@jeon jungkook playfully rolling her eyes, letting out a small snort as she shakes her head. "pft, you dork." even though she tried not to, she couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. inhaling and exhaling deeply, she slowly calms herself down as the colors on her cheeks steadily disappears. it'd be a lie if she didn't like that he makes her feel flustered and all, although, he probably already knows that - at least that's what she thinks. raising an eyebrow and giving him her full attention, she makes a face at him at how confident he is. "don't be so assured. i know i'll bring you down with me." squinting her eyes at his demeanor, she nudges his shoulders in return before a laugh escapes from her, "you dork." organizing the snacks and fruits onto the mat, she looks at him and nods her head with a shy smile painted on her lips before lifting a hand up to tuck some hair behind her ear. "yeah and thanks! i didn't know if these were suitable for a picnic, so..." murmuring softly as she bit her bottom lip. blinking her eyes a few times at his words, she actually didn't expect him to bring anything else besides drinks. "oh! that sounds nice actually!" clasping her hands together in excitement as she stares at the desserts, especially the macaroons since she loved those. her attention goes back to him and is surprised when he reaches out to her with a strawberry in his hand, she leans forward a bit to take the strawberry with before leaning backwards, holding the strawberry in before reaching a hand for it as she takes a bite, letting out a quiet laugh as she tastes the sweet and juiciness of the fruit. "it does taste good!" she nods her head in agreement as she takes another bite, even better since he was the one that offered it to her. looking around the park and enjoying the scenery, she sighs softly at how peaceful it is as she takes the last bite of the strawberry. she usually always goes to the park with her other members or by herself, but it's even better with him by her side. she stares at the fountain, watching the waters flow within it before turning away. she leans a bit to grab two sandwiches before handing out one to him. "here." she smiles softly, waiting for him to take the sandwich from her.

@park chaeyoung a chuckle resonates from the back of his throat, hand up in the air upon noting her facial expression, pearly whites digging into the soft flesh to stop the smile from widening. “I was just saying.” he responds, dropping his hand back down to his side whilst the other remains in her grasp, not even attempting to pull out from hold but rather enjoying it. perhaps it had grown on him, the very few times she had done this. he recalls the first time, having been caught off guard by her mere actions but it was endearing. although a quiet murmur, he manages to grasp what she says and it does nothing but make him feel a little shy if anything, a smile settling atop his lips anyways and he hums, not having the need to say anything in response whilst swinging their hands. it only widens upon noticing the change in her demeanour with her cheeks flushed a bright shade of pink once again and it feeds his ego, knowing he was the cause of it. cute, he thinks to himself, attention flickering to her more often than not and he raises a brow. “oh? we’ll just have to see about that now, wouldn’t we?” he wiggles his brows and gives her a gently nudge with his shoulder, eyes twinkling with mischief. upon reaching the spot, jungkook stood aside and watched as she pulled out a mat for them with adoration before it finally dawned on himself, the nerves he had been experience since the morning were long gone before he even noticed and perhaps it had to do with the company he had, feeling comfortable and at ease with her by his side as they prepare to enjoy the rest of the day at the park. “you prepared all this?” he glances at the foods and snacks she had pulled out from the basket, following her as he kicks off his shoes and sits down on the mat. “It looks great.” he gives her hand a squeeze before reaching out for the fruit bowel, taking out a strawberry and popping it into his mouth. “I got some drinks and I hope you got a sweet tooth because I got some macaroons and cake slices.” he says, pulling for a few drinks that varied from plain water to squash and the deserts before humming under his breath, the sweet acidic taste welcoming his taste buds. “tastes as great as it looks, try one.” He reaches out for another strawberry, this time holding it in front of her lips whilst waiting for her.

@jeon jungkook a thin line forms on her brims, squinting her eyes at him before tsking at his words. "yeah, i do. should i not?" obviously, she knew he was just joking as a small snort escapes from her. she blinked her eyes and softly stares at him, listening to him as his words capture her heart even more. she would lie if that didn't make her want to hug him at this moment, but of course, she held herself back from doing so. "i-it's not silly...i find it cute actually." she mumbled shyly before looking away from him once again. while still grasping onto his pinky, she could hear his question, but chooses to pretend as if she didn't hear it as her cheeks grew even more red. she breathes in and out softly in hopes that would help calm herself and her redden face. goddammit, she thought to herself, pouting a bit at how embarrassing she must look with her face being like this at the moment. she immediately looks up at him, glaring in a joking demeanor, "throw me in the water and you're going down with me." biting back from cracking a smile at how mischievous he is, but then again, that was what made her attracted to him in the first place. the park felt nice and peaceful, even better with him. reaching the spot that they agreed on having their picnic at and letting go of his pinky, she reaches into her basket and takes out the pastel orange checkered picnic mat. gently setting the basket down, she lays the mat onto the grass, neatly spreading it out before grabbing the basket and putting it in the middle. she smiles in satisfaction and looks at him, "let's sit." she takes off her sandals, setting it aside before sitting herself onto the mat, making herself as comfortable as possible. opening the basket, she takes out what she prepped for this date and tidily places then on the mat - fruits, sandwiches, and cheese, meat & crackers. "go ahead and enjoy them. it's not much, but i hope it's ok."

