@kim seokjin Sungkyung nodded as she looked at Seokjin as he was explaining who had attacked her. She nodded as she was following slightly as she was still on a lot of medicine so she only grasping a little a bit, but she was listening to everything that he was saying. She didn’t know how she had upset two high school kids unless they had worked on case that involved their parents or family members – or they just saw her as an easy target. They could have gotten orders from someone else as well so that the person who ordered them to do it wouldn’t have blood on their hands. Sungkyung nodded as she heard that she needed to start remembering and writing down her statement and everything. “I’ll try my best, but my head still hurst and I am still a little fuzzy – but I’ll try my best to remember everything,” Sungkyung smiled at him as she nodded as she took the paperwork then chuckling. “I do love paperwork – best part of the job,” She giggled a bit as she laughed. Sungkyung nodded as she smiled. “That’s good – we can’t let any of the bad guys get away,” She beamed at him.

Sungkyung pouted a bit as she called a stinky monkey. “I am not a stinky monkey! I am cute moneky and your cute monkey,” Sungkyung took her chopsticks as she started to eat then shook her head cutely with a slight whine. “Don’t eat all my food, Jinnie! How am I am going to survive in here if you eat all my food? I won’t have any – I’ll starve,” She whined, playfully as she then laughed a bit. She frowned a bit at his next statement as she felt bad for making him worry and such. “I am sorry. Once I get out of here, I promise that I take my test and learn so that I don’t worry you anymore!” Sungkyung nodded as she looked at him. She nodded again as she looked at him. “I know, I know – but wouldn’t it be cool to be able to teleport?!” She told him as she ate some more food.

Sungkyung then giggled as she thought about them going on a date. “I will get you the best beef and food that we can get on my budget. You know we don’t get paid a lot,” Sungkyung told him as she nodded. “But, it will be the best you’ve ever had ‘cause you’ll be with me,” Sungkyung winked at him. She knew that he was only teasing and being playfully but she was being serious and did think that she wanted to give him a great date when she got out.

@lee sungkyung the male had to be careful; he couldn't exactly tell her a lot or she would pick up on his sick game; with that in mind, the male shared the softest smile with the female and nodded slowly ''two trouble highschoolers it seems, i haven't looked much into it because i was busy with the case itself, which i did some research for you, i know you love paper work'' he called out, obviously playfully as he brought out a small pile of paper before he snorted ''but honestly your version of what happened is pretty important, try to fill out as much details as you can, hm? this has to be recorded.'' he spoke to her ''no, i don't think they are involved with anything at the moment but i did track back to their school and did have a talk to their professor, i mean the images on the cctv weren't exactly clear for their faces plus they were wearing masks but i did ask around and i have two suspects, which leads me to the prof. he did say those two were pretty troublesome and did end up in detention quite a few times...until they stopped showing up to school'' he muttered, leaning back as he rubbd his chin, crossing his legs as he pretended to think, aware that he did already find the two people who did sungkyung wrong. but would she ever forgive him knowing what he did? knowing what he was? ''now what i don't get is why would they attack a police force officer-'' he spoke out bluntly and truthfully considering he really didnt understand what two delinquents had against someone they had never seen in their lives but just like him, they could be two sick bastards, wanting to avenge the world and have it become a better place, through their own hands. her peck woke him up from his thoughs, a nod following her words ''of course, i'm not letting any of them go that easily.'' he promised but little did she know what he meant by that.

a snort came from the male's lips as he watched the female wink at him, as if she wasn't in pain. ''yeah yeah, eat up, you stinky monkey'' he spoke, playfully before pursing his lips slightly at the sight of the food. ''dont ask me that twice, i could eat all your food'' he warned, obviously playfully. this was the only moment the male thought it was okay to chill and forget his sick intentions; she was indeed the best part of his world. ''well, you wouldn't worry me so much if you knew how touse a gun...'' he blurted out, looking directly into her eyes, wanting to convience her to take the course ''it's for your own good. what will you do when i can't reach you on time..like this time? it's given i'd take a bullet for you but i can't teleport where you are, you know?'' he muttered, sighing as he stuffed his mouth with food to keep himself busy from speaking anything else. ''i'm gonna remind you of that date, you owe me food, you understand?'' he spoke, mouth full as he pointed his chopsticks at her, waving them around ''i better get the best beef, the most expensive with top tier wine and everything else i deserve, huh?'' but obviously, he was being playful, he would never let her pay for such. he was just worried, worried he would lose her one day because he was a second too late.

