one of the few entertainments that the vampires take into joy. they open during the night and could get very rowdy once a challenger appears in the ring。
Duck, swing, kick out the opponent's legs from under him. The crowd roars in a unified wave, crashing down hard on Chan the same time an elbow does. The song of glee rings in his ears and hollow ribcage, a loud rhythm that sweeps him up in the moment. Fists connect at the same time and he tastes blood in his mouth- his own, the familiar coppery tang less pleasant than that of his prey, but /exhilarating/ nonetheless. Torn lips stretch out into a carnal smile, red and cheshire, fangs bared in the light even as they close on thin air but his hands find purchase again. Again and again. Methodically choke out until there is no strength left in a struggling body, break each bone one by one, rip the tender, open throat open with his-
The ring of the bell screams in his ears, no- there is just somebody screaming in his ears, and reluctantly Chan learns to let go of his senseless opponent. A shame. Whoever he had been fighting must have been important- or at least paid enough to keep himself alive. He preferred the fights where they cared little about the state of his opponents after. The ground is still a little dizzying when he staggers to his feet, a sting across his knuckles as skin rends itself back together, but the thrill of the hunt was already fizzling out in his veins, leaving the cocky smile a little hollow passing by the hollering audience. He doesn't catch what they are saying, not like it matters, he's just here for a thrill ride tonight, even if...
Well, even if he shouldn't really be here. The familiar face makes Chan stand a little straighter, or as straight as could be leaning against a pole just outside of the arena, waiting for the sear of wounds slowly putting themselves back together to pass. It only takes a second to school his features back together into an innocent look, despite the scrape at the corner of his mouth and the tussled hair, looking for all the world like a school boy who had wandered here by mistake despite the performance upon the stage just seconds ago. "Fancy seeing you here-hm? Got anything special to do?"
Bored to death, Kyungsoo wandered along Cruor seeking a way to distract himself from being so stressed out for not having any client for so long. Maybe the people in power are not needing his service anymore, or maybe things are just better. Either way, the century old vampire only has few gold coins left in his pocket. "Hmm...What might be happening?" The man halt on his track, tip-toeing a little because of the crowd screaming. He caught a glimpse of two vampires scowling at each other as if two predators ready to rip each others throats. Not for from him, a gentleman goes around holding a hat and he witnessed people placing their silver and gold inside it. "Your bet, mister?" The gentleman asked, stopping in front of him. Kyungsoo glanced at the man, unsure if it is worth it to place his fortune to anyone he is not even acquainted with. So, he offered a simple "Pardon me. It is better that I don't. Maybe later." A scoff escaped from the gentleman's lips, clicking his tongue in disbelief. Kyungsoo ignored the man's sentiment, and chose to watch from a good distance, thinking if being on the fight would earn him enough money.
just stopping in to say that i think this a lovely roleplay ; i just happened upon it from the "may i have this dance" advert ( the graphics were absolutely stunning ) and i can just tell how much work was put into compiling that notion ( and the rest of this roleplay ). i haven't been on rpr in quite a while, but it's always a pleasure to peak and spot places like this. wishing you the best with this place, darlings.
