@hwang hyunjin. “Hmm no it’s not I have friends within my pack but not “close” to anyone really. I think some are wary especially the older ones hence makes their children that are my age wary because I was an orphan. Got adopted by my parents so I’m not a “true” member of the pack because of my status as an outsider that got adopted at least to the elders in my pack and those that share the same views.” Felix lightly said “plus I’m the only one that’s blonde and have freckles compared to everyone else.” The werewolf shrugs. “Some befriend me out of curiousity, pity or make themselves look better or feel better about themselves. I’m not blind or dumb about that I know people do that but honestly if they’ll use me I’ll use them.” He shrugs.

“You need to vibe with the other person? So we can do that then like you suggested a small trip maybe to the town near by and then you, yourself and yours can see if I work well with you.” He said cheekily switching me, myself and I phrasing that Hyunjin used. “Even if we aren’t compatible I probably would still ask you on best places to visit and so on since you have the most experience out of everyone I’ve met.”

Felix barks out a laugh “‘level-headed and wise’ hehe, good one hyung!” He said wiping tears of amusement, “nah more like a grumpy unsocial old woman who collects cats and complains about everyone but her darling cats and enjoys their company more.” He said wiping tears of mirth from his amused eyes. “I’ll behave Ahjumma, see you at the meeting and maybe hopefully to more meetings in the future.” Giving the other a bright smile before he steps back shifting into his silvery wolf form and turns around disappearing into the trees.

@Lee Felix "why is it hard to make friends with wolves in your own pack? i can understand it being rough outside of your pack, but...seems strange, especially with your extremely bubbly personality, like you just mentioned," he mumbled, once again wondering why he was humoring this wolf by continuing to ask questions about him and his life. "you would think people would be knocking down your door trying to become friends with you. so, i'm surprised."

"mm, that i can believe...with or without charm, people tend to give out freebies when individuals are kind to them. wouldn't you agree?" hyunjin asked with his head tilted to the side. "i don't think you're understanding me, though. clearly, i vibe with very few people, so what makes you figure that /we/ will get along well enough to travel the world together? i'm picky with my traveling partners. for the most part, it's me, myself, and i." what didn't this wolf understand about hyunjin being a loner? this conversation has already gone on longer than any hyunjin usually has with other creatures. "but, whatever. i suppose i will take a very brief trip with you just to prove that we're incompatible and that you should choose someone else to accompany you." maybe the obnoxiously cute canine would leave him alone altogether.

"if by 'mean old lady' you mean 'level-headed and wise', then sure..." personally, he didn't care if people thought his personality or looks were mediocre. he'd prefer not being looked at in general. "i suppose you will. however, we should act as if we don't know each other. that way, we can avoid all of the annoying questions. deal?"

@hwang hyunjin. “You have a point there, I know it can be instinctive a way to protect yourself so you react that way.” Felix said ruffling his blonde hair. Soon his freckled nose wrinkled faintly upon hearing what Hyunjin said “I do? I don’t think so, I would rather have a friend. But it’s hard to make friends within my own pack or outside of it.” He said shrugging.

“Hm that can be handy, to get away with things but werewolves have their own charms you know. Me with my bubbly sweet personality and how positive I am, in considered an energizer bunny. I often get away with free food and such because of it.” Dimples appearing when he said that before laughing softly seeing Hyunjin’s baffled expression upon his cheerful suggestion. “Why not? You have the experience and knowledge so I would rather go with someone that has the experience and knowledge than maybe going alone or with someone that doesn’t have experience and get scammed or worse.” Blinking upon hearing what he said “well then we can resolve that no? Get to know each other would help the problem and maybe a small trip to the town to see if we work?” He suggests brightly.

Felix nearly beamed when he got a short laugh from the grumpy vampire “seems you like my refreshing honest personality,” soon a grimace appeared on his face “those books… have an romantic interesting view on vampires. You look pretty but have a personality of a mean old lady.” He said tilting his head hearing that he would be at the meeting. “You will? I guess I’ll see you there.” The young werewolf brightly said

@Lee Felix "that's not as easy as you think. everyone has things that annoy them or set them off...you can't help the way you react sometimes," he scoffed, glancing off to the side while folding his arms across his chest. "sounds like you need a romantic partner, or someone who can keep you company...more so than just the members of your pack. back when i was young and naive, a partner like that would fill the voids of loneliness."