@kim seokjin Sungkyung glanced over to him as she nodded a bit. "Really, you've got some leads on who did this to me already? Of course, it's you so I shouldn't be surprised. You're an amazing detective," Sungkyung beamed at him just really believing what she said. Seokjin was brilliantly smart and built for this job - even though she didn't know what else he did. But, she did know that he was wicked smart and could always be one or two steps ahead in any investigation that they were doing, and could always outsmart her or any other detective on the force. Sungkyung followed along as she knew since they didn't have a police record that tracking them down would be hard, and finding a reason to hurt her of all people would be odd. "Maybe find out if they have any other connections to the police force or any open case that haven't been solved yet? They could have attacked one of us because they are upset we aren't working fast enough or we couldn't help their loved one," Sungkyung offered a suggestion as she shrugged. "But, thank you for looking into this for me - I just don't understand why anyone would do this but I guess, all we can do is find them," Sungkyung answered as she leaned over just pecking his cheek.

Sungkyung was feeling more pain than she was letting on, but she didn't want to worry Seokjin - and she wanted to get out of here faster than she probably should be. Granted, she had only woken up today so she should be taking it slow but Sungkyung was never one to just take things slow. Sungkyung smiled as she looked at all of the food that Seokjin had brought her. "Everything looks amazing, thank you so much, Seokjinnie~," Sungkyung winked at him just picking up a pair of chopsticks as she grabbed another pair. "Do you want to eat with me? There is enough here for both of us," She asked as she felt bad for just eating herself and there was a lot of food here. Sunkgyung softly laughed a bit as she glanced up at him. "We are, but I like it - it's cute," Sungkyung giggled a bit as her expression softened. "I am sorry that I worried you, but I'm getting better! I'll be back to good in no time then we can go on a real date somewhere and start kicking- again," Sungkyung smiled to him.

@lee sungkyung ''which reminds me i might've found a lead or two on who did this two you'' seokjin called out, knowing perfectly well he had started playing his psychological games with the two guys who hurt his lover; at this moment they were no other than two hamsters in a wheel running and running endlessly as if trying to escape that vicious fear cycle while seokjin watched, pleased. this would be one of, if not the most satisfactory kill of his; he was seeking personal revenge after all, how could it not? but he wiped those thoughts away, focusing on the woman in front of him. ''i'm pretty sure i'm on the right path, too, they don't seem to have any previous criminal record so im quite confused as to their sudden outburst to take a cop down'' he commented, rubbing his chin as if thinking.

hearing her pained whine made the male frown, and immediately help her out but soon those worries washed away, instead he snorted loudly ipon seein how ecited she got over food. ''i brought you some chicken- mind you i didnt know what you were hungry for so i just asked the lady to pack a bit of everything- we have kimchi, we have noodles- we have- im not even sure what else we have but we have a bit of everything, and veggies, of course'' he spoke, bringing the moving table over her bed to place the small dishes down just so she could feast on everything. ''we are soooo cheesy today' he teased, sticking his tongue out at her before laughin softly ''but im glad youre feeling better, i was really worried, you know?'

@kim seokjin The nurse nodded as she looked at him. "I see, thank you for signing these. If she has recovered enough and her concussion grade goes down to a minor one then she would be able to go home soon - but the doctor might want to keep her a few extra days to make sure everything is healing okay especially if she's still in pain," The nurse said as she took the papers from him as she walked off.

Sungkyung smiled as she leaned his hand a bit as he combed her hair and smiled brightly at him as he called her a good girl. "I did," She nodded, cutely with a smile on her face. She took her cup as she sipped on the water as she set it down just looking at him. "I'm feeling okay - kind out of it but I am not in much pain right now expect when I move a lot - but the nurse said I broke a couple of ribs," Sungkyung gently pressed her arms up just sitting up all the way as she winced a bit. Sungkyung eye's beamed a bit as she spoke about food - she was starving. She hadn't eaten since she had gotten here other than ice chips or water, so she was excited to actually eat something. "I am. What did you bring me, lovely Seokjinnie," Sungkyung mused a bit as she smiled at him. Sungkyung pecked his cheek just nodding. "I feel better around you too, and I missed you too," She intertwined their fingers as she smiled at him.

