Call each other with the following format: 

[calling: name] 
[ringing...]

And

[call from: Name]

[ringing...]
*picks up*

Hello?

or 

[Call from: Name]
[ringing...]
[missed call from: Name]

Once you've picked up the phone, you are allowed to roleplay as usual. Actions are allowed in this room, just remind yourself that if you're calling somebody, you're probably not in the same physical room as them. An example of actions would be: 

[Calling: Name]
[ringing...]
*panics and hangs up, taking deep breaths before dialing again*
[calling: Name]
[Ringing...] 

Or 

"and I don't know," she expressed with a sigh in her breath as she rolled over in her silk sheets, her phone pressed against her ear, and continued her statement with a grumble, "I just don't think he's the one for me."
