@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ Junhee's nervous exterior only grew moreso when Yoon offered him the bag in his hands. He had gotten a gift? That really wasn't expected in the slightest. The younger male's lips twisted slightly, pursing in his surprise before carefully taking the gift bag and opening it; finding a beautifully carved and honed blade that ironically matched his blouse for the evening. He couldn't help but gasp when he saw the intricacy of the knife, and nearly laughed for the fact of it matching him so well. "You already seem to know what suits me best, Sehyoon. I can't tell if I should be flattered you pay such close attention or ashamed of being so easy to read." Junhee couldn't help but tease, removing the knife from his lap so that he could lean in, placing a gentle kiss to the male's cheek as a thank-you for the gift that must have cost a pretty penny. That knife would now be the centerpiece of his kitchen. despite it being nearly too pretty to use.
With the blade placed alongside his tray of appetizers, Junhee sat back on the couch, comforted by the touch on his leg. It was far more intimate than he'd imagined at the start of this night, when he was worried about even hugging Sehyoon, but he could tell now that the night would end with a hug and a kiss to the cheek at the very least. It was encouraging that they got on so well, and that things could be so comfortable, so quickly. "I have to admit, I don't like the idea of you getting your phone taken away. Maybe I should stop bothering you during work hours. I guess keeping you up all night will be my new hobby." Junhee laughed along with the other male, selecting one of the canapes from his tray of two-bite treats, and humming softly as he ate the morsel. He amazed even himself sometimes.
"You should see the dinner table." The blue-haired man tilted his head to the full-on restaurant style set up he'd created for them out of his modest little dining area, his shoulders straightening up with pride. "If you like, we could retire there sooner, rather than later?" He offered, wanting to make sure that he wasn't keeping Sehyoon if he was hungry - not like they were waiting on anything to finish cooking before they could sit down to the meal. He just wanted to be sure that there was enough wind-down time in between Sehyoon walking through the door and him being bombarded by food. Junhee certainly didn't like being swept around as such, so he made sure to give his guest a little bit more control over the course of their night. Besides, a date had to be a two-way street, catering to both men, rather than one over the other.
@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ Yoon could tell Junhee was nervous the minute he saw him, he had an eye for it but he too was also nervous, he gave a warm smile as he walked in the gift bag in his hands still, He watched how Junhee fluttered around, he looked to the appetizers and instantly went to trying the food, the other male always made amazing food, if he could always eat food as decadent as this he would live happy. Sehyoon looked around the modest apartment seeing that there was things that were very Junhee throughout the whole apartment, once Junhee had come to the room he walked over and boldly kissed the man on the cheek finally speaking since he came into the apartment, "Good evening Junhee, I bought you something," He stood back and slowly he gave the gift bag that he held hoping that he didn't over step.
"Work has been long these days," He said that seriously but the grin that came over his face when he heard the laugh knowing full well the other male was joking, "Oh, I was naughty I got my phone taken off me," He laughed in response, it was true but he didn't want the other to feel bad on choices that he made, it was something that he made the choice for, he took a sip of the wine, it was a good choice in flavour, it was well thought of and he really couldn't help but enjoy the selective choice Junhee had made.
Yoon decided to sit near Junhee, he kind of wanted to enjoy the closeness, he liked the flirty and exciting texts but he wanted to see and hear the man laugh and talk about his passions, he was a simple man, he didn't need over the top things, he just simply wished for happiness and someone he could connect with and so far it was something that he had with the other male he allowed his hand to rest against the male's leg, with people he was extremely comfortable with he liked small amounts of skin ship but of course if the man didn't want to be touched he'd stop straight away. "Everything smells amazing as normal," Yoon complimented the smile on his face never really going anywhere when it came down to it, he was very obviously happy to be in Junhee's company.
@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ At the knocking on his apartment's door, Junhee jumped a little bit, not having expected Sehyoon to be so prompt. His heart nearly thudded out of his chest as he crossed to the threshold, pulling open his door for Yoon to enter, the small space warm and scented of the hearty meal that Jun had prepared. "Hey, good evening..." He smiled, feeling his heart thrumming against his ribs as he held the door open. Would it be too much to hug? Or too formal to offer a handshake? Should he not do anything?
The moment passed rather quickly, and Jun stayed pressed to the door until he could close it. "Ah, please, make yourself comfy. Would you like something to drink - Wine, cocktail, water?" Jun - as always - was the perfect host to his guests, bringing over the tray of appetizers he'd made and setting them down on the coffee table in the living room for easy access. He wanted for this to go well, already anticipating the turns that their relationship might take if this all went well. It might have been a silly thing to indulge in, but the little daydream was a nice followup to the flirtatious texts they'd shared.