@lee sungkyung ''i'm her fiance'' he confidently spoke, eyeing the nurse quite scared to why she suddenly contacted him. he felt uneasy around health professionals for some reason but seing it was sungkyung related, he pushed those thoughts aside and paid attenton what he was being told, grabing the nearest pen to sign whatever papers he was handed. ''ill be responsible for that.' he continued, tilting his head, nodding slowly ''her family isn't...available'' he excused, eyeing the sheets quietly before nodding ''il take care of it, thank you'' the male muttered, proceeding to fill the papers with as much as what he knew, waiting for her to wake up to compliment any additional information he wasnt aware of.

a soft chuckle escaped his lips at her very first words upon waking up. his fingers combed her hair gently ''you did? what a good girl'' he playfully spoke, reaching for her cup as she asked him, wanting to help wit as much as he could ''how are you feeling, love?' he hummed softly once again laughin as she was quick to notice the scent ''i brought you some food, hospital food i know it. are you hungry?'' he asked, tilting his head as he sat by her side not being able to hide a soft smile, she was so precious to him, how could he be fooling her like this? she couldnt find out who he was, he would be alone but in all honesty, he thought if he could get rid f all the bad people,t he world would be a safer place to live with the female, and he wanted that, really bad ''better now that im here with you'' he said, smiling at her ''i missed you, love'' he hummed, reaching for her hand to intertwine their fingers.

@kim seokjin It didn't take long Sungkyung to knock out after Seokjin had left as she needed the sleep. She was woken up a few times for the nurses to check on her or a doctor to come in and check on her. She would fall back asleep pretty quickly as she was tired and sore. She also had a few other visitors from the department as she talked to them for a little bit before trying to get some more rest, which she did. She didn't even notice that Seokjin had come into her room. A nurse passed her room as she could see Seokjin inside. She grabbed Sungkyung's chart as she entered the room. "Are you her family or boyfriend? We need someone to sign some forms when she's here in the hospital. Also, for someone to make medical decisions for her when she's under so much medicine, but we haven't been able to contact any of her family." The nurse asked as she set down the forms. "Just fill them out when you have a moment or when she wakes up," The nurse told him as she bowed to him as she exited the room.

About ten minutes later, Sungkyung stirred in her sleep as she lifted up a hand as she was thirsty as she blinked her eyes open. She looked around as she could see Seokjin standing there as she smiled at him. "Hi, I rested a lot," Sungkyung said as she looked around for her water cup. "Can you bring me my water cup, over there?" She asked as she pointed to the jug with a straw sticking out of it. She yawned a bit as she could smell something that didn't exactly smell like a hospital. "Did you bring something with that you that smells?" Sungkyung asked as she looked over to him with a small smile. She sat up a little bit as she winced a bit. "How was your day though?" She asked

@lee sungkyung due to his personal matters, read off as the case nobody knew he was taking apart from sungkyung, he took the whole afternoon to track down the rascals who caused sungkyung to be laying on an hospital bed. he started by placing down threats, in letters, nothing alike him; he didn't even care if they brought it up to the police, he could make those cases disappear, he knew he could. he wanted to torment them for a while, in fact, he'd love to get them a beating but he also knew the wonders psychological games did; he decided to play it that way, hoping they'd come to face sungkyung someday so she, herself, could get her revenge.

it took him the whole afternoon to come up with an actual plan and he thought he had come up with the perfect one so he pat himself on the back. he then, went to the office to gather some documents like he promised to keep the female busy. on th eway back to the hospital, he brought her some fast food, hidding it in a bag he put the documents in to make sure the nurses wouldn't find out as he himself had been in a hospital countless times befeore, he knew sneaking in was the only way theyd let that food go in. but once he arrived, she was asleep, it made him smile. without wakng her up, he sat down, placing the bag by the side of the hospital just to watch her sleep sme mor

