❝ when Ultra leaves her flash drive in one of the library computers, either on campus or home, it's almost like the world is ending. she traced her steps to both and the precious drive was nowhere to be found. not only does it have a few cheeky Dallae wips on it, but it also has all of the research done so far for her big System Architecture Design and Modeling project. you don't even know how much of a hero you are when you call/text the nearly illegible number scrawled on the side in sharpie. dramatically indebted, she offers a vague but certain "anything you want" as a thanks.

❝ a master's program makes for a lot of long nights—long nights full of dense walls of text and complex diagrams in dire need of something to cut through the brain fog. so, Ultra honors much needed breaks with some mindless music, either playing her guitar, singing, or a combination of the two. she's been doing it since forever, basically, and it's just become a part of the neighborhood's atmospheric sound. it's become a part of the white noise that helps you wind down at the end of the day but you've never been able to put a face to the music until her open window offers up that chance.

﹝•••﹞a sharehouse held thin walls that even students could hear a single guitar strum nearby thick bricks. joshua was famous for being a street performer and a noise creator from the building he lived in. he received many noise complaints and a majority of them came from you who couldn't sleep every time he busts his electric guitar on amp.

one day, he knocked on your door, before closing the wooden structure shut in front of his face, joshua sent you an offer that made you incredibly bewildered. "hey, i'm sorry for bothering you in such short notice, but may i help you with something? i see that you're quite busy with work and i was thinking of extending a hand in payment from all the ruckus i've been causing"