"mm, i forgot wolves do not necessarily have 'powers', or useful ones anyway, like us vampires. a little bit of mind control persuasion sometimes is all it takes to hitch a ride and travel without cost. unfortunately for you, you may have to save up money, yes." such a suggestion nearly had hyunjin's red eyes bugging out of his head. traveling with an annoying, yet cheerful wolf pup sounded like an extremely bad idea. "there isn't another wolf from your pack who could go with you? you barely know me, and i barely know you; i'm not certain we would get along well enough to travel and stay together for hours at a time."

hyunjin barked out a quick, short laugh. "i think you might be one of the only creatures to say such a thing, unless you factor in all of the weird, vampire-obsessed teenage girls. they don't count in my book." he shivered at the thought. "the meeting? yes, i will be there...i plan on doing what i always do: standing in the background and simply observing. i've been attending those pact meetings for centuries and have yet to utter a single word."

@hwang hyunjin. “Hmm no I can’t read you it’s just a feeling. You remind me of one of the elders in my pack, keeping others at a distance as a way to protect themselves like a porcupine or a hedgehog.” Felix said and grins “and you let me push them.” He counters cheerfully “you could easily could’ve stopped me from pushing them or annoying you. hmm you’re right I could fix my situation, but I do like my pack.” Felix said with a small grin.

“I’ll have to save up to go to places it costs money and quite a bit too, especially if I want to go overseas. Lucky you you can see all the wonders.” He said wistfully before perking up “why not you join me? We can be travel buddies you can show me the places and I can make memories!” Beaming looking pleased at the idea.

“Nah you’re a prince like a demon prince? Beautiful and ethereal but deadly too. You may have sharp teeth but you have a shaper tongue like an old shrew.” He said slyly running a hand through his hair and shrugs “hm kinda boring if all the princes were alive wouldn’t it?” He asks then pauses “are you guys going to the pact meeting between werewolves and vampires?”

@Lee Felix hyunjin simply rolled his eyes. what kind of nonsense was this wolf going on about? "you've only just met me, pup, and you think you can read me so easily? i'm not lonely, as i've already said. perhaps, your sniffer isn't as wonderful as you perceive it to be," he grumbled. who the heck did the werewolf think he was, making assumptions by someone hundreds of times his age. "you just like to push my buttons, i've noticed. but yes, of course, you can still be in a large group of people and still feel alone. why don't you try and fix that, though? change packs or whatever...i don't know."

"experience it for yourself then. for most people, life is too short to sit stagnant for too long. luckily for me, i have an endless amount of time for opportunities to travel." hyunjin said matter-of-factly while giving the other a shrug of his shoulders. "books and movies, things like that...sure, they're great, but they can't compare to actually having an in-person experience. so, go and find a traveling partner and have them fly to different places with you."

"a prince?" he quirked a brow. "maybe from a horror story, not from one where a prince charming comes in and saves the princess. i have too sharp of teeth and too much of a reputation for all of that. i would also say people would prefer someone more...mm, alive to be their prince, don't you think?" technically, the only thing hyunjin had over those men from fairytales would be the fact that he was graced with immortal beauty. while the princes might lose their looks, hyunjin would remain the same.

@hwang hyunjin. “Hmm sort of? You look lonely, or at least that’s what I can smell and “see” I mean.” He said shrugging “werewolves do thrive in a pack, makes us stronger but there are those that do go solo or go rogue due to various reasons. Rogues are far more dangerous than a pack at times.” Felix said before shrugging “I do fine alone or in a pack, I think it’s boring being alone since I do live alone in my den with my pack. You can still be part of a pack or something and still feel alone.” The werewolf honestly said rubbing a hand through his blonde hair.