@kim seokjin Sungkyung watched as moved to the door as she lowered her blanket a bit as she looked at him. "Don't worry, Seokjinnie - I will rest," She answered as she heard his next statement as her cheeks flushed to a bright red as she winked at him just patting her side underneath the blanket. It was a bold move from her, but she was hyped up on pain killers at the moment. "I mean, I wouldn't mind them - they might even motivate me to get better faster," Sungkyung eyed Seokjin as she looked around a bit as she landed her eyes back on Seojin's frame. She smiled into the simple kiss to her lips as she nodded to him again. "Alright, that is all I ask - because this food . I miss junk food," Sungkyung pouted a bit as she pulled her covers up to her chest as she laid her head own fully on her pillow as she closed her eyes.

She drifted off to sleep fairly quickly as it took a lot out of her to probably be that alert and talking - and goofing around in her state right after waking up from such a traumatic attack. Sungkyung probably still hadn't really known what still had fully happened until she got off the pain medicine and had a clearer mind on things. She did though a bit whimper in her sleep as she couldn't move around or get that comfortable as it hurt to do so as all she could do was hug her blankets that she had pulled up to her chest as she rested and slept with only nurses coming into the room to check on her and rebandaged any of her wounds that needed to be cleaned again or redressed to prevent infection on them.

@lee sungkyung seokjin meant to stay longer but in all honesty he wanted to find the people who hurt sungkyung more than anything. he wanted to teach them a lesson and who knows, maybe have some fun. but he coudn't kill them; that would be way too suspicious. ''i have to work on some documents so make sure to catch up on rest, missy'' he called out, sighing softly before snorting at her request ''should i? what if i end up under the blankets kissing your neck, hm? will you be responsible for that?'' he playfully asked her just to roll his eyes at her next request ''i'll see what i can do'' he honestly told her, leaning down to press a kiss to her lips, only to lean back and look at her ''make sure to rest, or i really won' come back'' he pointed his index finger at her, squinting for a moment before he left the room.

he reached for his phone, calling up the officer that had been with sungkyung earliear that week, so he could find out more about the guys who hurt the female who was so precious to her; he had agreeed to meet up with jin who quickly went to find him and ask him just about anything, acting like the detective he was. he was getting to the bottom of this matter and that wouldn't be dragged for longer than that day. no, by the end of the day he would have them confessing their crime to the police and who knows maybe land some punches for personal reasons. they should be in that hospital bed, not sungkyung. god only knows what seokjin would do if sungkyung didn't wake up

@kim seokjin Sungkyung scrunched up her nose as she shook her head gently as her hair that still had dried blood in it at some parts as she hadn't taken a shower yet, or they were parts where the nurses didn't notice due to her hair color as they could have thought it was just highlights in her hair. "Monkey's not a cute nickname you would call someone that you like," Sungkyung whined as she looked at him. "Am cute enough to get a cuter nickname than monkey, right?" Sungkyung held up her hands under her chin as she made a flower 'v' pose then winked at Seokjin. Sungkyung's face then flattened as he admitted that he was teasing her. "I could hurt plenty of people and have - you've just never been on the receiving end. I don't play dirty physically you know," Sungkyung rambled as bit as she made a humpf sound as she crossed her arms.

Sungkyung pouted as he waved his finger in front of her face. She swatted at his hand as she sighed. "Stop that, that is making me dizzy and nausea," Sungkyung told him as she sighed. "You have a point, those things did happen - but I am gonna be so bored and lonely," Sungkyung huffed again just sighing to herself. Sungkyung giggled as the next round of morphine and drugs had probably totally kicked in by now. "You said that I'm your girl, you're going to make me blush, Seokjinnie," Sungkyng coved her face as she then lowered her hands. "But - I did wake up so don't be so worried! I feel great!" She winked again giving him heart fingers with her hands.

Sungkyung nodded quickly as she looked at him. "Of course, I am worried about that! It's a special day," Sungkyung crinkled her face up a bit as he pinched her cheek as she raised up a hand just rubbing her cheek. "You're going already? Hmm, okay - I will. You can always come back later tonight and cuddle me, that could help me get better faster maybe," Sungkyung playfully smiled as she pulled her covers up to her chin. "Oh, and maybe you sneak me in some halfway decent, not hospital food," Sungkyung whispered with a wink as she closed her eyes, doing as he said and trying to get some rest.

