to knock against the wooden frame of the door and to see another woman engrossed with the book she was holding. "hello," her greeting was rather shaky, hoping it was loud enough for her roommate to hear - feet dragging her inside the house in silent squeaks. as much as she wanted to jump out of the house back again, her not-so-social managed to pull up a small yet rather awkward smile, both hands gripped onto her belongings, unable to construct words in between sets of gulps and heaves. there must be nothing wrong with being casual... right? no, probably not yet. "you must be my roommate. i'm sorry if i was pretty late. my name's joohyun, and you are?"
Wendy took a deep breath as an attempt to calm her heart from beating furiously against her chest, "You can do it" she thought " You are a woman, she is a woman, you know the drill" she continued, nodding gently at her own words hoping it would make her actually believe it. She held the key twisting it in the lock and finally pushing it gently as she heard the faint click, " Hello?" she spoke slightly louder as her head peaked inside the house looking for the other female's presence " guess not "she murmured pushing the door further and entering the house. A low whistle escaped from her lips uncousciously as she checked the place, her attention quickly focusing on the bookshelves, specifically on the books chosen " The Singing detective. Haven't seen you in awhile Mr. Marlow" she chuckled at her own words as she picked the book. Wendy looked around once again, making sure that she was the only one in the house before bringing the book to the couch, sitting confortably before opening the book, waiting for her pair to arrive
