@♛ edelweiss "Mock you?" She turned after hearing that words only to be greeted by the sight of the wailing woman, the sight was heart wrenching but it did nothing to her heart, at least that what she believed in. "I just want a fair fight. Not to mock you. If our fate says that we'll meet, then we shall. By then, I hope you're already healed. And better to stay away from that bar for awhile. You're just gonna give yourself more trouble. The next one being sent to you wont hesitate to kill you." She heaved a sigh and turned her back on the other woman again. "Stay out of the trouble." Was the last words she spoke to the target before leaving the scene, already feeling the headache coming; Val took her mask off once she's in a safe distance, now she's just a university student, not a killer. She snorted, what an irony. She supposed to be a cold blooded killer, showing no mercy. She was doing great until the last target. What made her so different? Chaewon shook her head. "Better not dwelling on that... I still have exams tomorrow." She muttered softly and made her way back home.

@♛ valkyrie Xue could hear the footsteps thumping behind her, the searing pain on her shoulder making her yell in pain as she turned to face the attacker, her eyes filled with hatred, dread and loss as she could only watch the knife edging closer and closer to her neck, the white mask of the opponent inching nearer to her face. Hot tears escaped her eyes as she shut them tightly, bracing herself for the end of her, mentally apologizing to the students who looked up to her, her gang members who took her in, and her brother who always took care and worked hard for her. The prick on her skin signalled the start of her demise, but it stopped there, the attacker slowly stating her intention to which Edel screamed at her. "Why! Just kill me now! You're letting me live so that you can mock me again, aren't you!"
Falling back on her knees, she could wail and watch the enemy leave as she punched the floor again and again, unhappy about how weak she truly was and how humiliated she felt.

@♛ edelweiss She winced as the keys pointy ends scrapped her arm. Val hissed in pain as she take a look at her small yet deep slash on her arm. Her eyes squinting in a furious gaze as she took out her dagger from the hidden place underneath her jacket. "You just made a terrible mistake." She said as she slowly made her way to the limping girl, her hand cluthed tightly on the dagger before she made a light slash on the woman's shoulder and just before she drove her dagger into the other's neck, she stopped as the tip of it touched yhe skin. Taking a deep breath she straighten up. "I wont kill you right now. You were already injured before our fight. Treat your wound right. We shall meet again." She pulled her dagger back and sigh before turning around, walking toward the other end of the street. "You're being soft to her." Her inner voice told her but she just shrugged it off. Why did she stop? Why did ahe gave the woman another chance to live? She didn't know the exact reason but hopefully when they cross path again, they could fight to all their strength.

@♛ valkyrie "Not... yet!" It was the perfect moment when the attacker dashed in, and using every ounce of strength, she tumbled out of the way before slashing her opponent's free arm with the set of keys. Taking the chance while her opponent faltered, she clutched the side of her ribs as she attempted to limp away, only managing to get as far as the next support pillar.

@♛ edelweiss She could see it. Her opponent finally grows weaker but the more she took the exhausted woman's appearance, the more she felt conflicted. Val had her eyes focused on the other's chest, right where her heart located. One strong punch there could be really fatal and while she didnt usually do it like that, this time it will suffice. Wasting no time, she dashed forward; fist raised, ready to deliver that one blow. "With this, say good bye."

@♛ valkyrie Xue could feel herself getting weaker with every hit she got, her punches still connecting but the impact was getting lesser and lesser as she quickly got overpowered by the attacker. "If only I was in a better condition," she chided herself mentally amidst the fight, that minimal pause making her open as she received one more strike to the side of her ribs, sending her down on one knee as she struggled to prop herself up, spitting out the blood she tasted. Was this the end for her? "Not yet..." she barely whispered under her breath, one hand stealthily reaching into her pocket to take out her set of home keys; it wasn't sharp, but it was enough to cut someone as a distraction for escape, that someone who was coming over any second right now.

@♛ edelweiss "Please go down fast, I still have class to attend tomorrow." She said back to the woman. She could see the difference between tthis punch to the other punches the other woman gave earlier, and for some reason she actually started to feel...reluctant to finish her job. This woman was right, the client was such a scum; but then again it wasn't in her nature to defy any orders that been given to her. She excahanged few punches with the girl although trying not to injure the other's face. 'Her face is too pretty to be ruined' Val shook her head slightly to dismiss the misleading thought in her mind and focusing back to their fight. But luckily she was trained well for a long fight so her stamina wont suffer too much.