@lee sungkyung his brows raised at the face sungkyun didnt put up a fight this time. it was amusing how seeing her on an hospital bed had her just agreeing to him. the male couldnt help but release a soft snort, eyes rolling a bit. "what if I want to call you monkey when we wre outside, though? you're still a monkey" he continued, wanting to see her reaction. a soft gasp escaped his lips as he heard the female speak "I'm not teasing you–" but he stopped himself, laughing a bit before sighing "alright I am teasing you because it is fun to tease you, you have really funny reactions and come on, you wouldnt hurt a fly" he crossed his arms, eyeing the female up and down for a couple seconds.

Jins lips parted to answer the female but he stopped himself. stating at her before squinting and actually speaking "well, some people didnt hit their head on the ground nor did they lose a lot of blood, did they?" he scolded, waving his finger in front of her. the male leaned back on the chair, sinking in a bit as he looked to the side "nobody hurts my girl and gets away with it like that. something bad could've actually happened to you, what if you didnt wake up?" he muttered, sighing as he couldnt help but feel worried, scared she would actually be hurt over this.

seokjin bursted out laughing as he heard sungkyung "you hit your head and you're worried about the way I am goinf to propose to you?" he asked, leaning in to pinch her cheek gently before laughing some more. he really couldn't believe what he had just heard her say. she was worried about his proposal rather than her health.. the male shook his head getting up from his seat before leaning down and kissing her forehead "get some rest, um? I'll be back later. and please get better soon, I could actually use some cuddles from my sick monkey, you know?"

@kim seokjin She smiled a little at the fact that she was something to him, and if it had to be a monkey then I guess then she would take it. She shrugged a bit as she offered a half-smile. "Hm, alright but you can only call me that when we are alone - I don't want other people to start going around and called me, monkey," Sungkyung told him as she shook her head a little. She pouted again as he laughed as at her as she was really worried that she did maybe hit with a hard part of the machine or poke with him something since she was connected to so many things at the moment. "I am not sulking, it's just you keep teasing me when I was worried that I did hurt you," Sungkyung explained as she looked at him.

"Well, some people get out right after they wake up," Sungkyung retorted as she was going to be slightly difficult about this if she had to be stuck in this room with strangers coming in and out and whatnot. Sungkyung nodded as she knew this, but she just didn't like these places and being alone in a strange place where people can just come and go as they'd please. "I know, and I will do everything in my power to get better," Sungkyung said as she looked at him. "Oh, you would do that for me? At least I got you on my side about it - everyone else would be like that isn't right - or you just be okay that you're okay," Sungkyung said as she shrugged a bit.

Sungkyung nodded quickly to his statement as she wanted nothing more than get to better quickly and get out of here so that one she could go take a shower and snuggle under her own covers to rest as these hospital sheets were not comfortable nor not always warm. "I will, believe me, you're not the only one that wants to quickly get out of here," Sungkyung sighed a bit as she looked over to him as he was still wearing a serious expression. She smiled as she nodded again, "Okay - but like you have to surprise me and it has to be cute if you're really going to propose to me just because I like science and this kind of stuff we work on - doesn't mean I don't like cute romantic and girly stuff sometimes," Sungkyung nodded

@lee sungkyung "you're my monkey" seokjin retorted, shrugging before nodding a couple times before bursting out laughing at the fact she thought she hard hurt him. obviously he wasnt hurt, she didnt deliver the smack that hard anyway so obviously he wasnt hurt it was just meaning to but seeing her sulking made his gaze soften a bit. "is my little monkey sulking?" he teasingly asked her, chuckling before shaking his head slowly finding this simply funny and adorable. she was adorable.

the male nodded a few times to her statement "I dont like hospitals either but you cant simply expect to be out of it after you wake up. they need to check for you and make sure you're okay and ready to leave, you know? otherwise it doesnt make sense." he commented, shrugging "I'll give them a beating and gladly use them in your gun training" he said, finding the way she worded it out to simply be funny as he didnt expect it.

she had promised to take the exam again after practicing which lead him to relax just a bit. he wanted her to be protected even when he wasnt around that was the only way he could continue with the work she dodjt know be had. and he felt bad for lying but could he help it when he fell in love with her? he couldnt. he wanted her to know he wanted to be with her more than anything therefore he coupdnt come forward with the fact he was the serial killer.

