Of course, the vocalizations were cut short by the other's words. "Really?" she asked, sharply turning to the other in a way that sent her ponytail whipping over her shoulder with shock written all over her face. "You were great! I'd totally play with you again," she said. She hummed in thought, crossing the room to grab her special violin case from where she'd hid it in a storage cabinet. "Maybe we can go to that diner on the next block? I really really want a milkshake...and a ton of fries. Plus, they have karaoke~" she said, adding the last part with an eager grin.

"Thank you for putting your faith in me, Serena... I got so nervous I almost messed up," she pouted, the image of hundred of eyes staring back at her making her shudder. "To many more shows together as well~" A celebration was indeed needed, as it was one of Xueting's milestones achieved, and one more step closer to her dream of performing around the around the world. "Do you have anywhere in mind?" she quipped, speedily packing her stuff before skipping next to the leader.

@♛ edelweiss There were a few moments of relative silence as the performance's final note rang throughout the hall and, besides that, all Serena could her was her heart thundering in her ears as the usual showtime adrenaline coursed through her veins. It was all soon drowned out by the audience's applause and the girl's serious expression shifted, a wide grin spreading across her face as she made her way center stage with Xue to bow. Serena always loved this part, where she could just bask in the appreciation of the crowd knowing that she'd put on a good show and that her parents would be proud. She thought about them often in those moments and it fueled her to keep going and improve every day. Even as they were exiting stage, the audience's applause continued and she let out a content sigh before turning on heel to face Xue as they walked to the green room. "That was amazing, as expected! You did a really good job," she complimented, moving her bow to the same hand has her instrument to give a big thumbs up. "We should celebrate! To our first successful show together~"

@♛ the dragon flower It came as a surprise to Xueting a few months back when the well respected leader invited her to perform together for a concert, and Xueting, being one of the newer faces back then, was utterly thankful yet worried that she would disappoint. But there she was right now, the leader and member now to partners who complemented each other, their chemistry witnessed by the audience as her fingers deftly swished across the keys, the beautiful harmony intertwining with the violin's melody. Their final piece ended on a high note, both of them greeted by a glorious applause when the lights came on. Standing up prim and proper, she made her way together with Serena towards the center of the stage, the applause reverberating around the hall once again when they bowed in appreciation.

@♛ edelweiss Even at night, Roseville was in full swing and abuzz with alive with the sounds of vehicles getting from point A to point B and the voices of the people the walked its well-lit streets. Serena was never the biggest fan of coming to this particular district because pretty much all rich people , according to her, but she didn't have much of a choice when the city's only legitimate recital hall was housed there. Within said hall, the piano and violin concert that she had been preparing for for the better part of a couple of months was nearly over with her and her partner, Xueting, performing their final song. A stark contrast to her usual visage, the girl typically known as The Dragon Flower, seemed normal—her face neutral, calm, and fully showing with her hair tied into a neat ponytail at the base of her skull—as she focused on playing each note in conversation with the accompanying piano. Occasionally, her form would jerk lightly with purposeful movement of the bow and deft fingers expertly danced across the fingerboard of the violin, but she remained relatively reserved. Their music lifted high above the stage to the high ceilings of the concert hall and filled the room with a beautiful sound that kept the audience sated, silent in their appreciation.
