Seoul Broadcasting Station

@Chanyeol For Shotaro, this experience was quite... exhilarating? Was that the word for what he felt? First, it was exciting and took the air out of his lungs, but then it left the burning worry that he - the eboy who somehow managed to join a very successful and big name group - would do something to it all up. He had to remember a lot of things. No cursing. y dances were to be kept to a minimum. Replying in Korean, unless Japanese was asked for or needed. It helped that there were going to be others from the group, but his security blankets were put on other teams. He had a good idea of where they would be, but it wasn't by his side to help him out or correct him.
Instead, he'd be paired with a label mate, albeit a sunbaenim of his: a member of EXO. They were trying to do something with the 'two largest groups to take Korea by storm' or... something. Taro was so nervous he'd honestly forgotten most of what was written the paperwork his manager had given him earlier that morning; not like it explicitly listed the pairings, but it at least gave him an idea of who it might be. His fingers were crossed for Jongin or Minseok since they seemed the two most likely to share something in common with him (dancing), but aside from that, he was actually really worried.
He was new to the label, new to NCT, and definitely new to Korean variety shows. Mostly, Taro just hoped he understood the instructions... Everything after that would be easy as long as he knew what was going on around him. As he sat in the makeup chair where they were pretty much just powdering away the sheen of oil across his nose, he fiddled with his phone, messaging Yuta from across the room with his concerns until they were ushered outside to the location for filming.
Here, Shotaro made several bows to the members of staff, of the cast, and to the members of EXO that they would be filming with. The director explained (quite kindly and slowly) how things would go, and Shotaro nodded, smiling up at the member that was to go out before him - Chanyeol sunbaenim. At least he had a nice smile? That made him seem nice. Shotaro followed him much the way a small puppy would chase after its owner, his blue and violet colorblocked sweater distinguishing him from the others to his teammate - as if the Japanese boy all but clinging to Chanyeol's shirt-tails wouldn't be hint enough that they were working together.