"then get better quickly" he spoke up, looking at her seriously as she confirmed she would marry him "get better soon so that I can get down on one knee and propose to you, kyung" he continued wanting her to know he did plan on have that happening soon, as he also wanted to be together with her. though he reasoning may need some work as they only really worked together and didnt know each other out of work, he still wanted to make this work and would gladly take her as his wife. they went through a lot together mostly because of him. but she really dodnt need to know that

@kim seokjin Sungkyung squinted her eyes at the word monkey as she shook her head a bit. "I am not a monkey - maybe like a cat or something," She said as she looked at him. Sungkyung frowned as he made he asked her why she had hit him. "Oh, sorry - I won't do it again," Sungkyung raised up her hands as she waved them a little bit. He then went on as Sungkyung sighed but kind of got a worried look on her face. "Did I really hurt you? Oh gosh, I'm sorry - you're hurt - we should call the nurse," Sungkyung then realized that he was messing wiht her as she squinted her eyes at him again as she sighed. "You're messing with me," She grumbled as she crossed her arms a little bit again. Sungkyung didn't know how long that she had been out of it, or anything so she thought it had only been a few hours or something. She hadn't quite noticed that it had been a few days since she had been attacked.

She kept her arms crossed as she listened to him next as she sighed. "I mean, but I have you to look after me and I can call my mom - or wait no, she's busy pretending she has no children to be married some new old guy and travel the world," Sungkyung scratched the side of her head as she looked Seokjin. "But, still I can always have my phone beside me and I'll have ti charged up-" She rambled on as she looked at his face as she sighed as she knew that she wasn't' going to win this so she humpfed a little. "I don't like the hospital," Sungkyung grumbled. She was determined to catch both parties, and one of them just happened to be the person sitting across from her but she didn't know that. She had also been talking about the people that had hurt her so that they would be brought to justice as well. "Ah, okay - but if you find these punks that put me here maybe I should use them as shooting practice for my gun license," Sungkyung blinked at Seokjin as she nodded a bit. She usually kept thoughts like this to herself and never talked about these kinds of things with Seokjin as many people didn't think this way or anything, but she was drugged up on pain killers and other drugs to make her comfortable.

"Cause I wanna be out there collecting evidence, and kicking - taking names with the power of science," Sungkyung said as she made a face about the gun again as she shook her head - but she knew that he would keep bringing it up until she said okay or that she would keep practicing. "Alright, alright - I need it and I'll keep practicing," Sungkyung said as she peered at him as he busted out into laughter as her impression as he was right. It was dangerous out there and this could have been avoided if she did have the necessary tools to keep herself safe. "You're right, I do need it to protect myself. I'll start going to classes and practice more so that I can pass the exam," Sungkyung said as she swatted her hands as he messed her bangs knowing he was doing it out of an affection standpoint. She fixed her bangs as she watched his expression get a bit more serious.

Sungkyung let out a giggle as she nodded as she covered her face. "Ah, Jin, you're making me embarrassed and nervous all of the sounds," She covered her face just peeking out as he was still sitting there. She had always had a crush on him when he first arrived as a new investigator and was assigned to their task force - and then suddenly he was her partners just following her around or her following him around. They had always been playful and friendly, close like this. She thought inside of her hands as she nodded slowly to herself maybe forgetting he had been there. Or, maybe being hopped up on so many drugs made her more open and honest with her feelings. "I would - you're handsome, sweet, and protective," Sungkyung lowered her hand as she looked at him.

