@❛ ☽﹕joshua h。 Her bear brown eyes were steady as they followed the chief while he sat near her, but respectfully far enough away where she didn’t feel crowded. She knew it was a conscious effort, which she appreciated with a simple nod of unspoken understanding.

She looked at the mostly empty hall, except for the few government officials that awaited more citizens to enter their chambers with complaints or questions, as scheduled. “That may be true, but I do not condone violence, even though it’s “play”. When they speak it should be taken as to mean something, not used as a gambling tool.” She looked back toward the chief, knowing full well he already knew her feelings on their council, which had become her council. “Here they can speak upon strategy. They give indicators, witch, human, and vampire alike. They keep a sequence one can read. Similar to yours?” Jennie was aware her leader could read her if he wished with his gifts, and that he could easily do what she currently was doing, if he had the time. The only difference was her voices could see beyond time itself, no longer bound to a singular world. There for they could signal the events to come, out-stretching to multiple of the living and dead to decipher who or what would seek vitality now. It also meant Jennie knew who had murdered who in the shadows, not that those marks mattered enough to start war or wake people from their ignorance.

Now this has sparked the chief's attention. He took a seat next to her with a bit of distance in due respect with her own title that she carried on the crown of her head. Bearing weight that he similarly felt every time people would watch him in social gatherings, unnecessary meetings and dance events always bore him to death. However, he would never take the desire to feel so and end things as easily for his own life.

"How much "life" does the building make than what I've been experiencing outside? I'm pretty sure the men and women from the fight club are more vocal and rambunctious than what I see here." Joshua placed an emphasis on the word life, unsure what the other sees in comparison of his own vision. He was mostly needed outside and besides the fight club, a couple of citizens were always bound to make trouble outside of it.

@❛ ☽﹕joshua h。 The current cheif always appeared younger than the day she met him- even though he was a near century older than her. She had been sure for the longest period of time that the devil would knock on his door, but Joshua seemed to evade him well. He was always kind and glowing with optimism , even with his professional career.

Hearing him call her, her head turned his direction, immediately stopping the millennia old habit of her nail picking, a soft smile raising to her rosie lips. “Yes sir Joshua.” She nodded formally in his direction from where she sat. “Nothing to note yet, sir.”

@❛ ☽﹕jennie k。 As the chief, Joshua would often take his turns rounding the building to entertain anyone in need of his services before taking his leave to attend to more business outside that is in need of his attention.

"I see you're here, Miss Kim?" He valued everyone in the clan's higher positions, especially his own citizens that he must come to get used to while working as chief. Joshua always made sure to check on everyone in the building and if anyone required any medical attention would be quickly sent off to the apothecary handled with his own care of expenses. That's how kind he was, always on the ready for anything, but sometimes it doesn't apply in every problem he face.

"Anything new you've observed that I don't know of? Do tell." From the many visits the woman took and how much of a high profile figure she was, it wasn't that hard for him to spot her.

Jennie typically worked during the day (which was still really night in the city of cruor) in her private laboratory. But she was still permitted to observe government hearings and daily tasks, in exchange for her visions from the dead to see if there was correlation. She had been with the elders for a set period of centuries that her dues had been mostly paid, hence the privileged as a duchess, and even as a woman others sought her wisdom.

Sitting upon a high chair at the far left side of the seats in court, the vampiric female gazed over each figure that came forward with their complaints and arguments. Nothing seemed to stand out in the last 2 hours, so she didn’t speak a word. She sat up tall in her tight corset, chocolate hair curled behind her back, pinned and properly standing. Her dress was a light blue, and though it made her a sore thumb among all the golds and browns and blacks, it was full enough she didn’t seem to stick like a sore thumb. She played with the underside of her fingernails as she watched over the court, waiting for some sort of sign of something the dead had spoken over her.
