@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ It was a show by the time that Sehyoon got back to work, he was heavily scolded, funny that he was the boss of the company and he could still be told off. He was busy in meetings and phone calls but he gave himself some time to finally be able to eat. It had been hours since he had left the party and the food was just so good. He was going to be hooked on this male's cooking. He wasn't the type to eat a lot but he ate the whole lot without any regrets. He gave in a deep sigh of enjoyment looking over his emails.

He had thought about texting Junhee, he wanted to keep talking to him, it was almost on cue that he received a text message from Junhee, he couldn't help but smile reading over the text and he wanted to instantly reply.

@P. Junhee (Mr. Chef) - I didn't get to eat it hot but I did reheat it and it was simply amazing, I think you might get me hooked on something that I can't always have all the time.
You would think being the owner I wouldn't get scolded but oh boy did I, I think maybe another meal might be on the table, ;)

Sehyoon couldn't help but hit send, he laughed at himself for his response as he continued to flick through his emails that seemed to never end. he rubbed his eyes tired from constantly watching the screen until he sat back staring up at the ceiling. He was about done with work he didn't want to do much more he closed his eyes and soon he just closed down his laptop. He grabbed his keys and started to prepare to leave wondering if he would get another text message before he left.

@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ The little black square felt heavy in Jun's fingers, much heavier than his own. Flipping it over to take in the subtle elegance, he gave Yoon a small nod of thanks. Tucking it into his pocket, Junhee returned to the kitchen, finding a marker to label the generous portion with the name of the other man. He was thankful his handwriting was quick - albeit messy in a doctor's script sort of way - because he was not expecting to be followed. The sound of Sehyoon's voice nearly made him jump out of his skin, despite it being seconds after the previous interaction ended. He wasn't anticipating the other being ready to leave so soon.

Jun's lips parted, prepared to say something - even though he wasn't really sure what - and instead, turned halfway through the action, keeping a light smile on his features. Capping the marker, he moved to hand the plates to Sehyoon, nodding once again. "I'll be sure to contact you... Don't feel under any pressure to reply quickly, though. You are a very busy man, judging by the buzzing in your pocket." His eyes shone with humor, teasing the businessman once more. It was once again his turn to be caught off guard, however, when he felt the hand graze his cheek, and the soft touch on his shoulder. He was definitely not expecting that from Sehyoon. Maybe sometime in the future, but definitely not today. It made Junhee want to impulsively lean in and peck his cheek - But he refrained, thinking the situation through for a moment to check his flighty desires. "Take care." The blue haired male parroted, biting his lips together so he didn't smile too much as he watched Sehyoon leaving the mansion for the day.

In fact, the other was barely out of sight when Junhee pulled the card from his pocket, and then his phone, quickly transferring the name and number so he could tuck the object away in his wallet for safekeeping. He was sentimental like that, and would probably mark the date on the card as well, so he could remember when he met the other; there was the feeling that this wouldn't be the last time at all.

It took some hours for him to make use of the new contact, however, as the party began to move towards the kitchen, and Jun got swept up in the excitement of the chipmunk and the rest of the hybrids and guests who joined them today. The party went swimmingly, and Jun was exhausted by sundown when things began to calm. He'd spent the afternoon shuffling dishes and restocking things - as well as taking mental notes of who liked what and which dishes weren't as popular. He was loading the last of his serving trays into his SUV as the sun finally went down, and he pulled out his phone to check the time. Would it be too soon to say hello? Too late for the other to receive a message? He could always text back in the morning... Junhee debated with himself before finally giving in, resting his back against the side of his car and pulling up his messaging app.

@ K. Sehyoon (Mansion) - I hope you got the chance to eat dinner before it got cold... And that you didn't get scolded too much.

Junhee hit send before he could second guess himself, sighing as he tucked his phone back into his pocket, standing upright to drag himself back into the mansion. He wanted to make sure there wasn't too much more mess before he left for the night, since the party had really taken a lot out of him.

@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ "I know, my apologies I really couldn't help myself from teasing a little," Sehyoon confessed, he covered his mouth to try and hide the smile that refused to go away, "Junhee, you are a diamond yourself, don't compare your successes to mine, I think you are absolutely stunning," Yoon wasn't the type to flatter so he was being very honest and very blunt at the fact that he didn't seem to like how the other didn't have faith that he too was someone special.

