@kim jongin "Yes," Seulgi confirms with firm, eager nods of her head. "I wish for a rocking chair that rocks. It's very important that it has the right rocking feel to it." They divert to the rocking chairs that are already pre-made and on display to one side of the shop. "Hmm," the young woman mulls, striding towards them. Without hesitation, she propels herself into the first one, cozying her tush into the far back of the seat and pushing off with her toes to begin the sway. "No, you're right," she mutters to herself, "this isn't the one."

"Sir, I'll try the next one," she announces, bouncing into the next seat. She does the same until the final chair, coming to the same conclusion each time. "I beg your dearest pardon, fine crafter, but these chairs are all terrible." It's a big betrayal, and she holds a hand to her chest when she steps over her parcels to get to the shop worker. "I will commission a chair. A custom one. And I'll make the cushion. You work the wood. Deal, sir?"

@kang seulgi Jongin observed the other, he definitely hasn't seen her around town before, especially in his shop. She also wasn't the typical character that came into his shop. Which was quite an interesting one. He gave a soft apology when he saw her jump lightly. Listening to the others request, a rocking char that rocks. Her last comment confused the builder, causing him to furrow his brows a bit before shaking aside.

"I understand, a big cozy rocking chair that rocks." He nodded confirming the other then stepped aside a bit. "We actually have a few rocking chairs pre-made if you would like to check them out." He motioned towards the back a little bit, where most of his work was. "However, they would need some finishing up, so if you choose one, it will still be a bit, but not long." He paused for a moment. "If none of those fit your preferences though, I can custom make one."

@kim jongin By the time the worker in the shop rounds up to the front to answer her call, Seulgi has already dropped all her dozens of packages in the middle of the walkway so she can squat and trace out shapes in the sawdusted floor. As deep in conversation as she was with her friends inside her head, the clearing of the man's throat went over her head. When his voice met her ears, she jumped, freezing on the spot until she remembers where she's at. "Oh."

A first giggle. Then a second. She approaches the counter, slamming palms down on the top with a brilliant grin. "I'd like to order a rocking chair. A big cozy one, with enough space to curl up in and read a good book. And it MUST -" she raises one finger to grab his attention. "It must rock. Do you understand? Of course he understands, but I have to ask!" The latter comment is directed over her shoulder, nothing there besides her purchases.

@kang seulgi As he finished cleaning up the area around his work station, Jongin thought it would be a good idea to collect more wood and bring it in for another project. If he wasn’t getting orders, he would always build other things to have on hand to sell as soon as someone would claim it. Upon brining the wood in Jongin heard someone calling out, a customer must have came in while he was distracted.

Jongin set the wood down, and walked up to the front area of the construction shop to see a woman spinning around and giggling. She seemed happy and like she was just enjoying the day. Jongin cleared his throat as he approached her, to give some sort of warning he was there before he spoke. “Hi, yes.” He greeted. “How can I help you?” Jongin tried to stifle back a small chuckle.

@kim jongin It was rare that Seulgi ever travelled into the city, but on that particular day, she had taken inventory of her little shack (herbs and fabrics) and realized that she was ridiculously low on a number of things. That, and she could probably due with some food to replenish the pantry... And while she was in the city, she of course was distracted by every little thing. Ever aloof as she was, Seulgi went in for one thing, and came out with ten. That day was no different, her arms overloaded with parcels of herbs, assorted fabrics and threads, food, knicknacks and books.

She'd been ready to call it a day, head home, away from the ruckus of the town center, but then she'd past the construction shop. She'd broken her favourite rocking chair but a half moon ago and was sorely due for a new one. It was much more fun reading a book while rocking, after all.

She needed to angle sideways to fit through the entrance with her packages, but she made it in with eyes squinted and nose scrunched against the sharp, overpowering scent of wood. Perhaps she could also ask for some saw dust to be added to her order... It was helpful for some of her herbalist practices.

"Hello?" she calls, not seeing anyone right off the bat. "Is anyone here?! Woohooooo~! I'd like to placeeeee an order!" she calls out in a lilting, sing-song voice, spinning around with a giggle to watch her toe carve out a pattern in the fine layer of saw dust collected on the floor.

The smell of freshly sanded wood filled the construction shop that morning as Jongin finished one of his orders. "I could have made that better myself." The old man sitting in the corner stated. Jongin shook his head, it was his master, Barret. He had always been complimenting Jongin's work. Even though the younger felt he still had plenty to improve on, his master was getting to the point of thinking there was nothing more he could teach him.

Jongin shook his head in disagreement. "I can see so many things that need work." Jongin said. They might not have been noticeable to someone who didn't know much about woodwork, but they stuck out like a sore thumb to the male. Just on time. the customer showed up to pick up the piece, and paid Jongin the price, before he helped him carry the piece out and onto a wagon tied to a couple of horses. Thanking the man for working with him, Jongin went back inside.

"It's only the start of the day, and I got all my backed up orders finished." Jongin said as he started cleaning up the shop a little bit, waiting for hopefully more customers coming in later.
