The sun fell in love with the moon. Because of the jealousy of the Gods they were separated and forced to be apart for the rest of eternity when the moon comes up, the sun goes down. The fates deciding this was unfair decided to create soulmates, placing a small piece of the moon in one person and one piece of sun in the other. But years later the gods realized their mistake and took their own place as the sun and the moon, allowing the two lovers to reincarnate as humans.