"Ah- I must be keeping you" he thought maybe it was that Junhee was busy, he just liked being aware of his surrounds, who or what was in the room, maybe it was slight paranoia but he didn't feel overly comfortable not looking around every now and then unless he was very aware of his surroundings. he frowned though something to him didn't sit right with how the other was leaving. He took the white business card and handed his own to Junhee, his was black with a gold trim and gold writing, he had these designed when he first went to business school and he felt the black was a classy touch.

"Jun-" he spoke but before he knew it he watched the blue haired male retreat. he bit down onto his bottom lip, maybe he had done something wrong and before he knew it his feet were guiding him to follow the male into the kitchen, he felt a need to clarify himself even if it wasn't needed. He had to leave if anything and so he followed to collect the food from the man who so generously made it. "I just thought I would say, as I do have to leave, I do plan to take you up on your offer, text me when you are free, I want to get to know you better," he admitted this as he gazed downwards almost embarrassed admitting such a thing.

"Plus, I will get scolded going into work," he gave a half smile showing about 30 missed calls from different people "I wanted to talk to you more, you are very interesting to me," He gave a half smile and soon shoved his phone into his pocket as he organised himself, "So.. yeah, text me when you are next free and I will come over or even if you wish to come over to mine, the offer is open," he grabbed the food items that had been left aside for him his stomach making noises to say it was hungry but he wasn't the type to eat in public unless he was in the office. he gave a soft pat to Junhee's shoulder letting his thumb rub against his cheek. "I'll talk to you soon Jun," he said this softly and kindly there was no way that he could just leave their conversation at that and not bring it up again, he genuinely wanted to learn more about the blue hair male. "Take care," it was Yoon's turn to leave and with that he left with the food in his hands to go back to work.

@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ The red color only grew deeper as Sehyoon caught onto the possible implication of Jun's words, his eyes closing as a sheepish smile crossed his features. "I really didn't mean it like that, you'll have to forgive me. It's not often I get to spend so much time with handsome, humble, and successful guys. You're kind of a diamond compared to someone like me." Jun admitted this freely, since he was somewhat taken with the other male already, and it was showing. For once, he wished that he didn't have such an expressive face and way of speaking. It really left his heart out on his sleeve for everyone to see.

Noting the other's wandering gaze, and looked down, his lips just to keep them from sticking together. He must be really boring to someone who had it all - and had it all together, as well. "You know, you don't have to keep talking to me. We could always just exchange numbers so I'm not holding you back." The younger of the two offered softly, reaching into his pocket for his wallet, complete with business cards. They were plain, heavy cardstock, his name, phone number and email being all that was necessary. Usually, if Junhee was handing these out, the person he was talking to already knew what he did for a living and wanted to procure his services.

"I'll let you enjoy the party, but... You know. The offer stands, should you... Find the urge to have a good, home-cooked meal one of these days. Just reach out, and I'll make time." He concluded, offering out the white rectangle with his lips pressed together softly; trying to think of a way to make a classy exit without seeming to be so embarrassed he had to leave (even though Junhee was borderline there, honestly). "I'll go label your plate so you can take it home or back to work, and I'll leave it in the fridge so nothing goes bad." Nodding once, Jun used that instead of a bow to cue his leaving, despite much more wanting a hug - but he was obviously the touchy sort anyways. "Take care, Sehyoon," were his final words, leaving the raven-haired male that had his stomach in knots behind him while he went back to the one place that he always felt safe - the kitchen.

@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ “Thank you that really means a lot to me,” Sehyoon spoke quite fondly his gaze warmer than his usual as he felt the hand touch against his arm, he wasn’t much of a person to lean or touch into someone’s personal space and usually he was quite taken aback by it but this time he wasn’t, he had already felt a connection with Junhee almost instantly. “Your words are very kind,” he said this genuinely, he never had validation on his dream before and it meant more than what the other male knew.

“If you ever wish or desire to go down that path I’m more than happy to support you in your dream,” Sehyoon offered full in knowing that the other male wasn’t asking him for such a thing, he loved watching other’s passions come to life and Junhee easily would have been the type to work hard. He left the offer there and it would always be welcome for the man to take it, the gentle nudge against his shoulder made him smile unintentionally, something about this man made him just want to smile.