Felix’s eyes light up “they are?” He asks latching on what he said his forehead furrowing when Hyunjin mentioned that he had to eat before he went out in the sun before understanding dawned in his amber eyes. “Australia and Hawaii huh? I’ve heard Hawaii has pink and black sand, it would be cool to see. But I also heard… was it Barcelona or somewhere that the beach lights up at night, that would be a sight to see.” He said his eyes shining, “I’ve snuck into town and there’s a cool place like the book store and library and they have really neat books of all places and things.” He admits “I want to know more what’s like out there.” He confesses looking down slightly embarrassed by what he said to a vampire too. Why was he so curious about this particular vampire? He never was interested in them until he met this prickly vampire that reminded him vaguely of a hedgehog or a porcupine, cute to look at but not fun to get pricked by, and those spikes especially from a hedgehog had barbs too! Those hurt when you had to pull them out.

“Of course it’s not funny.” He agrees and beams when he said thank you. “You’re welcome! I do mean it you remind me of a prince from those stories” he said and it was true with how attractive the vampire was with his pale skin, and the thick glossy black hair made him very attractive like a fairy tale prince.


Felix grins again

@Lee Felix hyunjin raised an eyebrow. "does it look like i've 'lost myself', pup? i told you, i've been on my own for a long while now. i'm proof that people...well, /vampires/ can exist on their own just fine. i don't know about werewolves, but maybe since your type seems to be rather sensitive, it's harder for you." he shrugged, then slipped his hands into the pockets on the front of his jeans.

another step back. "beaches are wonderful. i have to make sure i eat before going out in the sun, however, or that would be stupid /and/ deadly on my part. australian beaches are some of my favorites...but hawaii has some lovely ones as well. i suppose it depends on what you're aiming to see and do there before you make your decision on which to visit." and why on earth was he still talking? the pup gives him one compliment and suddenly, he's forgetting that they're sworn enemies!

"i'm- it's not funny!" he huffed. "but fine, whatever...thank you."

@hwang hyunjin. “Perhaps we do. It’s fine to be alone sometimes but not ALL the time it would make one lose themselves I think. But maybe I’ll see what you mean when I’m older but for now being alone is ok but it’s nice to have a family or a pack you can rely on when you’re sick or injured.” The young wolf said with a smile dimples appearing.

Cocking his head his eyes shining with curiosity when Hyunjin mentioned that he did travel a lot but never stayed in one place “hm so what place has been your favorite so far?” He asks “I know I really want to see the ocean I’ve heard so much about it but never knew which beach would be good to visit.” He shrugs “any recommendations?” He asks hopefully.

Felix laughs softly dimples flashing again when he got glowered by the vampire who got a bit huffy with his cheeky words. “Yup you are pretty. Prettier than other vampires I’ve seen and some wolves too. It’s a compliment just say thank you hyung!”

@Lee Felix "lonely and boring? we think oppositely then - not that i'm surprised by that. i find it comforting to be by myself. that way, i only have to worry about me, myself, and i. there's no one else weighing me down." long ago, perhaps hyunjin would've answered differently, but after losing many friends and family to hunters, wars, and the like, he'd hardened himself to feelings and forming bonds. it was easier to avoid attachment, and in turn, avoid ending up hurt.

"i suppose you could say my life's been interesting. when you have forever, you take more risks and tend to be adventurous. i've traveled a lot and lived among different covens. i'm not one to settle down and live in one place for a long period of time." that was also another way he prevented attachment. you didn't tend to form friendships or alliances when you constantly moved from city to city.

hyunjin glowered, taking a step away from the wolf with full intentions of leaving the pup behind and never seeing him again. he hated how easily this mutt was ruffling his feathers. "i'm done answering questions now then. the rest, you'll have to figure out on your own." hyunjin took another few steps, but the next comment that spilled out of the other's mouth, however, made him pause, his lashes fluttering in surprise. "pretty? that's not-" he huffed. "i'm not pretty."

@hwang hyunjin. “Of course. It’s important to know where the borders are for safety. Hm being alone is lonely and boring at times.” He said quietly and shrugs “but I find things to keep me busy so I guess that’s good right? Not letting the loniless consume you.” Giving the other a small smile.

“Hm wolves can live a long life if we choose to but I think many don’t because it’s lonely and boring to live a long life and we do follow our instincts since the wolf is a part of us.” He said tilting his head seeing how Hyunjin warned him making him grin dimples appearing again, “you must had an interesting life if you’ve lived that long and touchy about your age.” He said with an easy laugh.