It helped his mind to stay focused to grab the bottle of wine and two glasses, setting those down next and sitting so he could pop the cork out of the bottle a little easier, holding the bottle between his knees. It was all he could do with how his hands were shaking. Using the corkscrew very carefully, Junhee set aside the cork and poured their drinks first and foremost. "How was work? I haven't been keeping you too busy from your responsibilities." He laughed, swirling the crimson liquid around the bowl of his wine glass before taking a delicate sip, more to calm himself with the act than the actual drink he took. Hopefully Sehyoon caught the joke, and didn't think that he was being serious. In fact, being a distraction was the last thing that he wanted to be.
@Park Junhee ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ Yoon couldn’t help himself, with each text came joy, excitement, every time he saw the name of the male who’d captured his attention in more ways than one, his face would light up. Other’s around him while he was working found it odd, Yoon hadn’t ever been one to show as much emotion as he did when he was much too eager to reply each time even if he shouldn’t. There were times even as the CEO his phone was taken off him because he felt his conversation with Junhee was more important. The question had been asked if he wanted dinner over the weekend and he didn’t hesitate but to say yes, it even lined up perfectly to the fact that he didn’t have to work another rare thing in his scheduling.
Yoon wanted to get Junhee something, knowing the male’s passion for cooking, there was no need for him to bring wine or something bought for a dessert, instead he wished to gift the male something for the hard work he knew would go into the evening that they had planned, Yoon always wanted to ask if it was a date but every time he asked the question he couldn’t send it, he was almost jittery, his heart beat fast thinking about it. He decided in finding him a nice knife for his kitchen, something thin and sharp but so very beautiful, he almost spent the day looking for the perfect knife and he found it, he bought it, it was intricate and delicate, it had rose designs on the blade near the handle and was fully black besides the design which was a rose gold. He was happy with his find he checked the time and almost cursed. He did plan to dress nicer but if he went home now he would be late.
He wore a red and black striped Button up shirt, a nice fitting pair of jeans, wide frame glasses and a choker, usually shopping he dressed more casual, he planned to wear something elegant but y but because he took so long he decided that it was too late for that.
Sehyoon left and made no waste of time, he was a man who needed to be punctual and not a minute later than when he was expected to be there he knocked on the door with three loud knocks, he was more nervous because he was wearing very casual attire, something he hadn’t wished for Junhee to see him in yet but in the end he knew all things happened for a reason. He felt good about tonight and there was something deep in his chest that made him want to impress Junhee and show more about himself even if he was private. If it went well tonight he would ask the man on a second date as he would definitely count this as the first.
@Kim Sehyoon ʰᵘᵐᵃⁿ A few texts later, Junhee found himself smiling at his phone, enjoying the conversation with Sehyoon. It was nice. *He* was nice. That made it even easier to pose the question, via one more message: "Would you like to have dinner this weekend?" Once the conversation shifted in that direction, Junhee began to make plans, excited for the affirmative response he gained. It would be a treat to have someone join him at his humble apartment for a good dinner and perhaps some wine, a chance to get to know his new friend better - better than idle messaging in between Yoon's work schedule. Though they continued to message over the next few days, the blue-haired male found himself growing anxious in the best way possible - the culmination of their many, many little tidbits of shared information finally arriving in the form of what you could loosely call a date.
Junhee took the whole day to prepare the meal, lovingly basting a roast, baking his own bread, and preparing the freshest vegetables from the morning market for his guest. He'd picked up a favorite bottle of red wine to compliment the red meat He'd be serving, and painstakingly crafting a menagerie of little appetizers for them to snack on throughout the evening. Then, there was dessert - Junhee's favorite thing to craft overall - A fresh fruit tart to match the fresh vegetables so carefully used. Everything was perfect as could be, crafted the same way he would cook for the hybrids, and filled with the passion of his craft. It made him very happy to know that he'd get to share time with someone that he'd come to think very highly of. As time drew nearer for their little meal together, Junhee finally abandoned the kitchen to clean up, dressing himself simply in light jeans and a patterned button up - black with red roses - as well as popping in his contacts so that he wouldn't startle the elder too much with the change in appearance from what he saw in the mansion.
'Nervous' was never really a default setting for the male, but something about this little dinner did make him nervous in a pleasant way, eager to get to know Sehyoon in a much deeper sense; something beyond the few texts and small flirtations that they'd shared up until this point. Preparing his small table - just big enough for two - in the last minutes before the elder was supposed to show up, Junhee put that nervous energy to use, perfecting the last bits of what he needed to casually impress the other male. It was a good use of said energy, and filled his last solitary moments with a flurry of busy work to keep him from waiting like an eager puppy at the door for the ring of his guest.