“I’ve tried lessons before but maybe not from a master chef like you,” he chuckled and all he could do was grin he couldn’t help but capitalise on the teasing. “Jun, if you wanted me back at your place so badly all you had to do was ask,” he gave a teasing wink he loved the pink on his cheeks, Sehyoon continued to smile looking around the room only for his eyes to eventually come back to Junhee.

@Kwon Hyunbin ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ being wanted is something that yanjun yearned for. behind his stoic expression is him jumping for joy- he badly wanted to hug the other and tell him that he's just so thankful but being adopted could also mean being left alone. yeah, he probably shouldn't even think about being happy for once. to see someone who willingly wants to take him in surely warms his heart though. it's impossible not to when the man is just shining as he speaks about how yanjun would have a fun time with him.

slowly, the facade he had been keeping melts away. a smile unconsciously makes its way on his face, interested about the other two cats that lived in the man's house. his tail moves excitedly with each word he hears, it would be nice to have friends. he would really like it if he did. yet, he doesn't reply as much as the other spoke. what goes next was a few more steps forward and he finds himself right in front of the other.

"i see," was all he says, nodding twice before leaning forward- closer to examine the man's face. a moment later pulling away when he's sure the man is serious. "i don't know how the shop works..." yanjun quietly says, but he grabs on the man's sleeve, lightly tugging it.

"i'm yanjun." he introduces himself, "i-i-" unable to find words to say, he stutters. yanjun has questions- too many that he isn't sure how he's going to say it and where he's going to start. "i'm afraid of people leaving me alone, you see. i- i don't want to annoy you because i'm being too clingy. i appreciate that but i don't want to give you a hard time dealing with me."

it's better to just tell the truth than keep it a secret.

@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ "It's admirable." Junhee agreed with a single, short nod of his head. He saw the look that lit the male's face from the inside out, his soft smile adding another dimension to his already handsome features. He really couldn't think of any more that he could say without gushing - needlessly, apparently - over the elder, so he capped that part of their conversation with a brief touch to the arm of the other, his head tilting the opposite way. "I'd say your wish is well on it's way to becoming a reality. You seem like an amazing person, and you've done so much without seeking praise. Not everyone can say that."

Junhee let out a soft laugh, his hand retreating back to his waist. He'd thought about it but... "Ah, but really - I don't think I'd like working unless it was for myself, and that takes start-up capital and time that I just don't want to waste." He was honest, but hardly seeking attention for his potential business plan. He was comfortable where he was, and how his life was playing out already. "I have enough time to spend here, and still be comfortable. That's more important to me. Kind of like you, I enjoy helping out however I can." Jun leaned in, nudging his shoulder to Yoon's, solidifying a sense of duty to this place that they both shared. "I can give you lessons, too... If you'd be interested? If not, I don't mind having you over to my place for dinner." Agreeing to the idea before he could really think it through, Junhee caught the possible implications of his words after they fell, flushing up a little bit at how intimate it sounded. He wasn't usually this forward; however, he also wasn't going to take the words back.

@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ "You are mostly right, they think its hard for someone like me to be able to carry myself," Sehyoon was sure that he was older, just but it was just a feeling that sat in his gut, he chuckled wondering what it was that Junhee was thinking about, there were many interesting things about their conversation he looked over to Jun once more when he heard the statement it giving him a slight smile to his face, he tried to hide it but it was one of those smiles that just lightened up his face.
"I would prefer to be remembered by the help I give over the things that I achieve in my company," he spoke quite seriously about this topic, he didn't want to be remembered by the fact that he made millions on selling certain products or owning a fancy building.