@lee sungkyung "that's another reason for you to rest, little monkey" he spoke playfully , shaking his head as he could see she was in pain and in all honesty, trying to negotiate with him would lead her nowhere. he was more stubborn than she was. "why you hitting me?" he playfully glared at her, rubbing the place she hit him in only to pretend she injured him badly "oh no, mister doctor I think I need to be hospitalized as well, oh no my arm!" he spoke, flailing his other arm obviously not speaking loud enough to create a commotion as he was simply messing around with her but it wss good to see her so active as she had hit her head just maybe a couple days prior and wasnt even waking up — that was what was making him worried the most. he would come visit her always hoping to see her awake.

seokjin rollee his eyes at her comment, head shaking slowly "you cannot go home. do you have anyone at home to look after you? what if you cannot reach out for 911 on time? what if your phone is on the other side of the room? absolutely not. you need to stay here, with these machines, the doctors know what they're doing and plus this is quicker for recoveries, you'll be out in no time" the male scolded her, nodding his head a couple times before smiling softly, proudly even. "fixing them, huh?" the male snorted, knowing she was just teasing him at that moment. he went quiet for a moment, knowing she was determined to put whoever that person was to jail and that made him feel guilty seeing he was hiding a huge secret from her. he was who they were looking for. this could and would destroy his life..if she ever found out, itd destroy their relationship but he was doing nothing wrong. he was simply cleaning this world from the villains. "I'll facetime you whenever I can or get any lead, dont worry, hm?"

"what are you pouting for, missy? you know perfectly well that's as much as I can bring you right now. plus, you really need that gun licence unless you want to walk on my shadow" he spoke, sighing softly knowing he hated the sight of her in a hospital bed, ill or hurt. seokjin snorted loudly, rolling his eyes at her impression of the " macho" officer she was with, eventually falling into a fit of laughter. "either way, you need to get a gun. practice hard for it, I can take some time to teach you too. it's really dangerous out there" he continued, reacuing for her bangs to play with them gently, exposing her forehead. her next words made him feel shocked. he wasnt expecting her to react like that to his playful side but something in him grew excited "would you really marry me if I proposed to you?" he suddenly turned serious, looking her in the eyes as nervousness grew in him. she really had no idea who he was and that scared him. would she let go of him? she would, probably.

@kim seokjin Sungkyung blinked as he blocked her from getting up as she sighed just childishly crossing her arms as she looked at him. "The last thing I remeber is smacking on the pavement, and then calling you, Jin," Sungkyung uncrossed her arms as she felt sore all over as she ruffled her hair again aggravated that she couldn't remember anything, but she knew that it would come back to her soon after pounding her head went away. She laughe as she gave him a playful look just smacked his shoulder with her non-iv hand. "You can't get rid of me that easily," She told with a short nod.

She laid back down just huffing again as she really hated the hospital and looked around. "Why can't I rest at home? I don't need all these machines nor this thingy," Sungkyung pulled at the oxygen tubes. "I just want to go home," She mumbled as she sighed to herself. She looked at Seokjin as he said that he would take care of everything as she sighed. "I guess I have to let you handle things - but I'll probably end up fixing them or redoing them," She teased as she shook her head a bit just wincing as she rubbed her temple. "Fine, but you have to keep me updated and I know that I can't investigate my own case - so that means you have to investigate then secretly tell me everything so I live vicariously through you when we catch them and throw them in jail," Sungkyung nose crinkle up a bit as she curled up her hands into fists as she gave him a determined look.

She nodded as she looked over his shoulders just straining her neck a bit she nodded at them. "They are really pretty and do add some color into my all-white torture room," Sungkyung frowned as her face lit up for a second then frowned again as she heard the sound of paperwork. "I guess, it is better than nothing," She sighed as she pouted a bit as she crinkled up her nose. "You know that I am not good at guns and aiming and that kind of stuff. I like science and collecting evidence. If the officer with me didn't have to go to macho show my authority to the punks then I would have been okay - but I know that I can't argue with you," Sungkyung put her hands on her hips and wriggled a bit when she was talking about the officer that was with her. She gave him a look but smiled as she gave him her hand as she listened to him as she watched him put the band back on her finger. "Are you proposing to me Kim Seokjin? Because I do," Sungkyung nodded her head with a smile.