“I’m curious, there’s so much out there that I don’t know about and I want to know and learn more.” He said looking at Hyunjin “well you had many chances to walk away and not answer but here you are answering my questions maybe not directly but you’re having a conversation with me no?” He replies with a cheeky smile “and I’ve never seen a pretty vampire like you, the others I’ve seen are uglier.” He said bluntly

@Lee Felix "so, you're familiar with the border lines...that's a start, i suppose." hyunjin grumbled, still unsure if he believed that the pup could be trusted or not. he'd come across many conniving werewolves and none had been good news. this wolf didn't seem all too different, but he could be wrong. hm, that makes us both loners. however, i can't exactly say that i dislike living on my own." of course, the vampire had many friends, but his family had all passed.

hyunjin snorted in slight amusement. "i'm not surprised. wolves don't like as long as we do, mainly because we choose to use our brains properly." did this mutt think he was joking? hyunjin had been through many wars, fighting for numerous sides and slaughtering thousands of enemies without batting an eye. he'd easily slice through the wolf if the other gave him a reason to. "then, watch what you say so you don't lose it."

"that's not how it works, pup. why are you so concerned with this, anyway? i have no plans to sit here and explain vampires, or myself for that matter, to you. go, read a book, and find out all of this on your own." never in a million years would hyunjin allow someone else to catch him conversing with a werewolf, especially while on patrol. "just be warned: your curiosity might end up getting you killed."

@hwang hyunjin. “I would’ve yes. I’ve lost preys to your borders but I never crossed them.” Felix said shrugging before looking at the vampire “parents? They’re dead, my brother raised me but he’s been gone for awhile… so it’s just me.” He shrugs observing the vampire.

“Ah! So you are much older than me.” He grins unfazed by his reaction and threat of cutting his tongue out “I would prefer if you didn’t, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy meat if I lost my tongue or talk now would I?” He asks dimples appearing as he smiles.

“Hmm shouldn’t it be the other way around? Pure bloods not aging once they reach a certain age and mixed breeds aging slowly?” He tilts his head curious as the vampire was answering his question and revealed more information about himself. “Oh? Cool so you stopped aging at 24? I’m 21!” He said as he eyes him curiously “what year did you die and get turned? You can tell my year I was born and my current age but I’m curious about you. If you’ve lost track of birthdays? How old are you really?” He asks eager since it was the first time he ever talked to a vampire other than what he heard or read about them so naturally he was curious.

@Lee Felix hyunjin grunted in response to the wolf's words. "would you have stopped if i hadn't been here? you were barrelling forward so fast...i don't think you even knew how close you were to crossing. what a reckless, little pup." the vampire tsked, clearly only growing more agitated with how their conversation was progressing. "haven't your parents taught you anything? i feel like that's one of the first things pups learn...you wolves will do or say whatever bull to make vampires sound way worse than we actually are."

"a grumpy old man? you should watch your tongue before i cut it out." something hyunjin would be proud to admit that he'd done more than once in his lifetime. hey, he didn't become one of the most feared and revered vampire in his coven by being nice.

"technically, both are correct. purebloods age slowly while us mixed breeds do not age at all." why the vampire was wasting his time explaining this, he didn't know. "i happened to die and be turned at the age of twenty-four, so this is what i'll be stuck as for the rest of my time here on earth. my actual age, however...i've had so many birthdays that i can't even remember how old i am."

@hwang hyunjin. Felix blinks “I didn’t go past the border I’m still within my borders despite my prey escaping into your territory.” Felix said with a shrug observing the grumpy looking vampire that was taller than him and had his arms crossed in front of his chest. He could see the disdain in those crimson eyes before shrugging “I didn’t cross it, so quit looking so grumpy. You look like a grumpy old man.” Felix said a grin appearing making dimples appear on his freckles face before tilting his head not answering his question but asked one of his own “I haven’t seen you either so that makes us even.”

Felix bit back a smile that was threatening to emerge when he noticed the vampire getting annoyed by his words as a hand pushed back his blonde hair “I’m guessing you’re older than me judging by how you’re talking.” He said tilting his head curious “I heard you guys age slowly or don’t age dunno which one is correct but your clothes look… outdated.” Observing the other before shrugging his shoulders “or you simply like the vintage aesthetic.”