"hm, I can see what you mean about it, but if its something you love more than life itself it would make it easier to work through those stressful times, but I do understand, it isn't as enjoyable with more stress than what is really needed, for example a new recipe." He smiled and wouldn't press things much just how he showed his thinking "Though I might request your services to cook for me more often if that's allowed, I really really don't have any talent cooking"

@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ "Oh, those people must be insecure, then. I think it's admirable that you're comfortable at such a young age." Jun wasn't exactly sure what age that was, but by Sehyoon's looks and the way he carried himself, they were close enough in age that it didn't matter. He was already proud of Yoon, and he barely even knew him.
Listening to the tale of Hongseok being a secondary owner wasn't surprising, as Junhee knew that this was a handed-down business, but to hear that the other male had been around longer than Hongseok - That was quite interesting to him. And for Yoon to be a mentor, that was also quite interesting to him. It only made his piqued curiosity grow even more. "You're really something else, you know?" The blue-haired male smiled wide, his arms still holding his own waist as his head cocked to the side. He was prepared for the question; it was one that he'd heard before. "I don't want cooking to become another stressor for me. I do it to relax, and to nourish. Making money off of it, I think, would make it less pleasurable. Does that sound naive to you?" The younger of the two was genuinely curious, his warm brown eyes lingering on Yoon's features.

@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ “I have worked very hard, probably why I don’t have many friends, people sometimes find me intimidating because I’m young,” he was expecting more questions about the things he said in the middle, the one that surprised him was more on his link and connection of this place, hearing hongseok’s name almost made him visibly tire. The younger male had a lot to learn.
“Ah no, I knew the previous owner, I back businesses and good causes quite often, this is the one that has my heart closest I don’t know why,” he gave a smile it was one of those warming smiles that was both warm and nostalgic. “I’ve been here more often because of the fact that I have been helping mentor Hongseok,” he explained running a hand through his own hair, an odd thought crossing his mind to what Junhee’s hair would feel like, being the blue it was would it be dry or would it also nice and soft regardless of the colour. “If cooking is a passion of yours why not make it your job?” It was a curious question for him seeing as it was clear Junhee was very good at that, it was a skill Yoon definitely lacked.

@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ Brows bounced upwards as Junhee listened, taking in the interesting way Sehyoon chose to talk about himself. He mentioned work and donations like they were nothing to him, and chose to lead with a personal fact that meant far less than those two things. Sandwiching his obvious wealth in between more personal facts meant that he didn't want them to be the focus. This probably wasn't a humble brag, but a better idea of what Sehyoon held valuable. Interesting. "Wow, you sound quite accomplished, I must say." Jun laughed as the other concluded his thoughts, humming softly thereafter. What would be a good thing to ask?

"Tell me... How did you get started helping out around here? Are you a friend of Hongseok's?" Here, the words were genuine, the thought interesting and building on the mentioned history of helping. It seemed like it would be a worthwhile question - Plus it gave Junhee a timeline. Sure, he had only been coming around for a few months to see the hybrids and help take care of them, but he'd still never *seen* Yoon before. He wanted to know why, in all reality, but that sounded far more forceful to ask than the way he'd posed this question.

@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ He noted that maybe Junhee liked playing with his own hair, it could be something he found comforting or maybe even something that was more habitual. He chuckled at the the other male’s words, Sehyoon wasn’t going to admit he was ignoring his phone or that he needed to be else where quite some time ago because he was captivatingly interested in getting to know the blue haired male better.

“Possibly I should, but I hold a policy of if one wants to talk to me they will come, unnecessary small talk can be tedious when I do it on my day to day job,” he chuckled only to then also run his fingers through his hair, “well where do I start?” He pondered about what things could be interesting only to smile “I like the colour green, I own my own company, I help the owner here with funding for the hybrids, I like to help people, what else would you like to know Jun?” He was more of a private person but he was wanting to try his best to make more meaningful conversation with junhee.

@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ The hand that ran through his hair moved to shake out the strands, letting them fall back into the style Jun had been wearing before he pushed it all back, then fell to his side; resting that hand atop his hip. His smile stayed, maybe growing a shade brighter under the attention from the male who - like most around here - was devastatingly handsome, and seemed quite important in his own right. Junhee sometimes felt more like one of the hybrids than the humans, and Sehyoon certainly made him feel that way too. For once, though, he really didn't mind.

"I'm glad to hear you have a little more time to spend with us, but... Shouldn't you be getting to know one of the hybrids, instead of little-ol-me?" He chuckled, arms wrapping around his own waist as he took in a deep breath; his lips. "Well... I'm a graphic designer, which means I don't do much in the way of office work. It's mostly commission based, so I have loads of free time. That's why I spend so much of it cooking, and coming here to see the hybrids. I like feeling useful to someone, you know?" Jun shrugged, turning a wolfie grin to Yoon. "Your turn, Mister Yoon. Tell me something about you."

