@lee felix. "usually, i would think nicknames are childish, but first: it suits you, and second: the name has been around for as long as i can remember. there's no way i'm changing it now, sorry not sorry." she huffed, obviously not apologetic in the slightest. if anything, yeji figured felix had a nickname for her as well, he was merely trying to make it look like he was the bigger person, which he definitely wasn't. "in this together?" yeji repeated with a raised brow. "hah, absolutely not! i'm going to do everything in my power to ensure that we don't live in the same dorm room together. it sounds like a death sentence for you, and as much as i'd love to wring your neck personally, i don't need that on my record."

as soon as he called her brother the prettier one of the two, yeji's nostrils flared. god, he unfortunately knew how to push her buttons every time. "you might not wish to argue with fate, but i do. i'd rather face fate than have to see your annoying in my living quarters. besides, i think hyunjin would rather stay with you than have his little sister suffer such a horrible situation, right?" her brother gulped at that, knowing yeji could be extremely nasty and bratty when she didn't get her way. still, deep down, he thought it honestly might be a good thing that they were paired up together. maybe they could work out some of their differences. "a crybaby? why you little-" yeji lunged forward, only to be stopped by hyunjin who had hugged tightly around her waist to keep her from clawing felix's eyes out of his skull. "let me go! he deserves to pay for that comment!"

@hwang yeji. Felix can't help but smirk as he witnesses Yeji's reaction to their unexpected living arrangement. Her disbelief and annoyance are written all over her face, and he revels in the knowledge that their pairing has caught her off guard. Her disdainful gaze pierces through him as she forcefully shrugs off his arm, creating a noticeable distance between them. "Feet , huh?" he chuckles, amusement lacing his voice. "Aren't we a tad bit too old to be calling each other names, Yeji." He retorts, the smug grin painting over his visage rather permanently. As she continues her tirade, Felix leans against a nearby wall, seemingly unperturbed by her rant, her words flowing like a waterfall of indignation, each one emphasizing her aversion to the idea of being stuck with him.

"I hate to break it to you, Yeji, but I think we're in this together," he responds, a playful glint dancing in his eyes. He can't resist the temptation to get under her skin a little more. "Ah yes, Hyunjin, the prettier sibling. As much as I'd love to switch with him, it seems the universe has decided that you and I are destined for this grand adventure. Who am I to argue with fate?" He muses whilst glancing over to Hyunjin, who simply shakes his head in dismay and breathes out a sigh. "Feel free to go and cry about it to the admin office, I'm sure if you sob hard enough like the little cry baby you are, they might just do something about." His pearly whites sinking into the pillowy expanse of his lower lip, futilely attempting to restrain his smirk from growing wider.

@lee felix. yeji couldn't believe it. not only had she mistakenly been paired up with a male as her college roommate, but said male happened to be none other than lee felix, her brother's annoying best friend and her archenemy. somehow, everyone but her seemed to be perfectly fine with the idea, even her brother, hyunjin. didn't he of all people understand what a horrible idea this was? yeji and felix would be clawing at each other the moment they both stepped foot into the dorm room. surely, yeji's college career as she knows it would be flushed right down the toilet, because there was no possible way she'd be able to focus on studying with him around.

just as she was in the middle of ranting to hyunjin about her absolutely repulsive situation, the devil himself showed up, and, to her disgust, actually touched her by draping an arm across her shoulders. with a look at could kill, yeji glared at him from the side, doing her best to shrug off his arm and step a good five feet away from him. "yeah, no. this isn't going to work, feet ." the nickname she'd come up for him when she turned five proudly stuck all of these years. "we're going to kill each other before we can even make it to our first class. i can't stand you on a regular basis, so how the hell am i going to stand being holed up with you in a tiny room for an entire year? seriously, just call the school and tell them they've made a mistake." she grumbled, arms coming up to cross over her chest while she jutted out one hip to the side. "there's no way they meant to put a male student with a female student. why can't you ask to switch with hyunjin? you two are so close, it's gross."

@tyunning. As the day unfolds, Felix goes about his usual routine, blissfully unaware of the impending twist of fate that awaits him. However, when the news finally reaches his ears, it lands like a heavy blow. He can't believe what he's hearing. Yeji, his perpetual nemesis since childhood, is to become his roommate. The mere thought feels like a cruel joke, as if the universe is conspiring against him. Vivid memories flood his mind, reminding him of the countless altercations and incessant bickering he has engaged in with Yeji throughout their shared history. And now, they are destined to share the same living space. The irony is not lost on him. As the weight of the news settles upon Felix, he can't help but wonder what fate has in store for them. Is this some twisted attempt to force them into finding common ground? Or perhaps it's a form of punishment for all the times they have clashed in the past. Whatever the reason, one thing is certain: it's going to be an absolute chaos.

That evening, as Felix finds himself seeking solace in the company of his best friend, Hyunjin, to complain, he finds him indulging in a conversation with who else but Yeji. Though he can't discern every word, Yeji's tone and gestures convey her irritation with the situation—and most probably, with him. With a forced grin, he guides himself towards them, soon casually looping an arm over Yeji's shoulder. "Well, well, well, if ain't my roomie. Aren't you simply the luckiest girl on campus."
