@β youngjo "It's not easy. I don't think there's any way to completely obliterate NCT. They're too big, have too many sects. But if you want to dethrone them, there's no better time to do it than now, when they are still getting back on their feet after the leader switch." Wonho surmised, keeping his voice lower so that it would be hard for anyone else to hear over the music. Even though they were seemingly in private, he couldn't take the risk. "I want to get out of NCT before goes south, but I can't just walk out. That's why I need you. I need someone discrete on the inside who can work with me. And there's nothing more discrete than a hacker. I can help to guys get the upper hand. All I'm asking is for a place to fall when I jump."
@β wonho Youngjo seemed not to mind as much despite his upbringing, simply accepting it the way it was and sitting down with just enough distance to the other male to have a proper conversation without raising his voice or making one of them uncomfortable. At least he hoped so. "Something big? Oh please, anyone should have noticed the tension by now and if those who haven't are either fools or don't want to notice." The dark haired male paused at the rest of what the male in front of him said and hummed, suddenly completely serious once again and neatly keeping his hands in his lap. "Lacking proper leadership, you say.. I'd love to see that happening but I don't think it's that easy to get rid of a rather influencial gang. What are you planning to do that made you contact me?"
@β youngjo Giving the other's hand a proper shake, Wonho settled back down and made himself comfortable again. Well, as comfortable as he felt he could be on this likely germ spattered sofa. He perched on the edge, leaning forward to brace his elbows against his knees. "No one that doesn't need to know." Hoseok assured him vaguely and tried to exude a calm vibe. He knew the other had to have a lot of uncertainty meeting someone who was in a rival gang, but hopefully that would be a thing of the past soon. "I was told to touch base with you because something big is about to go down. NCT lacks proper leadership. They're like a bunch of lost kids and I honestly don't want to be caught up in it all when they destroy themselves. So... That's why I'm here."
@β wonho At least there was a secluded room for the two of them where Youngjo didn't feel like his ears were about to fall off or was being touched by curious hands. He did dress up as usual after all which wasn't always a good idea and attracted too much attention sometimes. But now that he was right in front of the person who wanted to talk to him, the male offered a faint smile and shook his hand firmly. "I'm Ravn and pleased to meet you as well. I'm guessing it's something urgent because of how sudden the request reached me and the whole tension lately. Does anyone else know about this meeting here?"
@β youngjo Wonho wasn't one for strip clubs, but he'd unfortunately had to become acclimated to them over the years. A surprising amount of business went down in them and it wasn't just ual transactions. The dim lighting, crowded atmosphere, booming music, and the distraction of gyrating beauties provided the perfect amount of disgression for discussion things you didn't want anyone else to be privy to. Finding himself in one of the back VIP rooms, Wonho smiled politely when the other beta finally walked in. "I got here early and booked the room so it didn't look suspicious. I've only been about an hour." Wonho assured him with a shrug. He'd made a show of ordering some drinks which still sat untouched on the counter and an obligatory lapdance to blend in, but all of it had been a show. Rising up from his seat, he held out his hand toward the other. "I'm Wonho. It's nice to finally meet you."
@β wonho Youngjo was surprised by the sudden request to meet up with a secret source but he welcomed it nonetheless, even though the place to meet up wasn't one he liked or appreciated. At least it was loud enough with more than enough distraction for them to hide from curious eyes. It would be way too risky if it was more in the open and they couldn't lose more time or cause more problems than necessary. "Hope you haven't been waiting for too long." The male spoke once he's close enough to the dark haired man who he's supposed to talk to.
@β jaemin Jeno grinned at the end of Jaemin's statement. For once, the boy who keeps ending up in jail and needing to be bailed out isn't being jailed- again. Jeno doesn't want to think how Dejun would probably either send Jeno after Jaemin or try to kill Jaemin himself. "Alright, stop getting arrested and we can talk. Besides, what would've you seen, anyways?" Jeno heads down the stairs, walking his way to the police station. "Really. Stop getting arrested."
@β jeno Jaemin couldn't help but be surprised by how thoughtful Jeno was being, asking what type of clothing he wanted specifically. Jaemin wondered why everyone always considered the other cold, when Jaemin would label him currently as one of the most considerate members of the gang. "Just a hoodie is fine, and I'll take whatever sneakers you have lying around." Jaemin laughed but faked it as a cough when the other asked what had happened this time. "I'm on the other side of the situation now. I'm not a suspect I'm a witness, just have to tell them what I saw. Which was nothing."