@Lin Yanjun ᵇᵒᵐᵇᵃʸ ᶜᵃᵗ The small reactions to his own words did not go unnoticed from Hyunbin. It was clear that something was trying to hold the other back from giving in to his words. Which, to Hyunbin, he could understand a little bit. Seeing the same man that saw him in the rain and just leave would have made Hyunbin feel a little off as well. But if he wasn't in a relationship or in a relationship with something that is completely understandable it would have been different.

Hyunbin nodded his head to the one word, "i want to adopt you. No question or even doubts about it. Besides, I think you'll enjoy yourself!" He says happily. His thoughts would think about his two kittens at home and how his house was big enough to have at least five guest, maybe more if he moved things around. He could also take the other on trips, because there was no way he would leave him at home not really knowing what to do.

Hyunbin was not going to make the first move, only because the other seemed scared. But seeing this beautiful hybrid take a step forward towards him made him happy. It was a small start, but he rather it be small than nothing."I have two kittens that I think you'll get along with. Obviously I will treat you more as a human than a cat, but I just figured the cats and you would like to also get to know each other. Both are nice, one can be a little fireball but she's a sweetheart. Um, I have a lot of space in my house as well in case you need it to get used to being with me... you can have your own room as well if you want, if not then my room is fine as well. I have a big enough bed. I mean... whatever you may need, I will either have it or will get it for you. I want you to be comfortable as fast as possible." He explains in hope that the other actually believed his words and what he was definitely willing to do for him.

@Kwon Hyunbin ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ confused. that's all yanjun is the following moment. he was unsure if this man was joking or serious at all, yanjun had long forgotten how to differentiate geniuine sincerity from not being sincere. this man? adopt him? sure, there is this bubble of enjoyment that rises up his chest but yanjun just cannot easily trust the man.

"me?" he asks, pointing to himself. the cat hybrid's ears perk up at that statement. yanjun wants to take a step forward, wanting to come near him but he retreats midway, his thankful expression wiped off after the thought of possibly being left alone again. the only thing he could do in response to his question was nod.

very clearly. each little detail of that night is still fresh in his memory. time heals wounds but a few months wouldn't be enough to forget everything just yet.

'you couldn't let yourself be swayed by his words', his head tells him. but yanjun is honestly too easy. his resolve to never believe in what people said immediately just starts cracking with one smile. his huge round eyes look up at the other, just a bit taller than he is. somehow wanting assurance more than anything else. "really?" he asks.

a small step forward.

@Lin Yanjun ᵇᵒᵐᵇᵃʸ ᶜᵃᵗ The sight before him was... interesting. He seemed stressed at the sight of Hyunbin, but Hyunbin wasn't quite sure if he was or not. All Hyunbin knew was that this was the hybrid abandoned in the rain that night and that same night he wanted to take him in. If he wasn't in a relationship at the time, things would have been different. Hyunbin himself took a step back in case the other needed even more space and his smile faded slightly. The other looked scared at this point.

Hyunbin shook his head and took a quick look around. "Um, I dont need anyone... well, maybe I do for when I want to adopt, which I plan on doing now that I found you." Hyunbin was not much of a hinter, when he wants something he makes it clear to anyone that is listening. "Do you... remember me? Because i remember you..." he spoke softly watching the others ears go down and saw his tail moving around as well. "You know... i was going to take you in that night... however my girlfriend at the time refused and ordered me to get back in the car. Ironically I broke up with her a few days ago at the time and even went back to that alley to find you, but you were gone... yet, here you are now... a blessing." He continued to speak softly, his lips curving into a small smile.

@Kwon Hyunbin ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ panic is the first thing that ran in yanjun's head like a siren screaming over and over again. he takes a step backward, wanting to run away. yanjun observes, waiting for the other to make a move himself and hopefully leave if he doesn't move. but things don't work that way- he already knows that.

awkwardness fill the air those few minutes he moved. "why is he here..." yanjun wonders to himself. his voice was soft, but it wasn't exactly inaudible for the other to not hear him. he knew it's rude to ask something like that, but he just couldn't help but wonder. he's under the impression that he's not that the other disliked people like him- hybrids.

it doesn't seem like the man had forgotten all about that night. in fact, he seems to have clearly remembered him. there's this smile on his face and yanjun isn't quite sure why he was smiling. a part of him wonders if he just had the wrong impression of him, but there's this thought that makes him feel even more upset. does that mean he dislikes him instead?

his perked ears slowly moves flat against his head at the thought, tail cautiously moving back and forth. now he's upset for something that probably doesn't matter to the other. "is there anything you need? i- i'll find someone to help you-" he stutters, shuffling his feet and looking around, searching for someone who could help the man instead. he'd like to think that he's quite new anyway and that he just would never have an owner.

for the millionth time he repeats to himself that he would be abandoned anyway when they've already gained his trust.

