Campfire (IC Chat)

@Momoko ⁱⁿᵗᵉʳᵈⁱᵐᵉⁿˢⁱᵒⁿᵃˡ Wen Fan saw the monster approach and backed up quickly. Two steps back, he stopped and grit his teeth. His heart raced as the monster approached, blue flames at his fingertips in case he had to defend himself. Wen Fan was wearing his full outfit, the red orange merging with the colour of the campfire. Now, he stood half cowering behind it while pretending that he was not cowering. "Stop!", he called out, more fear in his voice than he was comfortable expressing. But this... thing was huge. The omega with vanilla scent stared up from his 5'4 at her 7' with poisonous hostility.

Looking through the lake had proved fruitless and Momoko had been unable to find any of her possessions. No utility belts, no ejector seat, and no comma devices. Confusion was still running through her mind as she gave up, heading towards the small campfire to see if there was anyone nearby that had started it that might be able to explain where they were or some details about the strange planet.

Two days had passed, well, three. Three ing days and still no sight of anyone. Wen Fan had stayed close to the campfire at first, before wandering up and down the shore feeling dumb. Was he missing something? What kind of joke was this? How was there no sign of anyone? At the very least, he'd expected to find tracks of whoever had dumped him into the lake. After a few more hours annoyance and anger turned into nerves. He looked into the forest, but he couldn't even smell anyone. Just some small animals. Ah... he was hungry. Really hungry. This was day two. Wen Fan even ventured into the forest, but quickly retreated after getting his precious robes tangled up in a bush and almost ripping them. It took another day for the hunger to overwhelm. Wen Fan checked once more if there was anyone around, there wasn't, and then stripped off his clothes. He lay them all neatly in a pile, and that pile on a dusted off branch of a tree. From then it was easy. Transform into a wolf, catch a rabbit, roast it over the campfire, eat and bathe in the lake. Wen Fan was drifting at the surface, staring up at the starry night sky. The world was so... silent. "Maybe I should go explore a little further...", he muttered to himself and then sighed. Tomorrow. He'd sleep for now.

As Wen Fan stood in the shallows, water up to his waist, he made quite the pretty figure. Pale white skin shimmered along with the surface of the lake under the moonlight. He dipped down under the water, quickly re-emerging and sweeping his long black silk tresses back. Alas, no one was there to admire.

It had been hours since Wen Fan first pulled himself out of the lake. He'd wandered as far as his heavy clothes would let him (not far, he didn't want to get dirty), and found no one. Not even a trace of no one. Now he sat at the campfire, arms wrapped around himself, wary eyes scanning the horizon. He wasn't sure how to feel. He had so many unanswered questions. Was he in hell? Maybe... he was the only one here. Wen Fan shivered and inched closer to the campfire. His stomach rumbled. He was hungry. He wanted little honey treats and maybe some marinated beef. He was thirsty too. Most of all, he was scared. Deep down in his core, all of this felt wrong. Unless someone had teleported him, how was he here? Whom of the people he knew could teleport others? ...If he had known someone like that, he didn't remember them. Wen Fan looked towards the forest, then down at his nice clothes. "...." He really didn't want to go. Yes, he'd wait another day, see if someone else was here who could give him some food. For today he'd just sleep.