@park chaeyoung if he notices her staring at him, he doesn’t mention it, not when he was equally guilty of doing the exact same thing but could you blame him when she looked the way she did? the floral dress complimenting her nicely, and it brings him immense joy knowing, of all people, she wanted to be here with him— at least he hoped. damn the nerves. the corner of his lips twitch at the mellifluous sound emitting from you, ringing into his eardrums and forcing his attention back on her. “damn, you liked it that much?” he jokes, his lips nervously before releasing a chuckle, nimble fingers running through his hair and messing up the effort he had put to keep it tidy. “I’m glad you do, i often associate flowers with their meanings. might be silly but sometimes they just express things you don’t need to say out loud.” He murmurs under his breath, attention briefly settling onto the bright yellow petals before moving onto her countenance as his smile widens, appreciating the reaction he managed to coax out of her from his words. red was definitely her colour, he thinks to himself. for a moment, he lets the silence take its place. it was nice, nothing near uncomfortable or awkward as they walked into the park alongside each other whilst his eyes roamed around the place for an ideal spot for them. “why are you so cute?” He grunts under his breath when she latches onto his pinky, feeling rather enamoured by the action but he glances towards the fountain when it’s brought up, humming in approval. “sounds great to me. I mean— as long as I get to throw you in the fountain later.” He flashes a cheeky grin, changing course and moving towards it.

@jeon jungkook she fondly stares at him, feeling breathless of just him being here even though the date has yet to begin. she just couldn't help but gain more emotions because of him, it felt as if her heart could burst at any moment. realizing she has been staring at him for too long, she quickly looks away, eyeing the sunflower once again. a soft laugh escapes from her as she shakes her head, "i don't like it....i love it. and i don't mind what you give me, honestly. it's the thought that matters to me." a cheerful smile is evident on her when he tells her the meaning of the flower, still admiring the sunflower. "that's what makes it even more special." securing the flower gently in her hand, she nods her head before beginning to walk towards the park. the touch of his hand on her lower back caught her by surprise and got her flustered, though, she tries to contain it and hopes he doesn't notice. his comment got her even more flustered as she can feel her cheeks burning up. "thanks." a bashful smile painted on her lips as she finally gains confidence to look up and around to find a good picnic spot for their date. as she eyes the area, she notices an empty grassy area that's fairly close to the fountain of the park. she takes the sunflower in her other hand, that's also holding the picnic basket, before using her free one to gently hold on to his pinky. "there's a fairly empty spot kind of near the fountain over there. maybe we can have our picnic there?" she turns to look at him, seeing if he would like to take place there.

@park chaeyoung to say he wasn’t nervous about her reaction would be an understatement, not liking qualm he was currently experiencing about whether she liked it or not but he finds himself calming down anyways, the smile carving onto her lips giving him reassurance and he releases a breath he didn’t know he was holding. “I hope you like it. I know it’s not typical rose that people usually go for but I think it radiates happy vibes.“ he utters sheepishly, squeezing at his nape as soon as she takes the flower from him. “besides, sunflowers symbolise adoration and.. yeah.” he clears his throat, demeanour changing into a rather playful one to mask the flustered feeling that basks within him. he could practically feel blood rushing up to the tip of his ears and he hopes she doesn’t notice. tilting his head back to get a better view of her, he finally takes the time to note down how she looks. beautiful as always. the way her cheeks paint in a pretty shade of pink doesn’t do any justice either and he exhales under his breath, nodding his head when she motions towards the park, a palm instantly pressing against her lower back as though to guide her. “you look beautiful.” He adds on casually, eyes flickering over to the people around them instead of her.

@jeon jungkook she lets out a soft sigh, enjoying the weather, the ambience being perfect as of today with the gentle cool breeze. opening the picnic basket, just to make sure she packed everything, for the second time, as she did not want to have forgotten anything. closing the basket, she hears a familiar voice and her heart races since, of course, she knew who it already is. her attention turns towards him, the corners of her lips slowly lifting up to a bright smile just at the sight of him. "hey..." she sheepishly responds. her eyes focuses onto the sunflower that he holds up to her and she gently takes it with her free hand. admiring the large flower head with it's bright yellow petals as her emotions is filled with nothing, but happiness. "thank you." her cheeks lightly flushes a pink color as she turns her gaze up to meet his again, a content smile evident on her lips. to be honest, she did not expect him to pull such a move, but she appreciates it even more for it and finding him just as adorable as ever since this moment is special to her. biting her bottom tier and gently clearing , she nods her head in the direction of the park entrance, still looking at him, "shall we go?"

@park chaeyoung a small hum emits from jungkook in hopes to distract himself from the first date jitters he was going through as he made his way down the road that led towards the park, eyes flickering briefly to the clear blue sky in gratitude before shifting to the bag in his hand. he had woken up early for the day, turning his room upside down before settling on a plain black t-shirt that he tucked into his ripped jeans with his hi-top sneakers completing the look, and then left to grab some drinks. perhaps he got a little carried away, picking out a fresh box of macaroons, some cake slices and a fresh little flower for his date before finally deciding to make his way. his lips nervously, jungkook looks up to find the park in front of his visage, eyes roaming for a minute or two before settling on the one he was looking for. he smiles, lips subconsciously twitching up at the sight as he took note of her outfit before finally deciding to approach her. “hey..” he breathes out, eyes meeting hers before holding out the sunflower. “for you.”

@jeon jungkook Outside the entrance of the park, rocking back and forth, from heel to toe, she waits for her date while holding the picnic lunch box in her hands. Maybe she came a tad bit early for this get-together, but she did not mind. She lifts a hand up to her hair, tucking the locks behind her ear before bringing her hand down again. Rosé took time on trying to find the right outfit, wearing a flowy, simple floral dress with cream colored sandals. She even took the effort on prepping the foods & snacks to impress her date, wanting to make it as aesthetic and perfect as possible. A sense of nervousness, yet excitement filled her as she hums a soft tune to soothe her from being anxious. Yet, she couldn't help herself from trying to bite back an elated smile.