@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ He wasn't the type of person to be in the middle of the room, if people wanted to approach him and make conversation than he would. Sehyoon checked the time once more, it had been some time since he had seen the blue haired male but before he knew it he saw him once more preparing for food and giving one of the largest smiles he had seen in the long time. The food smelt good from where he was.

"Good news, I do not have to leave any time soon, but it wont be super long," Yoon smiled towards the male that seemed a little puffed out, his gaze went over how Junhee's hand slipped through his hair, something deep inside him made him want to run his finger through it to see if the dyed hair was soft, because it definitely seemed that way.

"I will make sure to try your food that you put your heart into," Yoon stated, he couldn't get over the way the other held himself. He was interested in hobbies and finding out about said man even if his phone in his pocket continued to ring. "Tell me a bit about yourself?"

@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ Jun returned to the kitchen to begin setting up the dishes for service. He didn't really plan on anything fancy, just a plain old buffet set up where he could let everyone serve themselves with whatever they liked; separating out the dishes into two kinds - carnivores and herbivores. Of course, there was plenty of overlap between the two, for the omnivores, and tons of fresh cut fruits and vegetables as hors d'oeuvres for all involved, but Junhee was sure to be careful of cross-contaminating the vegetarian dishes that some preferred with the meaty ones that the other hybrids were sure to enjoy.

After the trays were set up appropriately far away, and the boxes of cupcakes and fresh fruit and veg were set up in the middle as a sort of barrier, and dessert bar, he flitted around the kitchen with a plate to get the best of each dish for Sehyoon. He wasn't sure what the male would like, but he gave him his favorites, trying not to make said plate too heavy for the man. There was steak and roasted veg, macaroni and cheese, kimchi fried rice, his mother's recipe for yakitori, and homemade pickled radish. More and more was added as Junhee thought about it, and the plate was heavier than anticipated by the time he was done. He snagged one of the more beautiful cupcakes, with perfect swirls of frosting and sprinkles as well, placing that in it's own container, so that it would be fresh when Yoon had time to eat it - and hopefully un-smushed. With that, he made his way into the living room once more, spotting the hard-working man on the edge of the crowd. "Yoon! Just the man I wanted to see. I have your plate ready, whenever you need to leave." He breathed out on a bright smile, running a hand through his shock of blue hair.

@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ “I’ve finished most of my work just a few things need to be done before tomorrow,” he never stated what he did for work, he was kind of quiet because of the fact that he didn’t like openly confessing he ran a company. People more often than not only thought two things Money because of what he did and intimidation as he wasn’t exactly an older male. “I did plan to come here to wish happy birthday, I just happened to bump into you first,”

Sehyoon nodded in response entering into the living room, he was and wasn’t relaxed as he walked in looking around only to find the birthday boy and wish him a happy birthday. He had some small talk only that his eyes kept wandering to try and find Junhee. He cleared his throat waiting only to ask to be politely excused from the conversation to check his phone. He looked over the text message and sighed, duty called but he was going to pretend he didn’t see it as he wanted more time with the male passionate about food.

@Lin Yanjun ᵇᵒᵐᵇᵃʸ ᶜᵃᵗ Freedom. Hyunbin had no idea that such a small word would be such a big deal to him. His ex girlfriend was something else and even went over the line. Hyunbin really could not believe that not only was she sneaking with other guys behind his back, but also trying to make him sell his own cats. He understood that she was a dog person, but she was also the one who agreed to getting two cats and it took a lot of begging from Hyunbin. Now, Hyunbin was all for strong personality females, yet this one was simply a bad nut. She never cared about the two kittens he bought, yet she tried her damn best to take them with her. Luckily Hyunbin put his foot down and said no, something that seemed to be extremely rare to the people that know him personally. His own ex was surprised, but Hyunbin had to do what he had to do. So, at the end of that rollercoaster he broke up with her and kicked her out. Now that she was gone, Hyunbin can find another cat. The two sisters just wasn't enough, he needed another one... a male in fact.