@♛ valkyrie Xue grimaced, her grip loosening as she stumbled back, her eyes tearing at the sudden hit. Blowing out her nose, she scoffed at the woman's praise as she watched her slowly get up, a stalemate between them as they stared off against each other. "Please go down fast, I still have a class to teach tomorrow," she growled, keeping her fist clenched tight as she dashed in once more, aiming for the head amidst her blurry vision due to the knock on the ground before.

@♛ edelweiss Another loud thud resonate through the alley as her back made contact to the hard ground, making her cough a little. Looking up at the woman, Val actually let out a smirk "Good. Make this interesting." She swiftly raised her upper body, and heabutted the woman right on her nose to make her at least can break away from the grip. "You're good."

@♛ valkyrie Xue winced at as the pain surged throughout the entirely of her spine; any normal human would have blacked out by then, but still she struggled to stand up, the white sleeves of her dresse now stained with red as she wiped her bleeding forehead. "You're the one that's talking too much," she exclaimed, dashing in once again, anticipating the attacker's movements to which she adjusted, instantly flipping her and taking her down to the floor, her arm pinned against the attacker's chest. "The same trick won't work twice."

@♛ edelweiss A sigh could be heard from Val as she shook her head. "For someone who is really good in fighting, you forget the number one rule." She stepped aside to dodge and land a hard hit on the back of her neck "Never judge your oponent by their body size alone." She stares at the woman with cold eyes 'Right, and you shouldn't talk too much either.' She mentally scolded herself as she waits for the target to attack her again, seeing the other woman attempts to take her down with fists made her reluctant to draw her own daggers hidden underneath her jacket and beside its been awhile since she had a good sparring partner anyway.

@♛ valkyrie The strength of her assailant surprised Xue as she managed to sweep her off the ground, grimacing when she felt herself land on the floor with a loud thud, her forehead knocking against the ground, sending her into a daze as she struggled to stand up, trying her best to shake off the pain from her bleeding forehead, her arms on guard to minimize any openings. She really should have hit her hard instead, even if it meant that her knuckles were fractured. "End what, you little . You just got lucky." She cursed at the attacker's words, dashing forward this time as she attempted to take down her attacker to the floor.

@♛ edelweiss Val winced at the punch although its not like those bone crushing punch, it still managed to knock some wind out of her sending her staggering a bit. Really, she should never execute the stupid plan inside her head but soon she sees the opening and thanks to her fast reflect, she managed to dodge the kick and grabbing the leg which was aimed to her head. Sweeping the other leg which being the pillar support, she tossed the leg she grabbed earlier. Her whole demeanor changed as she relaxed and focusing all her attention to attack. "Alright. Enough playing around. Time to end this."

@♛ valkyrie Xue could feel the assailant's anger rising up, confirming it when said attacker dashed forward, throwing a rather careless punch to which she dodged with ease, ducking and striking her smaller frame dead on the center of her chest, although not as hard as she would have liked, her fists still aching from the incident yesterday. But if hands can't be used, there were still other limbs to finish the job. Not wasting any time, Xue poised for a kick, her hardened shin aiming for the girl's head, only for it to miss at the last second. "."

@♛ edelweiss Oh how she's tired of hearing that lines. Being judged because of her small, petite frame. She restrained herself to not rolled her eyes at those words. "You talked too much. Its noisy. Just say your last prayer." She said in monotone voice. Staring at the woman in front of her, she knew that the taller woman wanted her to make first move 'One miss movement, I could really ended up in hospital.' Val thought inwardly and sigh, the plan she had in mind might cost her a lot but she had no other choice as she dashed forward, trying to look reckless and unprofessional by rising her hand a little bit higher than a proper punch.

@♛ valkyrie "Really? You don't know how much I've been through and you want me to die just like that?" She mocked the shorter girl, pursing her lips as she loosened up, tossing her slung purse aside, before casually leaning against a support pillar. "Do you even know what that man did? You take orders from a weakling like him, you must be a weakling yourself, little girl. Go home and you'll be spared a trip to the hospital." She continued mocking her, not wanting to make the first move. Being an experienced fighter, she knew the first one to throw the punch was at a disadvantage. She needed to read her movements if she wanted to end this situation quickly.