@Lee Felix peering around some of the trees, he spotted a very large wolf chasing a frightened rabbit, only for it to come to a halt when hyunjin had called out. the vampire's lip curled in disgust once the werewolf had shifted right in front of him, a blond-haired boy soon standing in the wolf's place. the territories had been marked for years...so, how could this mutt not have realized how close he was getting to hyunjin's land?

"seems like you're not very aware of your surroundings, are you?" hyunjin grumbled, arms coming up to fold across his chest as he tilted his head to the side to examine the other male. "you look young...so maybe that's why. the older wolves know not to come this close to our land, not even for hunting purposes." his crimson orbs scanned the werewolf up and down before clicking his tongue. "now that i'm thinking about it, i've never seen you before. i'm wondering why that is."

@hwang hyunjin. Felix was on hunting duty for his pack and had been tracking a rabbit on his territory. He loved hunting especially in his wolf form, being one with nature always relaxed the werewolf. The smells, sounds, sights were so different in his wolf form compared to his human form and simpler too. For now he was focused on chasing after the rabbit letting out a soft growl when he lunged only for it to escape, the thrill of the hunt and the victory at the end only made him enjoy it.

Soon the rabbit managed to escape his clutches into the vampire territory which he could tell by the scent making him halt cursing only to hear a voice. Closing his eyes he slowly shifts and stood up. His long blonde hair slightly messy, a freckled face frowning at the loss of prey as his hazel eyes glanced towards the vampire “sorry! Lost my prey in your territory.”

@Lee Felix hyunjin couldn't believe he'd been chosen to do rounds for the evening, which consisted of him walking around the perimeter of his coven's territory while making sure no one snuck onto the grounds or threatened the security of his family. /especially/ with what happened the last time he'd been assigned such a task.

with a loud sigh, he made yet another loop around the border, kicking at twigs and rocks as he went. nothing was happening...how was he supposed to keep this up until dawn? the boredom really started to get to him. at least, until he caught a sound coming from behind him that made him immediately spin on his heels and peer into the darkness. thankfully, his vampirism allowed him to see things a basic human couldn't.

"come out already!" hyunjin hissed. "i know you're there...and you don't scare me in the slightest."

@hwang hyunjin. “I don’t mind if you did.” Felix replies with a grin before shrugging “Hm it’s their loss, you’re the very few that actually has talked to me, made a conversation and was curious about the drink.” Felix said as he shakes Hyunjin’s hand. He laughs nodding as he glances at his name tag and grins “kinda obvious isn’t it?” He said before beaming “well I owe your friend a huge thank you for recommending this place to you. Thank you for coming here, and liking the things this little cafe has.” He said

@Lee Felix hyunjin couldn't help but stare. god, could this man get any cuter? every single inch of him radiated adorableness! "you wouldn't mind me requesting your special drink all of the time? what if other customers notice and get jealous?" he asked playfully, extending his hand as well to meet felix halfway for a warm handshake. "i've noticed your nametag since the first day i came here. i couldn't help it..." he flushed a little. "i actually had been trying to find a few place to grab coffee at, and a friend recommended this cafe! i've been coming here for a long time now."

@hwang hyunjin. Felix blushes and laughs softly behind his hand seeing how cute the other was nodding so eagerly. “Please do.” He warmly said and beams “Im glad to hear that. I tend to get carried away.” With a soft laugh before holding his hand out to shake Hyunjin’s hand “nice to meet you Hyunjin, I’m Felix I’m sure you can tell.” Gesturing to his name tag with a cheeky smile. “So how did you find the cafe? It’s pretty well hidden.”

@Lee Felix hyunjin nodded so hard he probably looked more comical than anything. "oh my god, yes! it's delicious, actually. i just might have to order this every time i come in." he murmured sheepishly before listening to the other's description of his drink. man, this guy really knew what he was talking about. but of course he did, he was a professional after all! "i don't mind if you ramble. it's adorable." hyunjin admitted before ducking his head sheepishly and rubbing at the back of his neck. "um, i'm hyunjin, by the way. i know we've kind of met before, but this is our first...y'know, official meeting, heh. it's nice to meet you."