This place has always caught Hyunbin's eye. Ever since it had opened he wondered every day what was it like in this place and always thought i going to check it out. Yet, he could never do so considering his ex prevented him from doing so. Now that he is free, he plans to check this place out and maybe adopt another cat. The thought of a strange place made him think back to when he saw this man with cat ears and tail. He was in the rain and looked all alone, he looked sad. Seeing such a view, Hyunbin got out of his car to only have his ex following right behind him and seeing what he was looking at. At the time he definitely wanted another cat and his ex refused to take in someone that could possibly kill them. To which Hyunbin didn't care. A cat was a cat, they could have figured something out.

Now that Hyunbin was here and practically ready to buy on the spot, he felt more happy with himself. Yet the memory of the person in an alley was still latched onto his memory. Maybe he will get to see this person, if not then it isn't the end of the world... sort of. Hyunbin made his way inside this new place and looked around for an owner or simply someone.

After a few minutes of looking around he saw cat ears and a tail, black ones in fact. One look towards Hyunbin and he knew exactly who this person was, the man from the alley. Hyunbin couldn't help but smile slightly, the inside he was celebrating at the fact that he bumped into the same cat he tried to take in. This one boy was on his mind for the longest time and it bothered him knowing that /anything/ could happen to this cat, yet here he was.

It didn't register that the other was apologizing and Hyunbin made his way closer. "Hey there..." Hyunbin had no idea what to say other than those words. He was feeling awkward suddenly and not because he found this hybrid cat, but because he is seeing him for the second time. After leaving him in the rain because of his ex.

@Kwon Hyunbin ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ admittedly, this place is both a blessing and a curse to yanjun. a blessing because he finally finds himself with a roof over his head and a really good environment that provides him with all the things he needed and a curse because there's just so many people around. he didn't know how to approach them or if he should even be approaching them when he knew that one day, these other hybrids would be leaving with smiles on their lips, a companion holding their hand. getting attached is something he couldn't do.

even if he continuously convinces himself that he's getting better- that he's slowly opening up and becoming brighter than he was when he first gotten into this place, he knew that somehow, he's unsure of it. his fears would always eat him up before he gets comfortable.

a monster, that's what his previous owner had called him just because he couldn't wait, because he expects too much. it's only a matter of time that he'd be picked up only to be thrown away again or be returned like he were a defective product. the scene is still fresh in his mind. no matter how he tries to forget about it, it just seems to come back and haunt him at least once after completely forgetting about it.

only when he hears a noise did he snap out of his thoughts.

wrong place.

he's too occupied again that he forgot where he was supposed to be going.

"library, library, library" yanjun repeats the words over and over again to himself in a mumble, afraid that he'd think about something else and forget. he lifts his head up and a familiar face greets him, almost exactly the same as how he looked like that rainy night in the alley.

what is he doing here? didn't he...?

"it's him." he mumbles to himself. quickly, he mumbles some sort of apology, looking down and turning back.

how did he find him?

@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ "A little while is better than nothing. You can say 'happy birthday' to our chipmunk and have a quick bite to eat." He could already tell Yoon must have been important, or just very honor-bound to his job duties by the way he spoke, something that made Jun more interested in the male before him. Most people didn't act that way, and he liked it. His feelings of duty showed a lot about him as a person, and his character.

"I'll make you a plate so you don't have to wait for everyone else, if you'd like to step in the living room and greet the birthday boy." Jun smiled, reaching out a hand to brush the other's arm lightly as he walked past and back into the kitchen. "Just come see me when you're done. You know where I'll be."

@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ "I believe in helping people without being asked to, I don't like watching people struggle." He admitted as he nodded in thanks at the bottle of water he cracked open the bottle and took a large sip from it making a soft 'ah' sound after having consumed some of it. He nodded slightly listening to how the other explained he was in design, he didn't mind designers, if anything they could do things he could dream of having the skills for.