@♛ edelweiss Instead of answering the question, Val kept mum and just stare at the woman in front of her. She was right; from the other's stance, she could tell that this lady is not gonna be an easy opponent and somehow her wish to go home early is rejected because she knew this fight is gonna take long time before she could execute her job. She took few steps forward toward the girl, the eyes that's not being covered by mask showed no emotion as she speaks "Just surrender. It's no use for you to go against me. Surrender and I'll make your death swift and painless, or you probbaly already gone before you could feel the pain."

@♛ valkyrie Xue clenched her fists as the masked lady walked into the same corner as her, her gut feeling proving once again to be right. The girl herself looked skinny and shorter than Xue herself, but there was something about her that was dangerous. Slowly standing up towards her, she questioned the intruder, even though she had a hunch of who hired her. "Who are you? Who do you work for?" Sighing, she shook her head, knowing that she should have ended the guy yesterday instead of dealing with all these sorts of trouble. Knowing that a fight was unavoidable, Xue cracked her neck, and even though the dress she wore was unsuitable, her fists were both painful but ready.

@♛ edelweiss she lets out a low cursing words as her target suddenly picked up her speed; so it seems that her target wasn't just a normal tutor or something but then again, the state of her client's bruised body and face showed her that her target is not going to be an easy one and this proved it. She wasted no time chasing after the other woman although still keeping quite a distance from the target as her father said 'Get spotted and you shall be the one who dead.' but seemed like the other woman was pretty smart, the corner of building was a good spot to get an upper hand for someone who knew how to utilized the dark spots there. Looking around, Val tried to find a place where she could still be hidden while keeping eye on her target but it seemed impossible to do so. With a sigh, she didn't have another choice but to reveal herself to the target by walking right into the same corner, keeping both her hands in her pants pockets.

@♛ valkyrie Stepping out of the building into the cool fresh evening air, Xue immediately felt that something was off. Maybe it was the way the wind blew, the way the cars moved, or the way the light hit the streets. Having been in several precarious situations herself, there was this gut feeling that slowly developed within her, somehow knowing when danger was abound. She tried to calm herself down, the brain working quickly, recalling each and every movement she made, any people she offended recently, and there was only this one person that came into mind: the guy from yesterday. But she beat him into a pulp, did he really seek a death wish trying to find trouble with her again? Probably not. Taking a few steps down the street, Xue still wasn't able to shrug off that uneasy feeling, and immediately darted around the corner of the building, dashing into a blind spot where she once again tried to regain her thoughts.

@♛ edelweiss Another day another mission. She got assigned to kill someone, according to her client, was a but she had a hard time to suppress a snort but that would ruin the business for her group and she certainly didn't want that to happen. After finding a clue about the whereabouts of the girl, she quietly made her way towards the said address all the while making sure she's still very well hidden. Val was already dozing off when the target reappear, apparently already done with her business. For some reason, all she could do was staring at how kind she looked to the boy and even to the mother, even though it might be just out of curtsey but she looked genuinely happy when she talked to the boy and that intrigued her. Shaking her head to shake herself out of the reverie, Val took a breath as she puts her half mask, her own trademark whenever she's in a mission and starts following the girl. Waiting a perfect moment to strike, hopefully she could ends it with just a one clean slice on the throat.

@♛ valkyrie "Teacher, are you feeling well today? You don't look so good," the boy with brown hazel eyes stared back at her in concern, to which Xue nodded with a soft smile, masking the pain she had on her fingers. Fighting and piano really didn't go well together, especially when she fractured a guy's cheekbones just yesterday for ually harassing one of the female staff at an underground bar. The bruises on her knuckles were barely invisible underneath the fleeting colors of sunset shining through the huge window, but the pricks and needles of each key pressed made her mentally wince every now and then. Guiding the young kid through the whole song, she watched him with with honey in her eyes as he caught every note perfectly, give a mini round of applause when the piece ended, then patting his head gently. "Keep on practicing hard, I'll see you for the next lesson!" Standing up, she mirrored the boy's beaming face, giving a curt bow to the boy's mother who kindly showed her to the door. Piano lessons always gave her a sense of satisfaction, something to give back to the society, even if the society itself hadn't been kind to her and her brother.