@lee sungkyung the males eyes widened as he noticed she was awake. he almost gave in to his wishes of pulling her in the tightest hug but resisted them. he couldnt do such thing, itd be awkward for both. but her questions made him speechless "I didnt get to you on time so I'm not sure what happened" he answered her truthfully, sighing quietly "you scared me though, I thought I lost you for a moment–" he honestly didnt even realize he had said such things. he was blurting them out his brain was empty.

once he saw her trying to get out of the bed, he quickly shook his head and placed the flowers on the table, using his own body to stop her from moving. "kyung, you need rest. you hit your head, you need to calm down" he informed her, sighing loudly "I'll take care of everything while you're in here, hm?" he continued, frowning as he looked at the female, picturing her in that hospital bed. "as much as I want to have you around and annoy you, I also want you to rest. you need to rest in order to give it your best when you come back, hm?"

"also, I brought you flowers" he called out "thought youd like some colors in this....colorful room of yours" he playfully stated, looking around the white room. he had been hospitalized before and he knew just how boring those four walls could get "I can bring you in some paper work to distract you, but you'll have to stay here for a couple days, kyung." he continued, sitting back down as he crossed his arms in front of his chest, nodding a few times just to notice how terrorized he actually was to know she could've been severely hurt. "you need your gun license soon, too. we need to work on that" seokjin reached his hand out to the little rubber band she had removed just a couple seconds ago, holding out his free hand for hers just to take it and playfully call out "I, kim seokjin take you, lee sungkyung to be my partner in crime — quite literally — until death does it's part" and with that, he stuffed it back onto her finger, humming in happiness as that annoying beeping sound was gone, finally.

@kim seokjin Sungkyung felt out she was out of her body as she lay there in the bed. She didn't quite know where she was or if she was awake or sleeping as she blinked a bit as she hurt to move as the last thing she remembered was the pavement, sneakers smacking into her sides, her head hitting something other the ground, and then the same sneakers splattered most likely in her own blood running away as the sound of the familiar sirens started ringing. Sungkyung was the few crime scene investigators that didn't carry a gun - mostly because she never had needed it nor did she pass her exam for it as other officers would put - 'the nerds don't need guns', and Sungkyung was regretting it that very second as she could barely move as her fingers pushed her phone away from her as she was trying to call the only person that came to mind - but her eyes closed just as the male picked up, more yelling and boots came running at her.

A groan escaped her lips as her eyes fluttered as she opened up her eyes as she looked around the room. She didn't have the breathing tube down , but she had it stuck in her nose and all the other machines attached to her as she gripped the hand holding her cheek as her heart raced up as the machined kicked up with a couple beats at the heightened as Sungkyung was afraid someone had come back because they hadn't finished the job. She gripped her hand tighter as she finally glanced at the person that was next to her bedside as she could see Seokjin standing there. Her body relaxed as she let go of his hand just letting her hand fall noticing the iv tapped to her hand as she blinked.

"Why am I here? What happened?" Sungkyung asked trying to sit up but hissing as she couldn't. She smacked her hands on the bed just ruffling her hair as she didn't like being here. "I know, I think I know what happened - I was working but then I can't remember," Sungkyung unclipped her other hand's finger connected to the heart machine as she tried to force herself up again. "I want to leave, I have work stuff to do," Sungkyung mumbled as she looked at Seokjin as the machine she unconnected herself to started beeping. Sungkyung was confused and just looked at Seokjin as if to ask if he was helping or just going to stand there.

@lee sungkyung it came down to this. seokjin held a bucket of flowers, guilty that he didnt get to assist her on time for her to be safe. he held the biggest secret within himself and he would never let the female know of it. though he was divided. he was the person they were chasing after, all this time and thanks to that, she had gotten hurt.

now, things wouldn't even be that horrible if the situation ended there. no, it would be okay if that was the only issue. but it wasnt. seokjin had no idea how but he ended up falling in love with sungkyung. he knew it because he stood outside her room with a bouquet in his hand. in all honesty, he wouldn't even bother visiting his partner if it wasnt for his feelings because he had far many more people to take down. and this was a chance to do so, seeing she was not working.

with a sigh, the male pushed the door open and walked in, feeling his heart drop at the sight of the female, connected to god knows bow many machines. he took a seat beside her bed, quietly watching her sleep as he couldn't even gather his thoughts. he was worried, afraid to lose her. seeing she was sleeping, he reached his hand out, gently caressing her cheek and getting distracted by it, hoping she would wake up soon so he wouldnt feel as worried.