Yoon was a business man and he smiled as a nod came from him, he would have normally said no as he did honestly have a lot of work to do but for some reason he could not find himself to say no to Junhee."I can stay for a little whiile but I will have work I need to finish before anything is finalized," he explained but he wasn't really intterested in work he was quite interested in getting to know the man.

@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ "Yoon... Okay, well, thank you again. It's nice to have a little help." Jun moved to the refrigerator, grabbing a couple bottles of water and following the other male to the sitting room just off the edge of the kitchen. He handed Yoon a bottle and cracked his own, taking a deep drink. "I like to cook, and luckily my profession is flexible enough that I have the time to do so. I work in design." He added on his profession to make it clear, he was far from a chef. This was just a labor of love.

A light flush rose up his cheeks and ears, though, still very flattered by the compliment. It wasn't something that he was used to getting - or at least not from another human. His sweet little pets - of course, he thought of all the hybrids here as extensions of his own family - all gave him praises when he brought treats. The humans that ate his treats seemed to be dismissive, though. Maybe they hadn't known it was homemade? It didn't matter; it wasn't worth feeling self-conscious over. "Will you be celebrating with us? I'd love to have an honest opinion on my cooking skills." Jun hummed, screwing the lid back onto his bottle and setting it on the table.

@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ He saw that the other was surprised when he offered help, it was in his nature to offer if he had nothing better to do. He had finished his work for the day and so he wanted to offer the clearly busy male, hearing him introduce himself he turned to Junhee properly and gave his head a slight bow.

“I’m Kim Sehyoon, you can call me Yoon if you would like,” he replied in response to the introduction being very formal and polite with his greeting, he followed the male into the kitchen placing down the food trays carefully looking over the food choices and then to the man who sighed. He gave a good look and once more smiled. “Just a bottle of water is fine please,” he took mental notes of the day in his brain making sure he would wish the guest of honour a happy birthday before continuing to go into a room where it was more quiet, he wasn’t someone who was overly great with communication which made him a little awkward “you are very kind to prepare this birthday party, it looks like most of it you made yourself, consider me impressed.

@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ The offer for help was not what Jun had expected, and his face broke open wide, revealing all of his teeth as he smiled at the male that took his dishes right out of his arms. He made the action look effortless, whereas Jun was already feeling the burn from carting around the food that had made it inside. Snapping himself out of his temporary daze, Jun grabbed another set of trays - the last of the food, finally - and shut the hatch on the SUV.

"I'm Park Junhee, but you can just call me Jun. We're celebrating a birthday today, so you've chosen a wonderful day to come visit." Jun's smile faltered as he made his way in front of the other man, leading him into the kitchen so they could set down the food among the rest of the boxed he'd brought. Setting the food on the counter, he heaved a sigh and looked at all the food he'd brought. "I hope you're hungry." He laughed, before adding, "Oh! Do you want me to get you a drink? It's the least I can do to say thank you for the help."

@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ Sehyoon had meeting after meeting after meeting, it had been one of those days, he had just finished a phone call as he saw an attractive man rushing around with food. He was intrigued but the calm expression on his face gave nothing away. “Did you want help?” Was all the business man asked the man carting around a food tray, he came to help this place as it was somewhere he felt comfortable a lot of the time, no one really knew who he was and so he could wind down.

Yoon effortlessly took the stack of food trays from the slightly younger male waiting to be led inside, he had a slight smile on his face but it was clear he definitely did want to be there. “My name is Sehyoon? What is yours?” He was curious he gave another smile but still not a full one.

@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ Junhee's arrival at the house was expected, but rushed. He'd spent the previous night up, cooking for a special day - it was one of the hybrid's birthday parties, and rather than letting Hongseok do all the work, Junhee insisted that he help out. Now his SUV was full to the brim with boxes of cupcakes, trays of food, and all the service ware one could possibly need, right from his own kitchen - and a quick trip to the store for disposable pans. He was moving it into the house slowly but surely, working from the cold items that he didn't want melting any more than they had towards the hot food, which would only need to be kept warm until the event started. He almost startled on his third trip when he noticed a new face appearing from the parking area, the male's stunning features enough to make him stare for a moment. "I'm sorry. I'm not in your way, am I? I can move my car in just a few moments - I'm just, well..." Junhee shrugged, smiling and holding up a stack of silver trays full of food. "Gotta get this inside first."
