@yang jeongin She takes a seat at the table, awaiting her companion to do the same. A smile graces her tiers as she grasps her cup, warm in her hands. “You wish I’d let you pay the next time we’re out,” Yein can’t help but retort once more, her attention soon averting to the beverage in her hands. The heat comforts her, and she sighs with ease before blowing cool air at her cappuccino. A small sip of the refreshment proves it to be hot still, and thus she turns to her slice of lemon poppyseed bread, cutting a sliver of it with her fork. With a glimmer in her eyes, she holds the fork near Jeongin’s face. “Here, have a bite. Then maybe we can talk about ourselves," she urges.
@jung yein "I guess we do," he agreed, gently bumping her hip with his. Once they are next in line, he repeats their orders and pays, placing his wallet back in his pocket immediately after so he didn't forget it when they say down. The younger jumps a bit at the poke, but can't help the beam forming on his face and laugh bubbling in his chest. "And even next time I'll still pay!"
Jeongin briefly poked his tongue out at her in a bit of a teasing manner, though still being serious about not letting her pay the next time, and there would be a next time, the two of them go out somewhere. Grabbing their items that rested on a tray once they were ready, his brown orbs followed where she motioned and almost immediately found himself nodding his head. "That's the perfect spot, fine by me." He glanced at her once more, eyes shining with fondness, his feet eventually shuffling over to their seats and sat the tray down on the small table.
@yang jeongin "We both have quite the sweet tooth, I see." Upon receiving a response from the latter, Yein can only chuckle softly. The line soon shifts and the pair swiftly make their order, to which the female allows her companion to pay, though not without giving him a playful poke in the side afterward. "Next time it's on me and that's that. Though I do appreciate it."
Their beverages and treats are quick to come out—a hot chocolate and doughnut for Jeongin and a hot cappuccino and a slice of lemon poppy seed bread for the girl. "Where do you want to sit? I was thinking over there." Her doe eyes blink up at the taller as she points out a table just beside a window. Truthfully, window seats are her favorite, and she can only hope that perhaps this is a common interest they share.
@jung yein "Nope, doesn't matter. Not letting it happen." He mirrored her pout, but only for a few seconds before his face broke out into another grin. It seemed like no matter the situation, Yein always found a way to make him feel at ease again. The scent of the bakery had hit his nose long before the two had even stepped inside, fogging his brain even more once they stood in line. "Hm, maybe a doughnut?" Jeongin suggested for himself. It took everything in him to refrain from pressing his face and palms against the glass like a child, staring at the colorful treats in front of them. "Annnd a hot chocolate." He firmly nodded, more so to himself than anything, starting to reach in his pocket for his wallet. "I heard this place is pretty good."
@yang jeongin In the short period of time that Yein has gotten to know Jeongin, she has, undeniably, become fond of him. This is evident in the way in which the enthusiasm defining his visage is thus reflected upon her own features, carmine tiers that are pulled upward into a bright smile. "But I insist—I am the older one here after all." A playful pout follows the woman's words as she firstly enters the shop and tugs her companion in after her. "Plus I owe you, remember?" She gives a wrinkle of her nose as they make their way to the counter, her scrutiny now lain across the menu plastered against the wall. "Now what do you feel like getting? I may just have to get a hot beverage, maybe even a pastry." A hum leaves Yein's lips, her arm still entangled with the younger's. Her gaze falls from the menu, to Jeongin's bright face, then to the display case filled with an assortment of sweet treats.
@jung yein Usually, Jeongin would be sharing his time between working, schooling and sleeping. But today was different; he was actually leaving the security of his house to meet with somebody. It had been a while since he been on anything even close to a date, so admittedly the boy was a bit nervous. But after shifting his attention from his converse to the approaching woman in front of him, his eyes lit up and his worries seemed to disappear.
"Hey," he greeted excitedly, face lit up with as equal enthusiasm as his eyes, "nah, you're fine. I've only been waiting for a minute or two." Linking arms with Yein, a habit he formed when it came to anybody he was close with, he gave a gentle nod as the signal to go inside. Grabbing the door handle, he gently pulled it open and held it for his date to lead him in. "Also, you know I'm not letting you pay."
@yang jeongin her heels meet concrete, plummet against alabaster as jung yein makes her way to the café—a rather cozy location for a date. she adjusts the strap of her crossbody bag, then shields her umber orbs from the sheen of the peach sun as she gives that empyrean firmament a gaze filled with adulation. what a perfect day it is, ever more fulfilling to her merriment when she is met by another figure at the entrance of the lovely café.
yang jeongin, her companion for the day. "it looks like you beat me here." her eyes are reminiscent that of crescent moons upon eyeing his visage—she can't help but chuckle softly, giving the younger a firm pat atop his head. if it weren't for the latter's teasing, perhaps the woman might have forgotten about how she had carelessly abandoned their last outing together. this time, she promises such a flaw will not emerge. "i hope you weren't waiting long. shall we head inside? it's my treat today."