@hwang hyunjin. Felix watched Hyunjin drink the iced matcha and beams, “you like it?” He said with a bright smile “I changed the milk brand I use and get it directly from the local dairy farm, so their milk is thicker and creamy, kinda sweet so used that to make the matcha and then made a cold foam with homemade brown sugar, with semi sweet chocolate for the latte art.” He explains happily “I thought it would balance each other out since matcha it’s not sweet, and the brown sugar goes great with it. So it balances it out. Plus I didn’t want to sweeten the matcha to make it too sweet.” He said then blushes “I’m rambling aren’t I?”

@Lee Felix "are you sure?" hyunjin briefly questioned how fast the barista agreed to provide him company, but ended up not thinking too much about it once the other reassured him that it would be more than fine. he took a few sips and swallowed, smacking his lips together as the flavor exploded on his tastebuds. "it's delicious! what ingredients did you end up putting in it?" hyunjin asked curiously while nibbling on the croissant.

@hwang hyunjin. Felix grins seeing how the other was blinking dazed before recovering. “Hm sure I can.” He said after scanning the cafe and sat down “the boss will be fine with it.” Winking not mentioning that he was the boss. “Plus it’s slow so no worries.” The barista said cheekily winking again. “So what do you think?” He asks

@L4naM0ch1. hyunjin truly didn't expect the barista to actually fix him up something special and give it to him without charge. yet, here he was, standing right in front of him, saying that he didn't owe a single cent. "i- okay, wow." he mumbled, blinking comically a few times. he definitely was going to pay him /something/ at least, but that smile flashed in his direction prevented him from thinking about much else at the current moment. "thank you. you went above and beyond." hyunjin smiled sheepishly, scooting the drink and croissant closer to him. "are you able to sit down with me while i drink this? or is that against company policy? i don't want you to get in trouble because of me."

@hwang hyunjin. Felix laughs softly pushing back his blonde hair that had slipped out of his pony tail, his freckled nose wrinkling as he laughs, “fine, I’ll surprise you.” He said with a grin, hiding his amusement when he heard the other slip up and hastily correct himself as he was talking. “Deal. I’ll be out with your drink.” Winking at the other as he turns away remembering that the other liked cold drinks when it was hot but hot drinks when it was cold outside. Today was a rather hot day so he hums to himself making a iced matcha semi sweet noticing the other’s habits, with a brown sugar foam ontop of it before carefully using the chocolate to create a cute latte art and brought it over “here you go, hope you like it it’s one of my newer inventions.” Flashing his pretty white teeth, “croissant too, they’re both on the house just let me know what you think of it.”

@L4naM0ch1. the taller male bit his bottom lip as he contemplated the choices the barista gave him before finally answering. "i'm not going to tell you!" he declared, sporting another smile, albeit a cheeky one this time. "would it be too much to ask for you to make me a surprise drink? i trust your judgment; i know you've been working here for a long time...er, at least since i've been coming around, which has been about a year now." hyunjin hummed. "take your time with the drink! i'll go and sit while i wait. feel free to bring it over once you're finished and let me know how much i owe, heh."

@hwang hyunjin. Felix hums to himself his soft slightly longish blonde hair swaying as he bobs his head along with the music cleaning the counters and mugs of his cafe he loved. He had inherited from his grandpa and did his best to keep it up and running. It was his pride and joy, looking up a smile appears on his pretty freckled face as he saw his frequent customer walk up to the counter. “Hi! Well it depends, do you like sweet or bitter? Coffee, espresso or something else? Hot or iced?” He asks leaning against the counter

@L4naM0ch1. hyunjin nearly laughed at himself for being so eager to enter his favorite coffee shop again just to see the cute barista standing behind the counter. technically, he did need a quiet place to study, /and/ the coffee was killer here, so he had an excuse to keep coming back. after glancing over to make sure that the booth he usually sat in was open, he marched his way up to the counter and scanned the selections, contemplating trying something new off of the menu. "hi," he greeted the barista with a charming smile. "what would you recommend?"