@β jaemin Jeno grins, looking at his wardrobe, clothes that probably fit Jaemin. They were probably the same size, he supposed. "What do you want? Hoodies? Sweatpants? You want shoes too?". He puts down his phone briefly before thinking of something. "Also, what happened this time?" For the sake of not getting arrested.
@β jeno Jaemin was sitting in the back of a police car when he received Jeno's message and it brought a smile to his face. No one really ever thanked him for anything, especially not in a context like this. "If you're really thankful pick me up from the police station and bring me a change of clothes, I'm not exactly in the mood for being eye ed after being splashed in some guys blood."
@β jaemin Jeno hates running, yet he's glad Jaemin gives him the headstart, immediately moving out of the room- making sure no one can see him, he locates the trap door, sliding through, finding the exit, rolling his eyes at the sheer amount of noise he could hear. Honestly, why did people like being outside. Jeno was confused but he exits, looking both ways before pulling out his phone and sending a short thanks to Jaemin.
@β jeno Jaemin closed his eyes as the blood splattered over his face and body. Jaemin didn’t think he would ever get used to feeling of someone’s last breath. But he couldn’t contemplate the end of life for too long as Jeno had to escape in seconds. “I’m going to start screaming in five seconds. There is a trap door near the back exit you can take that will lead you a few blocks away from the club.” Jaemin spoke in hushed whispers before immediately letting out a shrill scream as security immediately flooded the room with guns drawn.
@β jaemin Jeno had settled himself comfortably behind a table, knees almost begging, but he knew he shouldn't shift, in the event that the target heard him and realized what happened. Hearing Jaemin's voice, Jeno pulls his shot gun out of his pocket, weighing it in his hand. He watches- and wonders- how Jaemin can do it. He has a reputation for getting in trouble and for refusing to use his gun. Jeno doesn't understand, but he does mentally thank Jaemin before he aims- hands not wavering, knowing what he has to do, firing off a clean shot.
@β jeno A few minutes after Jeno had disappeared to the third room the man approached him about a private dance. Jaemin hesitated, 'won't your favorite get jealous?' he questioned holding onto the man's hand, letting their arms swing while the fingers on his opposite hand tapped his cheek in faux contemplation. In case things took a turn, Jaemin couldn't seem too eager, as though he was setting the man up by immediately going with him. Everyone had witnessed his hesitance, his slight discomfort before he eventually agreed.
Jaemin figured that Jeno would be well concealed in the room but just in case Jaemin covered the man's eyes. 'Imagine we're sneaking away in the night through the dark to find somewhere to do something dirty, close your eyes.' Jaemin whispered while he led the man into the room and guided him to the seat in the center, immediately walking behind him and kissing over his neck, running his hands over the man's chest, while continuing to cover his eyes, though he wasn't sure how much long he could manage it, the visuals were part of the experience. But Jaemin's position and the man's vulnerable state gave Jeno a clear front head shot if he wanted to take it.
@β jaemin As much as Jeno didn't like other people, he had to admit, Jaemin was close to an ideal partner for this kind of situation. Too bad only time they'd ever interacted was because of men who he thought were creeps. Too bad Jaemin got caught up in it all, he thinks. Tapping his foot, he watches Jaemin, noticing Jaemin's cues to the third room, Jeno making his way over there- avoiding getting seen by the target. God, Jeno really hates this part of his work. Sneaking glances back to Jaemin to make sure the plan hasn't changed, Jeno taps his side five times- good luck he tells himself.
@β jeno Jaemin had learned that one of the gang's hitmen were going to be trailing a regular at the strip club. The guy didn't stay in the main area for long, he usually found his favorite dancer and went somewhere more private. But in preparation for tonight Jaemin's switchblade had tore into the strippers wardrobe leaving them without anything to wear on stage and much too upset to dance. That's where Jaemin came in paying the man more attention than he deserved and practically begging to be asked for a private dance. Jaemin briefly made eye contact with Jeno and nodded toward the private rooms to signal he would be headed their soon. Curling his thumb and pinky around the pole to form the number three, letting Jeno know the third room.
@β jaemin jeno hated strip clubs. well, he hated clubs in general, so he wasn't saying anything, ignoring the headache that was sure to start making his life miserable. he doesn't like crowds, but he had to keep an eye on the man who'd walked in shortly before jeno did. only thing that jeno supposed made this a little easier was the fact he knew someone here- jaemin- but even then the man jeno was watching was sure to disappear.
